We were passing through overnight and my husband found this place while riding his bike and stopped in for a beer-liked it, so we came back for dinner. We ate in the bar area. Service was good, just Briana working on a Sunday night and she was fairly busy, but came back to check on us regularly. I had veal Marsala and it came with bread and salad. Both were good, salad fresh. The veal Marsala was tasty and it came with pasta. My husband took a chicken Caesar salad to go and it was also great. I would definitely come back again.

We were passing thru after a long day of sight seeing, and stopped for dinner, on 9/14/15. We were a party of 9. The food and service were excellent! I would recommend you try this Italian / Mexican restaurant. sounds strange but italian food was wonderful.

Had dinner there on 9/6. It was within walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant side was already pretty full, so we went to the bar side. It was actually a very large bar, with one bartender/waitress. I don't eat much and my husband wasn't hungry, so we split the spaghetti with meat sauce. He had the house salad, which he enjoyed. Nothing special---lettuce and shredded carrots. No tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. The spaghetti sauce was very good, as well as the fresh bread. I would certainly try the place again. The only downside was slow service. Not bartender/waitress fault. Before we left there were 10 people in the bar, and just Crystal waiting tables and serving drinks. O, the other downside---husband left his hat there.

Before or after your great meal be sure to step next door and grab a cold drink and enjoy some of the local flavor - this Bar is located adjacent to some of the very best Italian food around the area. You can even sit at the bar and order food from the restaurant if you choose, and with a good selection of taps and bottles as well as well and call drinks available - this place is a good choice. There is even a walk through from the restaurant into the bar area making it very convenient access. This is a solid bar and grill in this small high desert community with some decent drinks and good food - been here several times over the years - the beer has always been cold and the food always good, so much so I often plan my drive so my overnight stays are in town when traveling through the area. Well worth a stop. 3 1/2 stars ~ rounded up for being part of such a great eatery. 00235

We tried the all you can eat pasta and found it quite nice- much like you would prepare at home but don't have to! The pasta came with a salad which was fresh and a nice size for a dinner side salad. The bread was nicely toasted and a nice accompaniment. One bowl filled us up so we didn't go for more but wished we could have! Overall a nice week day dinner. We felt the price a little on the high side compared to Babbo's all you can eat for 5.99 but again we realize we are in a small town. The price of 10.95 will not keep us away.

Driving through town and decided to stay the night at a nearby campground. I asked the receptionist at the campground where there was a good place to eat in town. She said "hands down" it's the Mesa. Okay, so we arrived and parked outside. Walked up to the place and we're trying figure out if it was a sports bar or Italian restaurant. There were two doors, but it appeared to be one place. A couple walked out of the Italian place and said to go there. White tablecloths, candles ... Hmm, okay. We were seated immediately and brought water and breadsticks. Yum, those a tasty! We decided to order a bottle of wine since we were both drinking. The markup isn't too bad, but fair. We both had Caesar salads which were very good. I had the lasagna and my wife had some shrimp scampi dish. Both were very good - the sauces were great. Decent size portions, so we took a little back with us. They even allowed us to re-cork the wine and take it with us as well! Good service, friendly staff, quiet atmosphere. The meals were decently priced. Not a huge bargain, but they're not ripping anyone off either. I would definitely eat here again on my next stop through!

Truly, this was a pleasant surprise when in the middle of nowhere. Great food, and great service! I ordered the spaghetti, (getting into the Italian spirit) and it was EXCELLENT! The meatballs were also good and the meat was cooked nicely. One of those "if only we could get it on the map" restaurants. They just need a better location.

Stopped in here last week to see my old highway friend Reggie. Sadly he is gone. "I don't know, they just let him go." I slammed a whiskey and left observing several paramedics playing pool. It was a Tuesday night, so not much going on.

We passed it coming into town and noticed all the cars parked out front. We decided to go after we checked in. Quaint atmosphere only three servers running the place. You could go to the bar next door and eat dinner there too. We stayed on the restaurant side and ordered a beer and ice tea. Cesar salad was great, they split the Menotti on two plates for us and it hit the spot! Garlic bread was good and we got a side of Alfredo sauce to go with, We then decided we should have gotten the Alfredo with chicken too. Pricing was very fair and the entree came with a salad. We would go back and we do recommend. Careful, they close the kitchen at 9pm!

I like this place, though it's not my favorite Holbrook bar. The jukebox has a good selection (ask for "Holed up in Holbrook," the bartenders favorite and a song recorded just for them by a local band!...not available on CD, I asked!) and there are pool tables. You can order food at the bar or sit at the few, scattered tables. It comes from the Italian place just next door. The bartender is friendly and speedy. Nice, chill place.

Pleasantly surprised by the selection of local beer on tap, not what I expected from a restaurant / bar wedged between various Interstate stop-over hotels. Great service from the bartender and while the steak wasn't the best that I've had, it was well above average for a bar/grill in the Southwest. Everything arrived very quickly, so make sure you're hungry at the moment you order! Still can't believe the lady down the bar thinks the hottest actor in Hollywood is Jeff Goldblum... the things you learn in small-town Arizona...

We were traveling through the area and took a chance on this place; we were not disappointed! We had excellent service from Larry as well as the other support staff. I had the stuffed shells with the white sauce. This dish came out very hot and lightly browned. It was the best I've ever tasted. We had caesar salad and garlic bread with tomatoes and mozzarella. We enjoyed our meal very much!

What a lovely little place in this small town! We came on the advise of the staff at our hotel and we were not let down. Salad was very fresh and crisp, the bread was warm and crunchy from being grilled and then we split the pasta combo. They charged extra for the split but it gave us the extra salad and the kitchen did the splitting. Maybe a little on the high end but the food was spot on delicious so no complaint and we will stop again next time we are in Holbrook over night. For a Thursday night they were very busy. Appeared to be a mix of travelers and locals. Just a little on the slow side getting dinners out but we were in no hurry so we just waited.
