Its pretty cute. I like the decor. Its very clean. I like the tables and the people are super nice. They have homemade jams and jewelry as well as other things. There weren't any other customers there when we arrived at about 7:45 AM but by the time we left about an hour later it was pretty full. They have interesting stuff on the menu like Eggs Benedict and Monte Cristo sandwiches. I just had the special, they have off menu stuff sometimes and I had the ham steak instead of the sausage or bacon. It was good, my eggs were done the way I like them, ONLY thing I didn't like was the toast (personal preference), it was soggy, do they use margarine instead of butter? So I just didn't eat them, but they have hash brown casserole, it was AWESOME! its like a cheesey latke. We ate with our neighbors up there and everyone enjoyed the food. Its interesting have breakfast with those who live up in Heber full time because they know everyone, so we got to meet more of the locals than we'd previously known. The service was good, attentive and friendly. Its a lot bigger than June's so even if we went later I hear the wait for a table isn't so bad. We will for sure go back!

My boyfriend and I stopped in this morning. We both had the special. Eggs were great. Hash brown casserole was AMAZING!! He ordered the original short stack and loved it. His coffee never got under half a cup. Kim was very attentive and polite. We were able to sit right away. Service was great. Cute decor, clean bathrooms. I highly recommend this to anyone passing thru the area.

Passing through the forests we stopped at a nearby hotel and ate here for breakfast. Had some eggs, French toast and pancakes. All of which were good serving sizes. Had to take some to go. So we have some lunch for later now! People there were friendly and it's a great looking cafe. Totally recommend

What's different- * Expresso machine * Creative menu, including eggs benedict. Egg and sausage with gravy burrito. Cute atmosphere. Tidy place. Well-prepared breakfast.

This place just opened up today and we decided to try it out at the Heber-Overgaard Fire Department. The staff was very friendly and quick to seat us. The atmosphere relaxing and peaceful. All of us enjoyed our food and will be back for more.

Cute little place we found while driving across country. Definitely seems like a local spot. Everything is made on the spot. Portions are huge and the waitresses are sweet. One downside was it wasn't quite busy and our food took a while. How long does breakfast take? My mom ordered the blueberry pancakes. A short stack has two that full up a huge plate. So filling! The blueberries were fresh and plump and the pancakes were fluffy. Loved the warm maple syrup on the side. She also tried the cherry wood smoked bacon. Thick cut and delicious! I was boring and ordered two eggs over easy with bacon and (homemade!!) multigrain bread. Bread was amazing. Eggs were cooked just right. The coffee was yummy too and refills were brought over several times without having to ask.

Purple Sage - We noticed the owners classic car in the parking lot and knew we had to stop and check it out. It is a thing of beauty with a paint job you wouldn't believe, and worth a look even if you don't stop to eat. We left Phoenix at 5:00 am and the Purple Sage was perfectly located fora breakfast stop. The interior of the shop is adorably decorated in a western/Native American theme. There is a display case full of jewelry for sale, and a shelf full of home-canned jellies and jams. My friend, Tyoni, said it's always a good sign when a local cafe sells home made jam. There is a display case full of pie that looks pretty good, though we were here for breakfast and didn't try any, and another display case fill of Dreyers ice cream. Tyoni and I ordered the Purple Sage Special. Tyoni which consisted of two eggs (we order ours scrambled), two slices of cherry smoked bacon, a hash brown casserole, and your choice of biscuit or English muffin. Tyoni seriously considered ordering the biscuit, but she is really picky about her gravy and the Purple Sage uses canned gravy which did not pass muster, so she got the English muffin instead. The bacon was good, and the hash brown casserole was excellent - cheesy, well seasoned, and nice and crispy golden brown on the outside. The English muffin and scrambled eggs were unimpressive, forgettable. On the whole the meal was two stars. We all agreed we've had much better, but the decor was cute and the service excellent. The Purple Sage Cafe sells a full array coffee drinks including Americano, latte, mocha, macchiato Display case Dreyers ice cream. Display case for pies.

I LOVED this place. They had an incredibly friendly staff and the breakfast menu was awesome! We took our children and they were too busy eating to talk. I had the 3 egg omelette. Yum.

The two of us stood next to the "please wait to be seated" sign for 10 minutes while the three waitresses walked past us several times without even acknowledging us. Dining room was about 50% full on a late Sunday morning. At the 12 minute mark and one more waitress walked past, it was clear they didn't want our business. I made our decision clear to one of the people working there and they didn't care. It became obvious to us that the owners were not there. It's unfortunate that employees can destroy a business so quickly when the owners are not around.

If it looks even remotely busy you will most likely have a 1 hour wait for you food after sitting at the table and getting your order in. That was our experience when ordering some basic eggs and pancakes. The food is ok and good for the price but I think that based on the speed of the food coming out of the kitchen they only have one small burner in the back to cook on.

We randomly stopped on our way home from a weekend in Show Low. We made it before noon so got to order breakfast. Great little place and seemed to be the best option from all the places we drove past. Food was good, good serving size, good place for the kids, nice people. All over a great find!
