Good flavor Italian ice and delicious custard, very nice combination together. Recommend going with a child size the others seem way to overwhelming, maybe offer one in between. Not a wide selection of stuff besides flavor of ice and one type of custard. Clean place though and I'd try it again in the future. Could use some more enthusiasm from the server. (Try to smile :D)
I was born and raised in New York and as a Native Yorker I have always enjoyed Italian Ices. So, when I hear about Italian Ices in my area you can bet I will be there. Hanna's Original Italian Ice is a nice little shop. The staff is friendly and they offer samples of any flavor you want to try and I tried them all. On my first visit I tried the lemon, rasberry, and orange, my sister had the cotton candy, and my nephew had the vanilla and chocolate swirl. The Italian ices were lightly sweet, refreshing, with bits of real fruit and the vanilla and chocolate custard was creamy and delicious. I am glad I found Hanna's and that it's so.close to home. I will be coming back real soon.
Pretty good Italian ice. Their was one in California I went to which drove me to find a Italian ice cream place. The one in California the people were overly joy and wanted to sample everything. And had suggestions of what to get, and what tasted good together. Here it was different but the ice cream was still tasteful. :)

We stop in here once a week when we bicycle to this part of town. The staff is always super friendly and the service is quick. I enjoy sitting outside in the early morning, even in the summer time. Great bagels and hot coffee!
Just moved here and expected, after reading some reviews here, that this place would be a great place to frequent since it is one of the few businesses in my area. The shop was nice and had plenty of seating but more importantly, clean. A very young man tended the registered and offered his assistance. I glanced at the menu for a minute since it was my first time there and liked that they had a good number of options. A few customers popped in and out while there and they appeared comfortable as if they were regulars so that gave a comforting feeling. The young man wasn't that knowledgable about the menu after I asked a couple questions but lady there was close by to answer questions he could not answer. Placed my order and it was a reasonable price. A few minutes later I was happy to have my order in a bag and ready to go since I was in hurry. My fault, I did not check the bag to ensure my order was correct. How hard could it have been? I ordered a sandwich and a handful of bagels with cream cheese. When I got home, I noticed I had everything except for the cream cheese. Frustrating. Now I feel that I HAVE to check my bag prior to leaving. :( Maybe next time it will be a little better. Almost forgot. Order a small cappuccino and went to sip it when it dribbled down my chin. They didn't place the lid on all the way. Once again my fault for not checking. Maybe it wasn't my day.
Awesome! Great food and people! My husband won't get bagels from anywhere else. The crumb cake is fabulous and they serve you a huge piece!

Their donuts put Krispy Kreme to shame. My family and I love the treats here. For my son's 4th birthday he wanted a donut cake and they made an aswesome tower of donuts for him and had it frosted just like a cake. He loved it!
This place was recommended to me by a friend. I live right down the road and didn't even know it was here. It truly is a hidden gem! Friendly service and good coffee make for a wonderful combination but what really sets this place apart is their selection of donuts. Fresh made and delicious! You can tell all the locals, except for me, know about how great this place is. People are even willing to sit outside in the cold and enjoy their food and coffee. I was especially impressed with the fact that they not only have soy milk as a non dairy option but they also have almond milk. Not too many places are willing to carry that. They have all of the selection of a large corporate coffee place. However it's small and quaint and hidden away. I will definitely be back to support this small local business and enjoy some amazing donuts and great coffee.
I came here after much recommendations from coworkers. They had brought in muffins and this delicious apple turnover. Both experiences have been heavenly. The muffins were exquisite and the apple turnover, my absolute FAVE! I finally had their breakfast and it wasn't my favorite but the donuts were really good! I had a croissant sandwich and it was too greasy. My husband had a burrito and the egg was a weird color and kinda bland. I wouldn't come back to eat breakfast but definitely come back for some more delicious sweets! The staff was so nice and welcoming. I would also come back for the excellent service.

Pretty Good! I have to admit that I am not a fan of "fried everything", but when you get the urge for fish/clam strips/shrimp/onion rings/fries, and you will be clogging up an artery anyway you really should eat the best, and this is it. Quality food, that is fresh, not frozen, cooked in high quality oil. Quality at the expense of economy, this is a dangerous combination for a young restaurant to attempt. We hope they can pull it off. The fries are crispy and light, the onion rings taste great and don't leave behind a puddle of oil. We had the haddock, which is served with a couple of different dipping sauces. It was great!, white, lightly breaded with a very nice batter, and not greasy. You actually taste the freshness of the fish. The slaw was good, but not special, but lowly coleslaw would have to do a Tasmanian tap dance on your taste buds to stand out from the flavor of the fish. There are numerous other items and combinations of items on the menu board, and to be fair I did notice that there are grilled items (non fried) being added to the mix. We got the feeling that this is a family affair. Ada was visiting with the guests, the kids (obviously quite young) were helping out and mingling with the diners, the cook, (Mr. Ada?) was also visiting and checking on the guests and helping refill drinks. Pretty refreshing and small townish in their approach to customer service. We liked it. No pirate hats for the kids, you won't use coupons for free hush puppies or an extra "plank" of fish, no fish tacos, (oh please Ada, never do that, it just isn't natural). It's a little hard to find, tucked into a strip mall sort of location on Indian School road at the end of Wigwam Road in Goodyear, Arizona, but well worth the trip.
Judging by the positive reviews, I really wanted to like this place. I won't go back though and here's why: *The fish and clam entree with fries and coleslaw was meh. Long John Silver's fish is better. The coleslaw had some awful seasoning, I threw it away after one bite. The clams were hard. *My intentention was to dine-in but the hot temps inside were too uncomfortable. I don't like sweat dripping off my forehead while I'm eating so I left my table and opted for take-out instead. *I requested and was assured extra tartar sauce but when I got home realized my request wasn't granted, thus had to go back out in the 107 degree heat and drive to a grocery store to get more sauce. *I was there about 4pm and quickly realized this was THE hangout for junior high kids who appeared to be just loitering inside and causing trouble as evidenced by the manager scolding them. Classy. *The service was ok considering the obvious lack of customer service training. Think "lemonade stand" caliber of service. Most likely their first jobs. One star because they serve bottled beer and it was ice cold.
3.5 Stars, but I believe it has the potential to increase. I really really like fried fish, so when I came across this hidden gem on Yelp, of course I had to give it a try. I've been here twice now, once on my own, and then another time to introduce my Hubby to it. The first time I went I had to search for the spot, because I didn't see the lit up sign facing the street (it's kinda small)...once you're in the strip mall, it's kindof hidden off at the end. Anyhow, I ordered the fried fish and fried scallops with fries and coleslaw - to go. The nice guys told me it's better to eat it there, so it wouldn't get soggy on the way home, but I was only going about 1 minute down the street, so I said it should be fine...They wrapped it up nicely for me and I hurried home! Let's start with the flavor...which is spot on! The flavor of the batter is so good. This is not a southern fried fish with a super crispy cornmeal batter, it's different, more of a flaky batter, but it's good! I really enjoyed the flavor of the batter and on the scallops it was very delectable :) I don't even eat scallops like that, and I really enjoyed these. My only complaint was that the batter comes off the fish and scallops super easy...I wish there was a way to fry it on there harder...Oh, and it's a bit pricey...I wanna say it was around 20 bucks for what I ordered, but from what I could tell, it's good quality fish and scallops and I think the owner has it flown in. The second time I went, I took the Husband and we dined in. He ordered the fish and chicken strips, which he enjoyed. I ordered the same thing I had the first time, fried fish and scallops. This time we ate there. The owner is really nice and personable and asked us if we wanted to taste a soup he and his chef were working on. It was a fish soup and it was quite tasty! When our meals came out everything looked great. But again, the batter isn't crispy enough and falls off the scallops and fish... :( I wish they could come up with a way to fix that. I love the texture of a crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish/scallop....Ada's, please fix that!!! Next time I go I plan on trying the fried shrimp, they look amazing. Sidenote, I love the fact that this is a small local business that actually cares and makes quality food. It's just what this neighborhood needs!!! Because Im sure Im not the only one tired of all these lack luster chains in Goodyear.

Food was excellent HOWEVER was totally disappointed when they allowed a couple in with their dog!!!!! isn't that some sort of code violation?!?!? Not impressed!!!
In a word: Delicious! Finally a good Chinese restaurant in the west valley! The flavors are fantastic. I haven't eaten such good Chinese food since I moved to Arizona 9 years ago. I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant.
YES!!! Finally a delicious Chinese restaurant on the west side!! I have been looking so long!! The noodles, spring rolls and cheese won tons were to die for!! They have amazing deals for lunch that you have to order some takeout! I came with my sis on a weekend and it wasn't packed at all. We got speedy service and a friendly waitress. I can't wait to take the hubs here. :-) I would recommend the noodles and won tons. Two thumbs high up!

This place has excellent food. It is family owned and operated and the service and food is exceptional. I've been going here many years and have never been disappointed. They make everything fresh and everything tastes amazing. Customer for life. Frank makes a custom item for me called the Eggplant Rollatini stuffed with red peppers and penne Vodka sauce. I love it!
Good food, friendly staff. This is the second time and probably the last time that I visit. Each time the cashier messed up on my order and the food cost much more that I anticipated. Today for example I ordered the eggplant hero sandwich but received an was charged for the full eggplant parmesan dinner. Previously ordered a delivery pizza when the pizza arrived the delivery man wanted my credited number an was going to write it on a 3x5 card! I had to call and inform the cashier that was inappropriate. The food is okay but too pricey. Cashier needs more training.
First visit here and we watched an employee eating wings then turn around, lick his fingers, wipe his nose and face with his hand and then serve people their food. Makes one wonder what is happening when the food is being made in the back if they are so unsanitary in the front.

This is a great little hidden gem of goodyear. Been coming here since the place opened and every time we come it had been nothing short of amazing and super fresh. The ice cream tempura is a must!!
When we started coming here this place was empty but slowly this place started getting busy. We enjoy the sushi here. The rolls are good and the sashimi is fresh. The kids love the steak teriyaki and the Japanese soda with the marble. The service is always good. People are friendly and nice. Try this place for happy hour as the sushi and rolls are discounted.
Tasty Japanese option with quick service Originally mixed this restaurant up with the Ah-So Sushi down the street and across the highway. But, after eying it and always seeing it busy, my wife and I decided to stop in for dinner with our baby girl. Service crew was quick to seat us, took our orders and brought us drinks, and were attentive throughout. The sushi was good-- our 1 year-old simply LOVED the cucumber sushi-- though the gyoza has very little to no meat. Edamame is lightly salted and comes warm. Wakame is excellent. And the main orders of combination udon hit the spot with a god mix of meats and vegetables with a nice, flavorful broth. Very fair pricing and just a tad away from four stars. I'll visit gain in the future to see if I should correct upward.

Great Pizza! Try the Cowboy or Herb Chicken Mediterranean. You can't get any more fresh than pulling it right out of your own oven. Super quality ingredients too, you can really tell. Great for me and my wife, plus leftovers the next day. The shop is always clean and the service is quick. Highly recommend.
Its pretty good. Very tasty and filling. I'd give it 4 stars but,I just wish there was a tad bit more sauce on their pizza's,and a little less doughy.
This place has really good pizza, especially their pan pizza. I noticed the amount of toppings you get as well, and it is way more then other pizza places so you're paying less for more. Plus it is all fresh what more can I say.

Great pizza, and great prices! My husband wanted a buffalo wing pizza and I only wanted a little bit of pizza but don't like buffalo sauce so they did a quarter of the pizza pepperoni for me and the man I spoke with on the phone was very polite and kind. I would recommend this location to anyone.
Great pizza. The only odd thing was employee was fixing a salad and using latex gloves to scoop her salad fixins in her bowl why does she think that's ok??? Did she walk out there and not touch anything before hand??
