Came in for breakfast before heading out of town. The $4.50 chicken fried steak breakfast special was more than enough food, if on the greasy side. The steak is probably frozen but it's not terrible. Hash browns seem to be freshly grated. They use real butter, which I prefer. Overall, decent but we wouldn't seek it out.

Me and my family stopped for breakfast and it was great. We had the breakfast special eggs, bacon, hash browns , and a pancake for under $5. Plus the service was great!

Great service but the compliment stops there. Very poor food preparation. Home fries were frozen and dry. Omelette was flat and over cooked. Something on the plate smelled of fried fish. Biscuit was dry and heavy. Will not be returning, obviously.

Whole family loved this place for breakfast. We found this place driving back home from sedona and it was a great find. Chicken fried steak with Verde sauce was excellent, pancake was moist. I would highly recommend especially with prices being so good. Table next to us had a gentleman that was 83 and he told the owner this was the best burger he's ever had...next time.

Got the breakfast special for $4.80 and it was delicious! Britni was super nice. My friend ordered hamburger that was amazing - juicy and cooked perfectly. Cheap, delicious, and affordable. Would I come back? Heck yes!

Great breakfast - strip mall location but big inside. Had chicken fried steak it was great. Husband had bacon and eggs with buckwheat pancake - everything really good. Great service. Would come back again for sure

Our motel recommended this place to us for breakfast, and it was excellent. In addition to delicious breakfast fare, the wait staff was great.

We went up to Cottonwood this weekend and stopped at Randall's for some breakfast. First impressions were good. The place was busy {always a good sign} but we didn't wait long to be seated. This place is in a strip-mall so I noticed and was PLEASANTLY impressed by how clean the dinning area was. Even better was the restrooms, which were clean and well cared for {sold!} On to the food and service: The server was prompt and friendly. I got some hot chocolate, it was rich and chocolatey with ample whipped cream and some chocolate sauce on top. It was delicious. With my hot chocolate I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich with sausage. It was served on sourdough bread, that was crispy and buttery. The cheddar cheese melted over my perfect egg and the sausage had a great flavor with the tiniest hint of spice, which I loved! The hash browns weren't crispy enough for my liking, but next time {oh yes, there will definitely be a next time} if I get them I will order them extra crispy. This is a great little joint to visit if you've never been before! I am definitely a fan!

I would've gladly traded my resort breakfast for this meal and the prices. We each got the breakfast special: 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a pancake. Each of our dishes were ordered to perfection where they actually know how to scramble eggs dry and cook them over medium. Pleasantly surprised by this strip mall breakfast eatery. The coffee however was watered down. Reminded me of drinking tea. A great stop outside of Sedona.

One of the best breakfasts that I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and lots of it. Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. I didn't eat lunch or dinner there but looking around the meals looked good.

Seriously cool, laid back vibe with indoor / outdoor bar seating, good drink selections and excellent wood~fired pizza. And this just 2 weeks after my Pizzeria Bianco experience. Main St. Cottonwood is a gem of Americana. Bocci is a great end of street gem. Truly.

We chose Randall's based on YELP comments and we weren't misled. The staff know all the locals and make visitors feel welcome. I found the brewed coffee watery so our waitress immediately brewed a new pot with double the grounds. Much better. I had the special: crab cakes Benedict. What a clever idea. I would have done fine with only one! Hubby had the half plate of chicken fried steak n eggs to be more than enough and thoroughly tasty. My biggest suggestion to the owner is to buy nicer flatware. Get something longer and with more heft. Why skimp on short junk forks?

Small town breakfast place where it seems like the locals and senior citizens go. Place was hopping. Came with the bf and his parents after a weekend in Sedona. Everyone liked their food except for me so I can't fault them for that. I did get the turkey burger which isn't exactly a strong point for most places. The turkey patty was processed and not good quality turkey meat. My bf had a regular burger and said it was really tasty. Both of the parents had breakfast and really enjoyed their meals. Service is good. Everyone seems to help everyone else out as we always had people coming to make sure we had everything we needed and drinks were full. Stop on by on your way back to Phoenix.

Stopped by here for breakfast, the place was hopping (always a good sign). We were seated quickly, and our coffee was served promptly. I ordered the Olympic Omelet, my hubby had the egg and ham breakfast. Both were very good, my hubby is really picky about his eggs being cooked correctly ...O/M whites cooked yolks runny...they were perfect. My omelet had plenty of feta, artichokes and spinach and also was really tasty too. The hash browns were excellent brown and crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked. I'm glad we live near enough to take a weekend drive to come here, it's worth the trip...having my husband happy with his eggs is a delight, especially since restaurants in Flagstaff can't seem to cook an egg to save their lives!

I can't find a better Chicken fried steak meaning the verde. Portions are huge and the flavors are always consistent.

Big portions...we got fish taco and tuna melt. Ave. taste. Side ingredients tasted like out of a can. Spacious place and friendly service but food ave.

The best service, food and price by far during our stay in both sedona and utah.. I'd recommend this to anyone staying here on vacation. One last thing Britini made the experience memorable......

Service great. Food not so much. Bacon hard in omelet, cheese very cheap hash browns 4/10 at best. Coffee weak. For a 4+star place I expected much more. I do not recommend.

We loved this place! They have great food at good prices. It is very spacious so I doubt anybody waits around to be seated (well, maybe Sundays). Service was excellent, food was great and the coffee was perfect! I would highly recommend this place to anybody. This place is what eating out is about.

Due to the rave reviews on Yelp about Randalls we made a special point of stopping by for breakfast. WOW, the food here is over-the-top delicious! I had the chili relleno breakfast and by far the best chili relleno's I have ever eaten. Pancakes were light and fluffy, just like they should be and the hashbrownns nice and crisp on the outside and warm and creamy on the inside.....perfect! Very friendly wait staff and very accommodating. When one of our party didn't care for her homemade hash because she doesn't eat green peppers it was immediately replaced with one without the peppers. Wish I lived closer as this would become my go-to place for awesome food!

We do a lot of camping at nearby Dead Horse State Park, so every trip we eat out a few times to break up the monotony of cooking and cleaning. Tried a few other breakfast places in town (Georgie's and Pepe's), and this joint is the grand prize winner. What sets it apart from the others? Well, it's clean and not dingy. The staff is uber-friendly. And, the food is really good! Ate breakfast there one day, and decided to return for lunch the following day. The eggs benedict were smothered in hollandaise sauce, as were my wife's biscuits and gravy. (Yuck... Not my deal, but I guess some people like that kind of gooey mess). Next day I had the chipotle mayo bacon burger, and it was really spicy and delicious. Peach iced yea was infused and not drenched with phony, sugary syrup. Nice change. Overall, a great local spot with exceptionally friendly service.

Loved the Breakfast. Tried the Meat Lover Omelet with Pepper Jack and Cheddar. It was so good, I ordered the same thing twice in one week.

Great breakfast and lunch. Agree with the other comment kind of loud but it's very popular so it goes hand in hand. If you are in the verde valley and are craving breakfast this is the place for you.

I really enjoy this place for breakfast. The coffee comes in huge cups and the waitresses are friendly. The food is very good; I'm a big fan of the buckwheat pancakes. There are two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. One, the interior is plain and a big noisy and two, the omelette's have slices of cheese instead of grated cheese. (Something I just find less than ideal in terms of taste) Randell's is one of the better breakfast places in Cottonwood.

Excellent local breakfast and lunch place. Food tasted good and was reasonably priced. They don't serve dinner.

This place was just about exactly what I was hoping it would be. The food was good, the portions were generous, the service was excellent, and the prices were about as I would expect at a solid diner. In my book, that makes Randall's an easy choice for a much-needed breakfast on the road. I ordered the house special chicken-fried steak with cheese and verde sauce, which came with two eggs, hash browns, and a nice helping of biscuits with gravy. Amy had a breakfast burrito stuffed with chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and cheese ("...although I didn't really see anything besides the chorizo, which is not much of a complaint") -- or rather, she had about half of a breakfast burrito before she couldn't eat anymore. Both of us were happy with the food, and both of us left feeling totally full. Perhaps more exciting than the food, though, was the coffee. In my mind, diner coffee is supposed to be god-awful: burnt, thin, and left on the burner for far too long. This coffee was not that at all -- it was (hold your breath) TOTALLY DECENT! The coffee was served in big mugs and refilled more or less constantly (under the guise of "warming up" coffee which was nowhere near cool). Thank goodness for this coffee. The staff was another major high point. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, with that much-sought-after hosting quality that makes you feel like a regular even if you're a Tucson city slicker just passing through town. All in all, I'd say you probably can't go wrong checking out Randall's for breakfast in Cottonwood. Just don't tell them Danny sent you, since they won't know who I am.

I used to live in Cottonwood and Randall is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met. My Dad and him are great friends and I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. The menu is also not your average diner food, entrees are unique in there own ways that you will not find many other places. Absolutely no downsides to Randall's

This was our first time in Cottonwood. They guy at our motel told us about the place. The service was great and fast. The food was awesome. Everyone in our party was very happy with their breakfast. The service people were attentive in clearing our plates as we were done and filling our drinks.

My wife and I had breakfast here before taking an excursion on the Verde Canyon Railroad. I had hash-browns, eggs, chicken fried steak with green chili sauce and biscuits and gravy. My wife had juevos rancheros. The meal was fairly average and a little on the negative side. The hash-browns were overcooked on the outside (to the point of having to be cut with a knife) and mushy on the inside with a little too much oil on them. The chicken fried steak was OK but I wouldn't say it was exceptional. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre. My wife said the juevos rancheros were pretty unremarkable... Not bad, but then again, not outstanding. The service was outstanding. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. On our next trip to Cottonwood we will probably try another restaurant, probably Georgie's (if it's still open) but we would eat here again.

Small town brekkie doesn't get better than this! They serve up all your typical coffee shop fare and they serve it up AWESOME. The service is always great (even when we wander in 20 minutes before closing) and while it's (as stated before) typical coffee shop food, it's always super tasty. I recommend asking for a hamburger steak with eggs for breakfast. I don't know how they season that bad boy, but I dream of it when i'm home in Phoenix....SO GOOD!!!!!

Tucked back by Woodys gas. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We like it when there is more than eggs and bacon to choose from. I had the Navajo taco ... Fry bread topped with eggs, hash browns, beans, cabbage and green chile sauce. Yum! I agree about the hash browns and it was the only blip - crispy on the outside and mush in the middle. Drinks stayed filled, waitress was always in the area and it was very clean we will definitely eat there again!

This is THE place in town to have breakfast. The waitresses are friendly and fast. The food is not greasy or heavy, has great flavor and they accommodate special orders like egg white omelets. Biscuits are great. We would definitely return here.

I love the decor in Randall's, they've kept things updated and clean. They have quite a selection of food (it can be overwhelming but good choices). Breakfast is good, the waitstaff is great- always cheery .

Meh. Tortilla soup was a salty mess. Chicken wrap merely fair -- nothing to warrant a repeat visit.
