Adorable little restaurant off the beaten path! Delicious home cooked meals. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and have a fantastic bar area. Lots of character is this historic little town. I highly suggest stopping by and checking it out, for some great food, great people and ice cold beer!

Super cute shack that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The highlight of our food was the green chili - make sure you try that if you come here. Daniel loved his bean chili and I thought my pork pulled sandwich was delicious! The waitress was so sweet as well as the locals that hang around the bar. This is a charming place that I wouldn't mind coming back if I ever find myself back in Chloride, AZ.

Bottom line: tasty food and super friendly staff. We were looking for a hangover cure on the way back from Vegas. Found the reviews and took a chance and I was very glad I did. We had green chile bacon cheeseburgers and they were great. Fries were hot and crispy and they even threw a couple of onion rings in. I will visit this place again

This funky little place is a great find... It sits right on the main drag in the little town of Chloride,AZ. The food was great and we got lots of it. All four of us ordered the BBQ sandwich, which came wit a big sid of fries and some very yummy coleslaw. The restaurant is small and full of an eclectic collection of items that decorate the walls and shelves, really neat place. The staff is super friendly and really appreciate customers coming by. Even Though Digger Dave's is off the beaten path, it really is a must stop if you are traveling U.S. 93 between Kingman and Boulder City.

Chloride is super friendly. I stopped in to Geocache & checked out the gift shop. The diner folk knew what I was up to!

Best burger I've ever had. Friendly survice, Dave and his wife are awesome hosts. If I ever find myself in Arizona again, I'll definitely stop in and see Dave again.

I LOVE this place!! BEST GREEN CHILI (outside of my Mother in Law's...lol) My husband Jeff and I discovered this GEM by complete accident. We were just sightseeing and stumbled across Digger Daves, Boy am I glad we did!! Dave and Dori are wonderful, very friendly hosts!! Great place inside with history! We WILL be back next time we are in the area.

A must see between Vegas and flagstaff. Cool nearly empty mining town, with a super quirky, self proclaimed 5 star restaurant. You'll enjoy the hand written menu of roadhouse staples. We had grilled cheese and a crispy chicken sandwich, both with fries. Very basic, but the atmosphere makes up for anything lacking in the food. I highly recommend using the men's room. Very humorous - enough said. Check out Digger Daves. You'll enjoy it.

This was an interesting place. We had already had lunch so just got some onion rings. They were mostly crunchy batter and very little onion. Not very good. Place itself is interesting and full of old memorabilia from history... It's like going to your grandfather's house. People here are... well... interesting. Come check it out for yourself!

Great little place to eat while doing trip from Las Vegas to Kingman Arizona. Who knew that this even existed. Chloride is a quirky little town in the middle of nowhere. Good to know its there in case you get hungry on the trip.

On a desert August day, our tour stopped at Digger Dave's in the morning; if it had been nearer lunchtime, I would have tried his chili verde. But it's never too early for an ice cold Modelo in a frosted glass! The inside of the restaurant/bar has walls and ceiling covered with desert artifacts. The restroom is sparkling clean. Dave is friendly, and so are the local folks sitting around, in a way that says this is obviously their home and not some tourist trap. Chloride is fun to walk around. Lots of good picture opportunities.

How I love Digger Daves and Chloride! I swear, this is the kind of place that makes me so giddy to be an Arizonan. Digger Daves is smack dab in the middle of this awesome little "ghost" town between Kingman & Vegas (way closer to Kingman). I discovered this place over spring break, and recently visited again over the weekend. I have found the people of Chloride to be warm and friendly, and the owner of Digger Daves is extremely friendly and welcomes you in. He showed my kids how to use the jukebox and play all kinds of crazy, funky old songs. Monster Mash, anyone? My kids love the place. There is old memorabilia and eye candy everywhere you look, but it's completely authentic and just fits in with what the old west is. About 4 miles east of the 93, it is definitely worth a stop for a snack, lunch, dinner, or a beer at the bar (not if you're driving though, thanks). I am quite shocked at how good the food is! This time we just had a BLT, fries, and a grilled cheese to split between us (it was a snack), and everything was really good. Service is friendly and efficient, it's just an awesome place. Bonuses: Sign your name outside on the deck with the magic marker they provide! Stop at the neighboring Ye Ol Shoppe for ice cream, walk around the old ghost town, visit the little museum (that is a whole different review, it's so great), and take the kiddos to the nearby Chloride Park with its old school teeter totter and metal slide (ok, so maybe not in the summer)... and you've got yourself one heck of a road trip break. Great photo ops too, so bring your good camera!

We drove to Chloride specifically to go to Digger Dave's about 2pm on a Thursday. The owner was sitting out front, and told us they were closed. Didn't offer an apology or what time they would be opening, just watched us leave disappointed. He seemed to be lacking both business sense and manners.

This is a must see authentic Arizona bar/restaurant! We drove into town right after the annual July 4th box car races. The whole town was out and enjoying a cold beer afterwards in the bar. There was live music and their BBQ was very good as well. I strongly suggest making this a must see on your drive to the Grand Canyon. You will not regret it!

We received wonderful hospitality from the owners of Digger Dave's in Chloride, AZ. We were just out for a day trip through Arizona and wanted to see the Ghost Town of Chloride. Well, it's not truly a ghost town but it is quite small. Our lunch was tasty and if I ever was in the area, I would go back.

Welcoming little place to stop on the way to the Grand Canyon! Green pork chili was delicious! Has a nice eclectically Arizona vibe and there was a very cute man playing live country music! If your heading down that way go for it;)
