Most times the chicken is good. Asking for it freshly prepared and it seems to be an reasonable request. Chicken can be quite good at times... Other half of store is TacoBell - sometimes okay for a snack. We avoid any TacoBell plastic cheese product, always.

We've been getting pizza and other meals from this Pizza Hut for about 8 years. The food is consistently tasty and it's ready for pickup at exactly the time they say. The staff is helpful, keeps us informed of any specials, and do their best to make the dine in service better quality . The managers have been there for several years; they treat their employees fairly. We have asked the workers It follows that a happy staff provides enjoyable meals to keep customers returning. This is a well run Pizza Hut.

Big Daddy’s Smokin BBQ

380 Butterfield Rd
Chino Valley, 86323
Reviews:
After reading a good review of Big Daddy's in the local paper, Chino Valley Review, I thought it would be a good idea to give them a try. I am no stranger to BBQ. I have lived in the South and have sampled BBQ from many famed regions. Big Daddy's fits squarely in the category of "nice try". Admittedly I only tried their ribs but that was enough to convince me that I will not go back. The main problem with the ribs was the excessive creosote flavor. It totally dominated the meat. They tasted as though they were subjected to the wood smoke before the wood had a chance to burn into charcoal. When asked by the waitress how the ribs tasted I mentioned the heavy creosote taste and she said they use local oak wood and it imparts that flavor. I believe her and stated that that's why I no longer use local oak for smoking meat at home. It is my experience that oak wood from this part of Arizona is not suitable for smoking meat. To me, the creosote level borders on toxic and I would caution people to not ingest a lot of meat smoked this way. The coleslaw and BBQ sauces were okay but ordinary. I don't believe that an experienced BBQ fan will be pleased with Big Daddy's product.
The people here are great, and there's outdoor seating when I want to take my dog for a real treat. It's not 5 stars only because of the availability and off-beat open hours. There's a few side dishes that I absolutely love (potato salad) and then others that are WTH (beans). They also have a really cool cash register.
I came here for the first time a little over a year ago and was blown away by the ribs! Since then, I've been gushing about them, but every time we come up to Chino they'd be closed already. I finally ate here again yesterday, even after hearing that they switch owners, and was disappointed by the food, especially the ribs. Nothing like it was in the past. Their pulled pork was actually good, considering I don't care for pulled pork normally. But nothing amazing. I could make better food at home. If I was forced to eat here again I would, but I wouldn't choose this place over other options.

A small, family run mexican restaurant. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for it in the nice people who own/work it. Very small, juke box w/mexican music...staff talks to you...nice folks!
Still delicious after 26 yrs in the same location: Taco Corner Mexican Restaurant. Family recipes made to perfection. Look for daily special on whiteboard, bargain price for it. Lots of take out orders as we enjoyed our lunch. Phone # recently changed.
I went to this restaurant with a friend and I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and he ordered a Carne Asada burrito. The female cook took both burritos and placed them in a styrofoam to go box and then put them into the microwave and cooked them for a long, long, long time. If the ingredients were fresh, it would've been way overcooked, so I believe that they must be making the burritos ahead of time and then freezing them and recooking them as needed. Regardless, no good restaurants use a microwave, it really defeats the purpose of a restaurant as you are expecting freshly made food. I have a microwave at home and frozen burritos that I can microwave at any time, this is not what I expect when I pay good money to eat at a restaurant. The bean burrito and carne asada burritos were marginal at best and with both of them the tortillas were very brittle from being microwaved and you had to use a fork in order to eat the burritos. I know it's a tough economy and it's difficult to make things fresh if you're not getting the numbers of people eating at the restaurant; however, poor quality food will ensure failure, so I hope they change their ways and start making fresh, made-to-order food.

Been going here for five years now, very good food and service every time we go. They are very busy on Taco Tuesday's. Great Tacos. I have liked most of the dishes I have ordered, but not a fan of their Chili Relleno, I agree with others it is a disappointment. Chili Colorado is very tasty. Enchiladas and tamales are very good. Who can go wrong with their cheese crisp? Great Guacamole.
Food is amazing. I'm kind of a Mexican food snob and we are always looking to find great little Mexican restaurants. Came here for lunch today and ordered the #1 a shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada with rice and beans. This place is awesome and passed the test. Great rice, great beans, perfect taco and enchilada. This place is no Taco Bell it is real authentic Mexican food. We will be back for sure! Been searching for real Mexican food throughout the area and this place is it! The service was awesome., waitress Alex was super nice. Also great huevos rancheros and margaritas. Great food, friendly service.
As the 3 stars indicate, we think it is A OK. We often have breakfast there on weekends, and the (free) coffee is better than most restaurants. The huevos rancheros is great, the machaca is great. the chips are top quality and the salsas are both great. Unlike a number of Mexican restaurants, both their hot and mild salsas are very interesting. Usually, one or the other falls short, but these are both great, just differing levels of hotness. The tostada is great, the beans are the best in the county. However, the tamales are pathetic, and the chile relleno is NOT a stuffed chile, for those of you who read Spanish. It is just some strips of green chile and cheese, with a bit of egg around or over it. More like an omelet. Those two shortcomings knock our rating down to 3 stars. The place is immaculate and the service is top notch.

I have been a return customer of the Beijing in Prescott and of Kelly's for 14 years and I have never had a bad meal. I was so pleased to discover she has opened in Chino Valley. A friend of mine and I went to tonight and the food was absolutely perfect, wonderful, scrumptious as always. The staff were attentive and eager to serve us and answered any questions we had. Plan on going back as often as possible
Had lunch on 3/24. The staff was very pleasant. 4 in our party, we all agreed that the food was great. Reasonable prices for the portion size. I was glad to find out that it was the same owner as Beijing Garden in Prescott. Their food there is good too.
Wait staff is very pleasant and attentive. Food is very and the portions are sufficient. Prices are reasonable.

I love Gabby's! Friendly staff and consistently good food. This is my go to spot for taking family when they are in town. I recommend the Club sandwich, it is huge!
My grandpa and I came here for breakfast before I drove back home. They were busy, but the service was great! We both ordered omelettes and they were great! When I come to visit him again I would deffinetly come back here.
I love this funky little breakfast place. Not pretentious in any way. The servers are fun and the place has great food. Not a matching coffee cup in the place.

Visiting family here from So Cal so used to great mexican food. This place was pretty good. I got the shrimp fajitas, lost of big juicy shrimp cooked just right tons of onions and bell peppers. Came with all the sides, everything was good. From what I can tell the tortillas or chips dont seem hand made, you get two small tortillas with your fajitas which wasnt really enough. The rice was good, my mom said the beans could have used some salt. The salsa seemed like it could have been canned with some fresh stuff thrown in. My mo got the seafood enchiliadas and said that if they left the stuff bigger it would have been good but the insides were chopped so small you couldnt taste anything. She said the sauce was good though. I would go back if I was in the area again, I dont have anything local to compare it to but I thought it was pretty good. The prices seemed fair we paid about $12 and each had seafood. I wasnt too impressed with the service, we were seated promptly but no refills on the drink without having to ask, had to ask for the check even after our table was cleared and the lady I paid messed up charging my card then printed the receipt slapped it on the counter told me to sign and walk away, though that was kind of rude. BUT it was Valentines day and I dont think they were used to being that crowded. Like I said, dont expect anything amazing but the food is good, the prices are a little high but I would go back. Oh if you care the decor is definitely dated 1980's seafoam green mexican indian design, not updated and not nice lol booths and tables, very casual and clean inside.
Had lunch here today with friends. Wonderful food and the waitstaff was very attentive.
A good hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Service was fast. Basic menu. Good for what it is.
