We had an exceptional meal last night. I had their special which was a chicken breast over rice and beans with a salsa on top and my wife had fried liver and onions. Both food and service were excellent.

2.5 I suppose. Nothing special. It had more business than the other places in town we passed. When we walked out I saw the RV Park Observatory (cool!), and the Safeway Super Market. Probably should have just foraged in there.

On our drive back to one of our former areas of residence in Arizona, we stopped at Galleano's for lunch. My wife had the patty melt and fries which she said was good. I had the angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and meat balls. My meal was good, but I have had better meat balls. The included bread stick was very ordinary, not even warm, and the salad was okay, nothing special. Service was very good.

Great for breakfast! We had a fun waitress (older lady) with a dry sense of humor. Six of us on motorcycles stopped in for breakfast and all of us loved our food. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes and the Egg, Cheese, Ham, Bacon AND Sausage sandwich - yes it included all three meats. Great service and great food - highly recommend!

We are so glad that this hometown favorite has reopened. We genuinely enjoy everything that we've tried (from chicken fried steak, to warm penne with chicken, to Gyros, to AMAZING Mediterranean salad and yummy chicken parm sandwiches, buffalo and plain chicken strips, spinach artichoke dip, burgers and on and on... ), but our FAVORITE thing to try here are the soups. They are simply delicious. They are so good that our even our 7 year old son has taken to ordering soup with his lunch, instead of fries! The more traditional flavors are amazing, but we are big fans of some of the more unique offerings, yesterday it was the Mexican Potato that had my husband and I both raving. The corn chowder is delicious-- and I've never even been tempted to try it before-- that was one I just tried on faith (based on my history there) and LOVED. The Zuppa Toscana by far surpasses a well known chain restaurant that serves the same. With three choices of soup each day, you really can't go wrong!

Pretty good, maybe a little on the salty side with the Marsala sauce. I think for the area your not going to find better. Service was friendly and attentive. The front was clean. The Decor? Oh well. If your hungry and looking for a good value you'll be satisfied here.

We wanted real food on a Sunday in southern Arizona. This was the first we saw and they only had two cars in front. We decided to try it. The food and service was great. I had the seafood Diavlo and it was wonderful. The only disappointment was the breads ticks. The salads were super fresh and made with good ingredients.

My husband and I are on a road trip and stopped here on our way to New Mexico. These places can be a bit sketchy but this place was AMAZING! The service was great and the food superb! Everything was fresh and homemade. My pasta was delicious! We highly recommend it!

Driving thru on our way to CA and stopped here for dinner. Absolutely delicious!! We had Zucchini soup, clam chowder, chicken Parmesan sandwich, fish special, and pasta with sausage. Everything was perfect and the place itself is very homey. So glad we found it and will stop thru again.

Great homemade Italian food and simple American. Went with my family on way back from Wilcox and it had a lot of cars so we decided to go in. Everything was delicious! My son had chicken Parmesan with obviously homemade sauce. I had a burger and my wife had grilled cheese which were great. They serve fresh cut fries instead of frozen. We heard the desserts were awesome but were too full to try. Will need to go back.

Great family restaurant. Best soups anywhere. Can be a bit crowded during snowbird season. Have tried many items on the menu and was not disappointed with any.

We just waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order just to watch a couple who came in after us get their order taken. We finally left. Plenty of other restaurants to choose from. Ambiance doesn't exist either.

If you're wanting to get back on the road any time soon forget it. Fell in here off the I-10 on our way back to SF. Zero ambiance unless your blind, deaf and dumb. 3 rude, incoherent waitresses wandering around in slo-mo BS'ing with the locals. Waited for 25 minutes at a table for service after being seated in this hole. The place wasn't even busy. They just watched without ever saying a word as we got up and left disgusted and amazed all at the same time. We found a great pizza place a few blocks away. R&R Pizza Express 161 Huachuca St. Best Pizza we'd had in a long time. 8/12/2015 Update - Was in Benson a few weeks ago, Galleano's has gone belly up. Surprise, surprise ! LoL

My food was ok, I had a steak and so e veggies. I really didn't want to eat carbs, I probably should have not picked a Italian restaurant right? My steak was cooked well and so were my veggies. My BF had the fish. Don't eat it it was taste less and very bland.

Stopped here based on posted reviews. We had their breakfast specials. They were reasonable. The food was perfectly cooked and yummy. The waitress was on top of her job and very sweet to top it off. The place was clean and comfortable. The decorations were charming. I'll go back there again on our way to California.

We are new to this area & decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We were not impressed at all. My dinner salad was served with a big ol' nasty piece of hair in it (yuk!). The prime rib, potato & veggies were average. My husband's "house made" fries were undercooked & his burger was mediocre. It looked like a couple of kids were doing all the cooking. They didn't look well groomed so I'm sure the cooking area was not sanitary.

Good thing we made reservations. It was very busy but when we got there we were seated immediately, they took our drink orders almost immediately. They let us talk and then took our meal orders. Our dinners were great; some of us had the daily special. Their ribs were very good. If I find myself in Benson again I would go there in a heartbeat

Got off the freeway looking for something not fast food and stumbled upon it. I loved that I was given fresh cut stir fried vegetables with my steak and mashed potatoes. Everything tastes fresh and home cooked. The cook came out and talked to me and some other customers which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
