Just had a marvelous breakfast. When we visit from Sacramento we always have breakfast there. Firstly it is very clean. The prices are fair and the waitresses have personalities plus. My omelet was good & more than I could eat. My friend had half an order of homemade biscuits & gravy. It was a huge serving. Must have that next time. Service was very prompt. What more could you ask for. Shirley

Got a sandwich here, and I thought it was VERY delicious and the prices were good as well. The lady that took our order and made the sandwich was very friendly and prompt, it was for a few hours later as we were heading out to the desert for a little joy riding fun, when we ate the sandwich it was perfect and I would highly recommend them! The lady here was very helpful and nice in answering any question I had about the ingredients,

Legit hole in the wall but not really hole in the wall bar. Was here after golfing at gold canyon..have never met more welcoming people or a bartender-David! Food was amazing- burgers grilled cheese and blue cheese potato salad is great! Everything is wood fired! Way better than anything in phoenix!!!! PLEASANTLY SURPRISED
Overall, decent place. Lets start with the positive - comfortable place, servers are adorable, and its an easy place to hang out. Food, is OK. The Southwest Chicken Panini is rock solid! Seriously, a great sandwich. One of the few drawbacks or negatives (which is easily fixable) are some of the cooking techniques on the veggies - hint* they shouldn't be soggy! My husband had one of the burgers - aside from the smaller size, the flavor was totally on point. I mean, REALLY great flavor! We have not decided if we will go back but still - all in all, not a bad place.
So, we were looking for a new place to try. After reading all the favorable 4 and 5 star recommendations we decided what the hell let's try it. I can only guess that the owners PAID people to make good reviews. Place is tiny, dark, stinky. They have no fountain soda and the food ALL tastes way to much of smoke. Really SEVENTY-FIVE dollars for dinner in AJ????? Wish they had minus stars because that would be my pick. NEVER EVER again!!!!!

I have been by this place so many times in the past but they always seemed to be closed or I was not in the mood for Greek food until last week. Let me start off by stating the facts on this place. It is in a small strip mall, the parking lot is small and does fill up quick given that it is shared with many other business including a daycare center. The main thing that stands out to me is just how popular this place is. The building is small yet during lunch time it is wall to wall people. So do not think you are going to run in and dash back out in a few mins. The prices are on the high side for what they offer as a meal ( a small fry, and 2 gyros) set me back almost 20. I ordered the traditional gyro (mixture of lamb and beef, tzatziki sauce, and onions) which was served on a nicely grilled pita bread. My friend ordered the chicken gyro minus the tzatziki and the fries I mentioned before. Once we got our orders we headed back to the house to eat as there was no room in the dinning room at the restaurant. Anyways my first bite of this great Greek style sandwich was full of flavor. The creamy tzatziki mixed with the spiced flavor of the meat and was great. It was one of the better Greek items I have had in a while. I only gave them 3 stars because of the price and the super long wait time between ordering and getting my food. If you are going to be busy like that during lunch time then hire more people or get the food out a little faster. Other than that I recommend this place to anybody who wants some nice Greek meat (reference from my big fat Greek wedding total chick flick but was actually pretty good).
We were moderately happy with the food. The pork was tender, plentiful and flavorful in the salad, but the veggies left something to be desired. The Philly Steak sub was out of this world, the gyro was only average. One the down side the lady at the counter was very patient with our ignorance of all things Greek on our first visit...not so much the second time, we asked for the fries to be crispy but they clearly weren't, I really hate eating with plastic flatware and the ice tea tasted like instant tea. But we will give it a 3rd try because there are other things on the menu we want to try including the homemade soup once the weather cools down a bit. We would love to see this place kick it up a notch because it has the potential to be a 'go to' place in AJ!
This place has really good gyros. The main reason I give this place three stars is because it's the only gyro place that does not have sriracha sauce, which is a must for gyros. The owners are nice too and they give the kids chocolate too:)

Made a second trip here and just as pleased as last time. Good and fairly straightforward food. Not that different from what Mom made - assuming mom made good everyday food. And, you can pretty much have your sandwich anyway you like it. Atmosphere reflects the straightforward nature of the food. Seems to be a mom and pop shop, Clean and pleasant with a Friendly staff. Five stars because what they do is fairly simple, but they do it well.
Decided to try the sandwich shoppe because of the good reviews. I didn't know it was there. Very clean place. Friendly people. I got the chicken, bacon, avacado. Very tasty. The iced tea was good. Fast service. I will have to try the ice cream next time.
Great sandwiches, hoagies, really decent bread. Good value for the money. Great take out shop.

The Arizona Opry is one of the finest entertainment venues in Arizona! I have been enjoying the food and wonderful shows for the past six years. There is a variety of different shows, ALL of which are terrific!! The musicians are multi instrumentalists and present music of all genres. The Barleens twins harmonize with siblings and play a variety of instruments. It is obvious they are accomplished musicians and vocalists. George, the musical director, was with the Tokens and their hit song was "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", a song he sings in most shows. The entertainer who sings and plays trumpet like Louis Armstrong is absolutely terrific. His "Wonderful World" brings tears to my eyes. The guy who sings "Unchained Melody" is super. One fellow does a superb impersonation of Willie Nelson. The meal precedes the show, and is very good. This dinner theatre is a "must see" !
I was looking for something different to do on our Tuesday date night and Googled "things to do in AZ". The AZ Opry 70's show popped up and I thought it was worth a try. We really enjoyed the show! The 10 piece band performed at a steady pace with an large repertoire of songs and no "OMG get this over with" moments. The performers were extremely talented and really enjoyed what they were doing. It was easy to get into the show and sing along. The food was better then what we expected with an A for the roast and a C+ for the chicken. The female singer also runs the kitchen, the sound guy is the bartender, band members collect tickets, etc. This is a family operation with 17 family members working at the venue so there is a vested interest in getting it right. The audience consisted mainly of 60+. Hubby and I were on the younger side. I noticed that younger children enjoyed the show, but the angst ridden teenagers next to us were miserable. Aren't they always that way? Just leave them at home - you will save money and have a better time. I am putting this on our "places to take out of town visitors" list. Go to the Arizona Opry and have fun.
My husband and I visited the Arizona Opry with our grandparents. We're in our mid-thirties and were definitely the youngest people there in a room of 500 people. I went with low expectations but we're leaving pretty impressed actually. The main performer (George) was amazingly talented and we could have watched him all day. Many of the other men were also terrific although I don't recall their names. They each perform multiple instruments and the music is a huge variety. We both knew all the songs except two so they stick to the most popular ones. Yes, it's a little cheesy but it was also cute and entertaining. Also, the food was delicious and like others noted, the portions were plenty. My only complaint is the one female singer from today- she was terrible. I guess she was one of the twins who actually owns the place so I feel like everyone knows she's a bad performer but she's the owner so who's really going to tell her? It was bad. She brought the quality of the whole performance way way down. Imagine one of Kristin Wiig's characters from Saturday night live that seems so over the top it's hard to watch then realize that's exactly this lady for real. When I asked my hubby what stars he would give them he said "4.5 or 5 surprisingly" but because of her we are only giving 4 stars. I wouldn't go there with a bunch of friends but when family comes into town and I'm at a loss for things to do, it's actually a good option.

I love hole in the wall places - this one is definitely it! I am very tempted to give it 2 stars - but because the food was very hot, fresh, and good, I had to go with the 3 stars. We met after my grandson's baseball game for a quick lunch on a Saturday. This place is nothing to look at from the outside, looks like a Taco Hut right off the beaten path of Apache Junction. There are about 5 tables total and a little bit of standing room at the counter. The best part was that they spoke English! We ordered our food and pulled some tables together since there was 7 of us. Here is where my problem started, BIG SIGN says "NOW WE HAVE AC!" Thank goodness I thought since it was 90 degrees outside! NO AC working today - Yes there was a wall unit AC at both ends, but I think only one of them was working partly. Just sitting there eating I was in a sweat! I can't do that, no matter how good the food is. My advice - come and take your food home! Or better yet eat outside if it's cool enough.
My wife and I are addicted to this place. Not much to look at, not many seats... but if you are looking for some good mexican food, this taco shack is awesome. I would even take it a step further and say they are better the bertos chains.
BOMB!!!!!! Enough said! I am super picky with mexican food too.

I went there after reading the Yelp reviews and because it was only a few minutes away from my families condo! I had the Carnitas and Fish taco one day and a Chorizo breakfast burrito the other day. All were really yummy and the ladies working there were very nice! If you're in the area it's worth a try and it's cheap. They also serve the breakfast burritos all day, a plus!
It's OK. I went there for lunch with coworkers. I was a little annoyed that we all ordered similar things and added Sour Cream, however, I was the only one charged for it, after I ran my debit card so I used change to pay. When we sat down to eat, everyone who had not been charged extra had sour cream and I did not. Only non Spanish speaking person... Just saying. In terms of just the food, the meat wasn't seasoned all that well, and I've had better at most Mexican restaurants
The carne asada burrito is DELICIOUS!! Customer service is hit or miss, but everyone has their off days. Great food!

Love this bar for NFL games! I have gone twice by myself and sat at the bar both times. Kaia (Kaya) the bartender takes great care of her customers! She also can keep her cool when people want different games on the TV screens - a calm lady who hustles. I would highly recommend for sports viewing, and it's a comfortable place for single women, at least during the games. It will be my go-to place for sports. I'm ready to try it for dinner and music as some other reviews like it for that, too. I'll comment on the food after I try something to eat :)
They have the best quesadillas here. I feel at home here with the service you know they really care about there customers.
I am puzzled by several of the very favorable reviews. As someone who likes to frequent local bars and restaurants, I gave the Mirage a try on several occasions. Each time the food has been greasy and far less than favorable. The lounge is less than clean. Although the the service has been friendly, it falls way short of being even remotely attentive. With this, the menu prices are indicative of a much nicer establishment. All things considered, I would not refuse to go back (especially given the lack of nearby options), but I would hesitate to do so.

A bunch of city folk (my family) heard about this place one evening and decided to give it a shot. It's located in the middle of god-knows-where and once the sun's gone down, it was certainly more of a trek than I am accustomed to. Once you get inside, though... man alive, you will be rewarded. The atmosphere is hilarious, the service really down-home friendly, and the mountains of meat they cart out and drop in the middle of your table are extremely special. And the sauce... oh what a fantastic sauce. Come hungry, leave the snobs and vegetarians at home, and you won't regret finding the Mining Camp.
Good experience, ok food. Did family style meal. Ribs were drenched in sauce...way too much. Chicken and dressing good. Ham nothing to write home about. Cookie for desert was good. You get plenty of food for he money but it is mediocre food. Restaurant and experience was nice. Good for one time but probably try somewhere else next time.
horrible customer service !! With the exception of the two ladies up front. We had never been there before , we arrived at 1:41pm and around 20 to 30 minutes later the Server stopped by again asking us what we had ordered, confused. Not to mention he did not write down what we ordered the first time. An hour passed , meanwhile people around us got their food within 15 minutes. Finally we decide to ask , and after asking the server seemed confused. We did ask for a manager, and attempted to provide feedback , however was not willing to listen to us. And pretty much called us liars... Food was ok , service not so good :-/
