Happened to stumble upon this hidden gem after visiting the farmers market across the street in the Anthem park. I have to say that out of all the donut shops in the valley this by far is the best. Wife ordered a cinnamon crumb... Outstanding light and full of flavor. Daughter ordered a Raspberry jelly filled... also light and airy filled with the perfect amount of jelly. Now the homerun, the killer donut here is the maple glazed long john. Holy... well you supply the next word. Without a doubt the best donut I have every had. Better then the chains. Just go you will be happy you did.

Great food and tasty donuts! Very nice and friendly people working here. They even opened their doors for two deputies, way before they opened in the morning. I thought that was nice.

I live in Glendale and I travel all the way to anthem just for these heaven sent donuts. I go here at least once a month and it gets better and better each time. These people mastered the donuts. If you are feeling fancy they have a 9in donuts that you can order a day before. The pricing is very fair and everything about this place is amazing, they just need to do deliver so I don't have to drive up there anymore.

I have been stopping in every Friday morning for the last year and never disappointed. Their breakfast sandwiches are their secret super awesome menu item that always brings me in and they really know how to make a croissant! The ladies are super nice and always have a fantastic selection of fresh doughnuts. PS- call in advance for your sandwich so that it will be done when you arrive- they are hand cracked eggs, bacon cooked on the spot and prepared when you order so it takes a while if you don't call!

Tried this place for the first time. The maple bars are incredibly soft and delicious. My wife has very high donut standards and even she said this was right up there with some of the best we've ever had. There seemed to be a wide variety of treats available here, but we just had the maple bars. Darn, we'll have to go back now...

A guy at work has brought these donuts in several times. I usually pass on the sweets but they are really out of this world. Best donuts I can remember having. Take that as you will as I'm no expert on sweets but I stand by saying these donuts are absolutely delicious. Good thing this place is way up in Anthem and not next door to me. I really wish he'd stop bringing these in already. Just had a buttermilk donut that was decadent, sweet, sugary, and fresh. If you like donuts you should try it. If you dont like donuts you should try it.

This place is fantastic. The donuts are fantastic especially the mini crullers (Sunday only - get there early!). The staff is wonderful and always interact with my kids and give them something special. It's a personalized service you just don't get from the large chains.

Their donuts are by far the best I've had. Rainbow or Krispy Kreme have nothing on Sweetheart's! Their donuts are so fresh and soft! If I could, I would eat it everyday.

This has to be my favorite donut place (maybe just after Rainbow Donuts off Greenway and Cave Creek Rd). There's a huge selection, they always taste fresh. Only negative is that sometimes it's hard to understand the workers because some aren't native English speakers. So I've gotten a wrong order before.

I'm the kind of guy who just cant get my day started without a cup of black-as-tar coffee, and nothing compliments coffee better than a good donut! Sweethearts has a great variety of many delicious donuts. Of course Walmart, Fry's, Safeway, and the like all have bakeries, but none compare to the selection and quality of Sweethearts. Service is always excellent as well! Although their donuts aren't the cheapest, I'll remain a loyal customer as long as prices don't creep any higher.

Custard filling is bland. Also, lately their donuts have been making my tummy sick. First time I thought it was me then bought more later in the week and sure enough my tummy was very upset again. I ended up throwing nearly a dozen donuts away. :(

Ok so Im a resident here in anthem our family has 3 kids. My friend told me about this place before I even moved up here,which used to be a resident also. At first I was sceptical about trying a hole in the wall donut shop in anthem, but omg! best donuts I have ever had! I've had alot of donuts even in other states,and this place by far is the best ever! But be careful cause these donuts are easily addicting! I would actually go to the gym and hit the donut shop on my way home. The staff is great! they practically know our family by name which is pretty impressive! Highly recommended! = )

We have made this place our Saturday morning tradition. If you get there early, the donut selection is incredible! They are melt in your mouth delicious, and very reasonably priced. We always buy 1/2 or full dozen. The leftovers are great dunked in coffee the next day!

Just took a stroll to Sweethearts after hearing all the great reviews. Man, is everyone on point about this place! I bought two donuts -- one original, glazed donut and an old fashioned donut. The dough and texture on the original glaze is so fluffy and wonderful. The glaze was just enough. I hate places that over glaze donuts and it is not overly sweet. The old fashioned donut was delicious! The texture of the dough was simply perfect! Definitely can't wait to go back! The hours are pretty nice 5am - 2pm! Friendly service, too!

The workers there are always super friendly! Not only that, but their donuts are so tasty and fresh! They have a biggg variety. You can usually get a dozen for $9.00 :) I'm a regular there now
