I had the 3 meat combo on my way to Dallas. I got to say the food here is surpsingly delicious. Its right next to a Flying J and saw it when I was fueling up. Definitely recommend this place!

Stopped here on a road trip that took me through Texarkana. The restaurant is a little hidden adjacent to the truck stop, but worth the search. The service was friendly and prompt The ribs and pulled pork were excellent. The sauce is also great. Not to sweet, not to spicy. Just right.

I felt like I was in a non-violent Tarantino movie. Behind the Love's travel plaza, the drive was through a dirt parking lot of water-filled potholes past an auto shop with 40-year old rusting parts laying by the door. The restaurant itself looked the part of a never-inspected cafe in the middle of Arkansas. The interior was not a surprise, either. It was early semi-truck motif with old mud flaps trimming to tops of the walls and license plates scattered elsewhere. The waitress was nice enough, but we didn't see her enough. And the food. Well, this is the part where the characters in the Tarantino movie begin to die. The brisket was good enough, but where is the smoke flavor? Some BBQ restaurants hold back on the smoke, but my thought on this is "Why have a BBQ restaurant?" And then there were the ribs. Oh, my. After my date picked through the ribs to find about two ounces she could eat, all that was left was fat, bones and cartilage; a three-inch-high pile of rendered fat. I'm not kidding. So I shared my dinner with her while we waited for the waitress to return...and waited...and waited. She was busy tending to other patrons except there were no patrons other than a single trucker who sat at the bar and talked with the owner/manager while the O/M played a video game. And we waited. After several more games of whatever on the O/M monitor, the waitress showed up. I pointed to the plate of pork renderings and said, "I'm not paying for that." She fetched the O/M from the video game who offered us more ribs. I declined. He discounted the price and settled down to a new game of Pong. I always like eating at places like this because they usually make up for the lack of accoutrements with great good. This is not one of those places. Also, I never hold bad food nor service against any restaurant for long because anybody can make a mistake, but these people showed absolute indifference to us. .

Stopped here on our way from Little Rock to Dallas and i'm glad we did. Lots of truckers were inside the restaurant too. Absolutely killer barbeque, I got the 3 meat combo with Pulled Pork, Brisket and Ribs, all were awesome, definitely hit the spot, much more than a Subway or whatever else we could have stopped at. Also had some banana pudding which the owner had to fix up for us because he didn't have any ready. I had a little trouble finding it initially, It's behind the Flying J in a Red Barn. If you're driving through Texarkana definitely make the stop here to get some grub.

The food was great! I had the Pulled pork and brisket plate with fried okra. The building is located a little off the road behind a truck repair facility.., look for the name painted on the roof. The building is a little dusty on the outside, don't let that put you off.. The family owned restaurant is friendly and cozy inside. I will stop here again on our next trip through the area...

My son and I stopped because of a Yelp review. Food is excellent, service was great and the place was clean. Can't think of anything more you could as for. Oh yeah, one more thing they aren't going to take your shirt! Food was priced reasonably.
