Not from Sherwood, but was in the area on 6/13/15 and stopped for lunch. The young lady who greeted us stated she had only been there one week, but she was very friendly, knowledgable, and worked hard to provide good service. The dining room is clean - a simple design that is very charming. A comfortable cafe' feel. We ordered a beef roast sandwich and the 1/3 pound burger. Both came with homemade chips, and we ordered the fresh cut fries as a side (for $1.99). The food was outstanding - cooked to perfection and tasty. The beef was tender, the burger was juicy and full of flavor and the fries had a light seasoning. For us, the best part was NOTHING was over-salted. The meat didn't need any sauces of any kind. Prices were good - we were pleasantly surprised. Thanks TS!

Stopped for breakfast before heading into work. Nice building and good location. I was the only customer at the time. Ordered the breakfast with eggs, bacon, cheese grits and biscuits & gravy. Came out quickly. I don't know if the gravy is homemade but it was good. Everything cooked as expected. Good price. Didn't try any desserts. They looked good but it was too early for anything that sweet.

I gave them a 4th chance after good break from them. Their food has always been great, but the service was horrible!! I can proudly say they have button downed & fixed their service!! The young man who took my order was friendly and brought my food promptly to the table! I'll come back sooner!!

I went here with a friend for lunch today and we both enjoyed it. The food was really good and tasted fresh. The chips tasted homemade

I've been waiting, and contemplating this Yelp for a few good weeks. Now I feel it's time. I visited Two Sisters for possibly the last time, and it saddens me deeply. I had such high hopes for this small business. My complaint isn't about customer service, but about good business practice. I went inside this time, because I had some time on my hands. I was going to order a late breakfast, and a coffee. Then..., I saw dessert on the menu, and was quite intrigued. Too bad I wasn't able to order the strawberry filled pastries that had me drooling... I was told they hadn't made the croissants yet. I didn't get it. I can't have it...? Because someone hadn't made the croissants yet that morning?! **It was 1030 in the morning... I know there's been time.** I kindly said it was okay, and ordered my breakfast sandwiches and coffee. As I was listening/watching a little training of the new Barista. I couldn't help but notice how sloppy the area around the espresso machine was..... Not sloppy to the point where I was concerned for my drink, but enough for me to notice the unclean conditions. I digress... I guess 2 out of 3 on the menu isn't bad... But wait! I'll put it this way 1 out of 4 of my visits has been disappointing. My inner fat kid had it's heart set on that dessert, and subsequently that also ruined my breakfast. I guess I'm easily affected, but then again if you're offering a simple product. It should simply be available. I was talking to a buddy of mine, and we had the same idea. How about a "Rolling Menu"? I've been debating this review, but I feel it's high time it has been posted. I had to figure out how to put it lightly, but I feel lightly wasn't the case this time.

Service was great and so was the food. I had a burger with the homemade potato chips and I ate every bite. My companion had the strawberry romaine salad, which she said was yummy. I also had the Ding Dong cake for desert, which was delicious. Highly reccomend!

This was my second visit to this place. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with their homemade chips. It was so good. My first visit, I ha their daily special, turkey with dressing, which was also delicious. The ambience is great with nice old folks music. All the food seems fresh when presented at your table.

Good food. Horrendous service. I have had their catered food on numerous occasions, and it has always been quite good. The desserts are outstanding. I simply cannot understand the difficulty in providing customer service in the storefront. Of three trips to the cafe, each has been met with punishingly slow service, even though there was no crowd to serve. If you love the food, have it catered in, otherwise you will want to scream in frustration.

The desserts are amazing. The food is good. It's a new business...give them a break! Compared to the many chain restaurants in town their service isn't any worse but their food is WAY better.

This was my first visit and I was quite underwhelmed. The menu is small, which is fine, but some of those few items were not available...like soup. When I asked what the soup of day was, the woman taking my order looked confused and said, "I don't think we have any today." There are no vegetarian options, but I saw a southwestern salad that looked promising, so I ordered it without the chicken. The menu listed all the ingredients in each salad. The southwestern salad did not list cheese as an ingredient, so I did not ask them to leave it off. When it arrived, there was a huge pile of cheese on my salad. I told the waitress the menu did not list cheese as one of the salad ingredients and she told me I was wrong. I told her I was quite sure, but she just walked away. I was able to scrape off most of the cheese. A few minutes later she came back and said the menu had a misprint and should have said there was cheese on the salad. At that point, she did offer to replace it, but I'd gotten most of the cheese off already and I didn't want to wait longer than I already had. I was eating with a party of four and our food was brought out one plate at a time over a 10 minute time frame. So, those who got their food early had to either feel awkward about eating while others waited or let their food get cold. And, one person in our group got the wrong food. But, she was the last one to get her food and she decided to just eat what she got. The food itself was pretty good, but the service was so poor it is unlikely I will hurry back any time soon.

I was very hesitant to try Two Sisters after reading all of the mixed reviews. I really wanted to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, and I'm glad that I did! I took my in-laws and my toddler to grab a bite here on a Monday afternoon around lunch hour. The restaurant was busy, but I think the wait was only around 10-15 minutes for our 3 sandwiches and children's meal to be served. They did mess-up our order by adding mayo to my mother-in-law's sandwich and forgetting my son's cookie, but not a huge problem - easy fixes and not deal breakers for me. The issues were handled very graciously by the staff, good customer service! My chicken salad sandwich was served on a fresh croissant and was really good, I also really liked the homemade potato chips. I was also impressed that my son's order off the children's menu (chicken tenders) were hand-breaded pieces of chicken breast, and not the frozen chicken nuggets that he gets at most places. He gobbled them up, and he's a tough critic! We did not have dessert, but it appeared they had a good selection available on the day that we ate there and they all looked delicious. I recommend giving this cute little eatery a try, the service might be hit or miss but I had a good first visit and will gladly be dining here again.

I think this place is great. They have good, fresh food with daily specials. The menu is small but plenty to choose from. Their desserts are awesome. They will sell out of certain desserts, so sometimes it's hit and miss with certain desserts. I love their cookies!! I also support local owned business.

Updated post - I went for lunch during the week. Service was fast and food was great. I'm wondering if the service problems are on the weekend.
