Stopped in to one of our favorite dining spots this weekend. And visit with Debra...one of the best servers in NW Ark. After my last review I've noticed the menu has changed a little, for the better I might add. They reinstated a few old favorites and added a few new ones. The one thing you can count on with this Mimis is consistency, in the food and the service. We don't get in here as much as we once did but it's always a great place to relax with good food.

The wait was horrible, when half the restaurant had empty tables. Could not get refills on drinks and portion sizes keep getting smaller with prices getting higher!! Good was just ok, my West Coast Ruben tasted like two pieces of bread. The only saving grace was the bread before lunch came.

Need more staff. Good food. Edited: ok, I still think too many tables sit empty due to not enough waiters, but I also want to complement the hands on manager and the way he handled our situation today! If your breakfast is ANYTHING close to as good as these muffins are I can't wait to come back!

Mimi's is very good for what it is and great for a simple quick lunch Told the waitress we had a plane to catch and she was quick and efficient Had a tasty salad as well as my guests The muffins were good as well For a quick light or hearty lunch for a low cost this place is a fine place to eat Also it is near lots of shopping at the Promenade

While the food was OK the waiting and service was so slow. We waited 15 min for a table and half the restaurant was open tables. Then it took 5 minutes to get a highchair after we were brought to the table. The waitress was really nice and appologised multiple times but nothing sped up. Our drinks took more than 5 minutes, and the bar didn't know what a White Russian was?! It was 6pm on a Saturday night, so I'd expect a restaurant to be much more prepared for the dinner rush. While the food was fine, we had to rush through eating as the baby was just not going to wait anymore. We even saw a few tables of people get up and leave after they were sat as there was no server helping then. This place has potential but we're going to pass next time we're in the area.

So, so good! We were a party of 8 for dinner and happened to have the pleasure of having Peter as our server. He was great! The food was delicious, too. We had the salmon, chicken pot pie, cheeseburger brioche, chicken cheddar mac, steak, fish and chips. All of our choices were great!

My family went to Mimi's for dinner on a Thursday evening and it was great! I've read some of the reviews and our service was excellent, there was no wait time, and the food was awesome. I had the roast beef and it was delicious - it was fork tender and seasoned perfectly. I would get it again. Everything was reasonably priced and the portions were just right. We got an order of four muffins to go and they were also excellent. They are huge! The manager even stopped by our table to see if we were satisfied with everything. I loved our Mimi's experience and highly recommend it; I'm looking forward to going there again.

My family came here for breakfast and lunch.... Everything was amazing. Great atmosphere, and food. The mimosas aren't bad either ;) I recommend this place to anyone in the area!

French Cafe. Setting is a bit odd, I couldn't quite figure out the decoration/design. Understaffed. 10 minute wait and plenty of tables open. Meaning not very much business? Food was okay. A bit overpriced. Server was great. Very friendly. Probably won't come back.

I've only been here once and won't bother going again. The food was okay, but it was overpriced considering how small the portion sizes were. I spent about the same or more than I would have at a comparable restaurant, but I left feeling hungry. To make matters worse, the service was painfully slow. I spent so much time waiting for the food, the l least the waitress could have done would be to make sure our drinks were full. Instead I wasted a bunch of time feeling thirsty and hungry.

We had a challenging group of 10 for dinner with two children under 3 and grandparents and parents. Four related family groups with a wide variety of tastes and preferences from fish to hamburgers to 'Frenchified' food and wine. Mimi's accommodated us all, although not without a small glitch or two. Our waiter and the other staff who helped were always smiling and efficient, and our table for 10 with 2 high chairs was ready when we arrived. We were not in a hurry because we wanted to visit, and the bread (excellent combo of small hot baguettes and sweet bread) arrived in time to keep the kids happy. Everyone seemed very happy with their food and drink and I thoroughly enjoyed my French Pot Roast. The manager approved our discount coupons and told us they appreciated our patronage. A great place to take a group with a wide variety of food preferences - everyone will find something they like on the menu. Service was very good and they obviously wanted to meet our needs and keep us happy customers. We'll be back.

This was our first visit to Mimi's. Our server was Della, and she did a great job of seeing to our needs. Always there to fill a glass and bring our food. Since we were new, she described and recommended different dishes for us. We started with the most wonderful meatballs in a very tasty tomato based sauce. Not stingy with this appetizer. There were 7 large meatballs served with buttered crostini bread. The French onion soup was thick and very tasty. Plenty of cheese on top. The giant crouton was at the bottom of the bowl, held down somewhat by all the abundant onions! Beef Bourginon was a hefty size and very hearty. It is essentially a French stew of beef pieces, mushrooms, carrots and pearl onions cooked in a brothy wine sauce. Turkey and dressing was outstanding. White meat that was moist, tender and very flavorful. The dressing was southern style, made with cornbread and chicken broth. Mashed potatoes and yummy gravy served along side crispy green beans. Since we were first-timers, we were presented with a free cupcake duo (giant ones, I might add) to take home and enjoy. For those people who can't stand to wait more than 5 minutes for food, they should shuffle on down to the nearest McDonald's!!

HORRIBLE Service! Waited in the cocktail area at a table for 30 minutes and bartender would not acknowledge our presence. Finally left and won't be back.

Average brunch/lunch food; nothing fancy. Gets packed pretty quickly but the wait wasn't unbearable. If you're expecting a large group, I would recommend reservations. I had the strawberry/walnut/grilled chicken salad and it was good. Others in my group went with breakfast food which they all seemed to enjoy. Mimosas were about $7 and they allow you to keep the remainder champagne from the mini bottle so it's kinda like you're getting 2 mimosas for the prices of one. It's on the outskirts of the promenade so I'll probably eat there in the future either before or after shopping.

I was wowed. Great breakfast sandwich. Needs originality on Bloody Marys, but I will come back.

Today I went to Mimi's Cafe for the first time (although I live nearby). The experience was excellent. The place was pretty packed (Sunday around 1pm), but still my two friends and I got seated right away in a well located booth. Our waitress was really friendly, she recognized my friend from the day before (he had been having lunch there), and asked the rest of us if it was our first time there. Since it was mine, I got a box with freshly made delicious muffins as a gift. The service was friendly and fast, the food came out quickly and was really good (I am a big fan of eggs Benedict and I really liked these) and the atmosphere was nice. I will definitely have Mimi's Cafe as one of my restaurants of choice from now on.

We waited 30 minutes today for scrambled eggs that never arrived. Either they were grossly understaffed or just grossly inept. We ended up just walking out in disgust, and when I mentioned it to the hostess, her response was "okay".

Love this place. Everything I ever had was really good. Their muffins are usually awesome and so is the rest of their food. Service is great, and pretty quick for lunch even though they get packed. It almost has a diner feel, but nicer

Mahi-mahi tacos??? C'mon... Yes! They were great. The waiter was just a tad over the top picking up the straw wrappers (not the first time one of my dining companions had heard that...creepy) but basically good service EXCEPT for bringing everyone who ordered quiche the same quiche??? The muffins looked amazing, I was coveting a lemon-poppyseed but stayed on the wagon with my shark tacos. YUM! Great shopping center as well. Did a good job with splitting the tickets up (5 diners, 4 ticket, ugh, know we were a server's nightmare) and overall prompt service.

Great service. OK food. I really enjoyed the deep fried pickles. The salads have room for much improvement. They lack flavor and use too much ice berg lettuce. I was with a group of four and all agreed on a 3 star rating for Mimi's.

Had lunch today. We got there about 11:30, our party of 4 got a table as soon as we walked in the place. Three of us got the soup and salad, one had a salad. I had the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. I was the only one that got exactly what I ordered. One of the people asked for the tomatoes to be held, the others both asked for half salads, the waiter up sold them both to croissants, telling them that they would be able to then each get a half. Well when it came out, our waiter blamed it on a language barrier on the cooks. But when we got our bill, you could see that he entered as a full sandwich. Oh well.

Not sure why the negative reviews. We've eaten here twice in one week while visiting Rogers. Our meal tonight was fine, and so was the service. We had the roasted turkey dinner with broccoli, mashed potatoes, dressing and cranberry sauce. We've had this same entree at other Mimi's restaurants, and the quality here is the same. Our server was courteous and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Two nights ago, we split the Cobb salad (which is huge). The kitchen split it for us, and we had more than enough for dinner along with the great bread basket they bring you. I can't complain. Decent food and quality. Service was fine.

Meh. It's an overglorified Denny's. Read Anissa T.'s review of the service and you'd be spot on for this trip, too. Our server was Keith and he seemed to have had better things to do. He was trying to be witty with us, but was came across as douchey. The breakfast was just OK (fried eggs and fruit). Would have preferred some lunch options at 10:30 a.m., too. I mean, this is Denny's, right? I don't think I'll go again. Seems like a place the blue-hairs would enjoy after sitting in a pew all morning. Meh. Pros: -- Cons: service; food

The service and blacken Caesar salads my wife and I had were very good. Price was fair and portions were large .

I was anxious to check out Mimi's after it opened after eating at one in California. I talked the hubby into changing his normal, same-ol, same-ol breakfast routine to head to Mimi's. I spent many years waiting tables, and so I probably have a few too many pet peeves when it comes to service. But Mimi's hit a few of them spot on during my first visit to this location. First - waiting, waiting, waiting, after being seated without a single acknowledgement while wait staff passes your table by. Second - after you have waited so long before being acknowledged that you have decided on your order, reconsidered, decided again, and closed your menus and looked bored until the server finally surfaces. What does he say? Not "sorry you've been waiting, looks like you are ready to order, what can I get for you", but something more like, "Hi, I'm Bob. Would you like something to drink?" Nope, Bob, that was 15 minutes ago. Third - after the meal, sitting with my dirty plate in front of me. The server makes 4 trips to the table to ask if we're ready for the check, deliver the check, take the credit card, and return it - and I am still sitting with my plate in front of me. Another trip in for lunch provided better, but only average service. In terms of food, best bets are the special breakfast entrees, fresh quiche, the salads, and of course the wonderful muffins. I did like the combinations offered at lunch with the smaller portions of an appetizer and salads. Not the top of my list, but I'm sure I'll give it another try at some point.

In the new Promenade shopping center, Mimi's is a great place to meet friends or family. I was here with two others and really enjoyed the visit. Comfortable seating and excellent service. Our food was prepared well and allowed us to enjoy a relaxed pace. Drinks were refilled constantly. Very good portions and the desserts were excellent. I will definitely be back!

Good food, solid choice. Recommend for breakfast or brunch rather than lunch or dinner.
