I'm sure this restaurant is loved by all, just not me. I don't like the ordering and food pickup system at all. The burgers remind me of my sweet ole momma's cooking. She burnt everything. A 2 ounce patty smashed out as thin as possible will burn every time as soon as it touches the heat. Black and crunchy is just not my idea of a great burger. The fries are too thin for me and I'll just skip that funny fry sauce which is just odd. Much to my surprise the custard is good but I guess I just didn't know what custard is. Honestly, I don't like the word, custard. It's like heavy Dairy Queen but I still prefer the lighter Dairy Queen. In my opinion, just a bad imitation of Steak and Shake.

Had lunch here today, but only because my wife likes it. I always have grease on the roof of my mouth after eating their fries. I had the chicken sandwich and thought it was bland and chewy, like it had been microwaved. The community obviously likes the food because they seem to always be busy and its hard to find parking or a table. Today we stood near a dirty table for several minutes trying to get someone's attention to clean it, but I had to finally go back to the register and ask if someone could clean it. A middle aged guy came out, but cleaned another table before coming over to clean the one we stood by. Then he seemed annoyed because we asked that it be cleaned. IMO there are better places to spend my money, but I'm sure I will be back for my wife.

Like a homemade burger. Two thin patties with melted cheese and a grilled bun and of course the Hatch green chile. Thin crispy fries. I love it!

Fast food for certain, but delicious fast food. I recommend the patty melt and the oreo ice cream sandwich.

To me this place is trying to be In & Out burger but not as good. The burgers are alright, but as others have said they are thin. Still pretty tasty though. The fries are thin and small. I like their seasoning you can put on it. The special sauce is just thousand island by the way. If you hate thin fries get the onion rings. They're really good for fast food onion rings. And yes, the custard is very yummy. The peanut butter cup and banana thing is SOOO delicious.

Fries are good but nothing outstanding. So thin they are difficult to dip in the fry sauce. But......the burgers are the star of the show here!!! Hot, fresh, made to order and very tasty! I eat lunch here at least twice a week for a reason!

interesting concept in the super thin crispy burgers, but not really for me. buns aren't toasted, and seemed like potato bread, again not really for me. lettuce is just iceberg cut into 1" squares so tends to fall off the burger. wasn't presented cheese options so got American. also I do not like shoe-string fries at all. for $8 I could have paid an extra dollar and got a real 6-8 oz grilled burger at a sit down joint. just overall not impressed, and I likely won't return.

Just tried this new place in Fayetteville. Absolutely the worst burger I've ever had and I'm in my 60's! Cold, dry string fries, a dry meat wafer of a burger, with no flavor. I got the California burger and thought about the current drought the whole time. Thank goodness I got some iced tea to wash it down with! Lots of burger places springing up all over town hoping to capitalize on nostalgia, but I think this place, for one, will be short lived. For new customers like me, I'll just keep driving cause there's prob 3 more buger places a few blocks away, or I'll get a frozen burrito I can microwave at a convenience store and save the $7 bucks. Seems like there will be several corner locations for sale or lease in the next few years from gambles just like this.

This is an awesome place for a good quick burger- wayyyy better than 5 guys! They don't put lettuce or tomatoes on the normal burgers so make sure you add it on if you want it. They have super thin fries but they are really crisp and not over cooked at all! Oh and make sure to get their sauce- it's amazing!

Came here last night for dinner with my family for the first time. I was craving a burger and we had heard this place was good. WAIT/PARKING/SEATING: The restaurant is in a small shopping center and there is a decent amount of parking in front and some in back. They have a drive through or you can go inside and order and sit down. There is a good amount of seating inside of tables and booths. You order at the cashier and then they call your number over the loud speaker. Our food came pretty quickly... hence the fast food part haha. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service was good. There are no waiters, but employees comes and see if they can clear your table, etc. which is nice. FOOD: This place is known for their burgers, but they have other options as well, such as fish and chips, sandwiches, hot dogs, etc. We ordered burgers and they all come with fries - the fries are skinny fries and are yummy. I just had a regular single hamburger. It comes with pickle, onions and mustard. I ordered it without the pickle and grilled my onions. It was a good burger. My husband ordered the Double Steakburger California Burger. It comes with cheese, Freddy's sauce, onion, lettuce and tomato. Not sure why that is considered California style (coming from a Californian), but he said it was good. My daugher (2 years old) had the kids burger and fries. Unless they made a mistake, the kids burger was the same size as my single burger I got. The kids burgers just come with ketchup and a pickle. I ordered hers without the pickle and she liked it. Overall, Freddy's was a pretty good place to come get a burger. I'm a huge In & Out fan, so most places don't compare, but I would come back here and get a burger.

The Steak burgers have good flavor. Not your traditional thick meat slice. Thin strips of steak burger piled together cooked with a delicious crispness to them. Shoelace fries are delish and seasoned perfectly. In my opinion best burger place. And I'm not one to like burgers.

Service was exceptional, similar to In-n-out. Fries were thin, but still tasty Patty wasn't what you'd expect, but was still yumz. Order a double if the thinness bothers you. I'm not really a dessert person, but there were plenty of options. Pleasantly surprised.

Busy place! Pretty good steak-burger...a little crispy around the edges but tasty with a side of grease. Option for grilled onions. The skinny French fries are fine and I like the fry sauce which really was nothing more than ketchup and mayo mixed in my opinion. You can also make them cheese fries. You order at the counter and then they call your number. Pepsi products not Coke which is a dislike for me. Wide variety of frozen custard sundaes and shakes. You could compare it to a steak-n-shake, little more expensive but I'd eat here over the other.

Freddy's is a great place to get a good burger, fries and dessert. The burgers are much better than Steak n Shakes as is the service. (It's also a little more pricey, but you get what you pay for.) There are a few hidden menu item "hacks" that most people who go, miss. First, you can get a full order of chili cheese fries with your combo instead of regular fries for only $1 more; just ask for them. You can also just get cheese fries for .75 more, but they just put cheese on your regular size fries. Second, highly overlooked is the option to get a custard cookie for .99 with your combo. This is usually enough custard for me, and they have a mint custard cookie option. Finally, their kids club is a great deal. Yes, it is 5.99 to buy the t-shirt, but that comes with a free regular custard, and you get a free regular custard with purchase of a kids meal if your kid is wearing the shirt when you order. Considering a regular custard is about 3.25, two visits it is paid for. Also, don't miss their special limited time burgers...the hatch green chile burger was great and the "Philly" cheesesteak was tasty.

Freddy's is nest known for their steakbugers and frozen custards. The way I would describe their burgers = "belly-bomb". Which is super messy and greasy. They are available in all different sizes (single, double etc.) Taste was decent, but no In & Out freshness. I would rate a 3. The place is clean and staff friendly. Now on to the good stuff... The frozen custard - which is basically rich and creamy soft serve ice cream. Comparable to a upscale Diary Queen soft serve. They have concretes/blizzards, sundaes, etc. Yum! I would rate their soft custards a 5.

The burger was dry, the french fries were too skinny. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't cut it. I did try a custard, and it was very good. The service was enthusiastic, but didn't make up for the quality of the meal. I would not return. Sounds like this place started out really busy and then slacked off after people found out what the quality was like.

I've been to Freddy's about 3 or 4 times. I am a fan of the thin crispy burger. I always order my double with everything except mustard and never realized that I could also have lettuce and tomato on it until I looked at the menu online. You have to ask for these condiments since they are not standard add-ons. I will be sure to try it next time. The crispy burgers and the shoestring fries are what I keep coming back for. The service, free soft drink refills, fry sauce and cleanliness are what keeps me coming back. We always ask for hot sauce but they never have it. One final plus is they have veggie burgers, ice cream and shakes so the vegetarians have something to eat also. The buns are not too bready and that's a plus if you are watching your carbs.

If you like your burger patties thinner and crispier than your pickle chips and onion slices then this the place for you. Burger patties shouldn't be crunchy. Service was quick and polite. It was so packed there was nowhere to sit so I guess they are doing something right or maybe the new just hasn't worn off yet. It gets two stars simply because the custard is good. The burgers are overpriced for what you get.
