Copeland's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area, but I only eat here about 1-2 times a year. Although it is a chain (albeit small), it truly provides a unique experience to the area. We visited 6/21 for our anniversary dinner and it was not too busy when we arrived, despite it being Saturday. As we were there a while, it did start to get full. Our server was very kind and helpful and I wish his name did not escape me (it begins with a C). Throughout the night he was incredibly attentive with refills and we never had to wait too long for anything we ordered. Our server even offered us extra biscuits! We started our meal with their Artichoke and Spinach Dip. Copeland's serves this appetizer in a unique way with breaded and fried bow-tie pasta. It sounds strange but it is so delicious. We indulged in every bit of the dip, which was cheesy and delicious. I ordered the chicken parmesan, one of my favorite dishes anywhere. The server told me that they had changed the dish in which they started adding Alfredo sauce to the marinara. I was thankful that he filled me in because I would have been upset to receive it different than I was accustomed to. He said that he could ask the chef to make it as they did originally (again, super thankful for that). Copeland's has always had my favorite chicken parm; the chicken is breaded and seasoned giving it a distinct and flavorful cajun taste. The dish is served with angel hair pasta and a fresh and tangy marinara topped with a generous amount of cheeses (mozarrella, parmesan, and fontina). To add to the yummy-ness, Copeland's serves it with a fried biscuit. There is something about the marinara and the biscuit together than makes them even more special. Copeland's had a varied selection of traditional cajun dishes and other classics. I would write about what my partner had, but I seriously don't remember what it was. What I do remember is the dessert! This restaurant's desserts are so fabulous that you can come up order directly from their dessert station if that is all you want. This night we shared a large warm brownie that was topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The brownie was rich and delicious. We were stuffed but we could not stop eating it! Other desserts that are absolutely worth trying: ANY of their amazingly huge cheesecakes Bananas Foster Carrot Cake Honestly, just go to Copeland's... even if all you do is order dessert. As you can see, we indulged in a huge appetizer, delicious entree's, and a ridiculously dessert which explains why we only let ourselves come here 1-2 times a year.

Love this place. Normally not a big fan of chain restaurants. However this one place that I'll make the exception for. Martinis are usually done well. Food is always good. Prices are reasonable. Service is always top notch. When it's busy and we forget to make a reservation we sit in bar area and still receive great service with a full menu. Atmosphere is pleasant and good for date night or family night.

The one star says it all. I was passing through and wanted something familiar but was sadly let down and disappointed. I should really just wait until I go to good old Louisiana for creole food or dig up a private non-chain.

This location always baffles me. I visited here twice at year for Walmart meetings and always go to Copeland's and sit in the bar. The service is excellent. The sweet tea is good. The salad is good, but the main entree is always a gamble. I order the same thing every time. It's like clockwork. Don't even need a menu. Their signature fish is red fish and in California, where I'm from, you can't get that anywhere. I always order it blackened with vegetables toot toot and mashed sweet potatoes. The fish is either excellent or terrible. The issue has been in the kitchen and with overcooking. The last two times I was there (March & Nov) my redfish was terrible. It was dry, crispy and free of flavor. Before ordering the same disaster (and it's not cheap!) when I was there the second week in December I asked the server (a cute blonde, not the one who works behind the bar) if she could make sure the red fish was cooked properly and was took the time to ask the cook before letting me order it. She came back and told me if I ordered the red fish the cook would make sure it was cooked to perfection and tasteful and it was served perfectly. Excellent, in fact. Seems one cook is darn good at it and another shift struggles. Regardless, if you ask - and it's cooked right, you won't be disappointed.

I have eaten here once before and had a good experience.thats the only reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1! This return visit I brought my wife bragging about the place to find ourselves sitting outside patio listening to good love music with no service for way too long. Finally we left! The place had more staff than customers so no excuse whatsoever. We won't be back no matter how good the étouffée was.

Normally I like Copelands, but tried it for Thanksgiving and didn't have a good experience. My food came cold, the salad was like soup, and cheesecake was still frozen. The server didn't offer any compensation. Which one item being wrong I get, but 3 different courses having to be sent back??? Not good.

The restaurant has an upscale feel but without the prices. There are an assortment of appetizers including calamari. You can also try alligator! The chicken and yams was amazing. A great blend of savory and sweet. The portions were large - I only ate half of the plate. Service was great even though the computer system went down. The staff just went with it. I can't wait to come back!

We visited on Easter Sunday just as they opened. The restaurant was cold. When we asked the waitress why it was so cold, she said that the staff had only come in a few minutes before they opened. Really? Who had prepared all the brunch buffet? We decided to order brunch. They had a nice selection of breakfast items - eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, French toast, grits, potatoes, but cold plates + cold restaurant = cold food. Breakfast buffet was set up in front of the bar. Lunch buffet was set up in an adjoining dining room. Not a good setup, and it was difficult to get around the buffet because there were so many tables and people sitting everywhere. The desserts were not very good. The apple crisp was more like very few apples with lots of thick, brown sugar sauce - no crisp to it. The food was just okay. We were disappointed, and no one asked how our meals were. We might try them one more time, but we will order off the menu.

Staff is friendly and always have a smile. The food is delicious and creative and in the summer we enjoy sitting out on the covered patio. We've been there several times and it's been about 75/25 on the taste of the food but that's all in the cooks consistency would be nice from them

As someone who tries to eat healthy, this place is not an option for me. There are only 2 menu items under 550 calories... how do you make an entire salad section of the menu that is more than that many calories each?! The prices are a bit high for throwing everything in the deep fryer and the drinks prices are out of control above what they should be. The brunch that everyone raves about? I don't get it. I cannot eat $20 worth of food for breakfast. If I'm going to spend $20 for a buffet it's going to be for dinner and it's going to be better for me. Throw in a few mimosas and maybe I'll consider it, but it's a no for me.

We were very pleased with the service and the food. Having been to South Carolina where the Cajan is one point! I was pleased with my meal here. I don't say this often (sorry mom) but the crab cakes were the BEST I have ever had! and the cheese cake after a delicious meal was the icing on the cake best cheese cake in Benton county!

This place was really yummy and great service. I had the eggplant pirogue which was the best meal at the table. Everyone was eating off my plate. But the main star of the night was the corn crab soup. If I could hook it up to an IV and pump it into me I would. It was the best soup anyone has ever tasted!

Have been a fan of Copeland's from the time it opened in Rogers. The service and the food is generally always very good and consistent. The menu is varied with many choices. Vegetarian choices are limited but possible. The steaks however are outstanding. We've eaten here many times over the years and have had a less than great experiences but never a really bad one. That was generally always due to new wait servers. The atmosphere is dark and thankfully on the fairly quiet side. Great drinks and deserts. Highly recommended for a really nice meal with good service.

The restaurant was mostly full during happy hour, our seating was quick and the service was prompt. Both catfish entrees were good and the dessert was excellent.

The food here is amazing! It's delicious! The best thing about this place is that they can and will customize anything you ask for. Drinks at the bar are fabulous! Service is top-notch; they are always willing to go above and beyond. Find it amusing how people write reviews to rip this place apart when it's so wonderful!

Top notch establishment, very vlean, friendly and outstanding food. I've eaten here numerous times and gave never had anything less than a great dining experience. Steaks are great, deserts are huge and diverse. Great bar area with a fantastic selection. One of the best restaurants in all of Northwest Arkansas.

I've eaten at Copeland's more than a dozen times over the years and never left feeling "wowed" or impressed. It always struck me as the cajun equivalent of an Applebees or Chili's, although they present themselves as something far more upscale. All history aside, we decided to give Copeland's a try for their thanksgiving day meal. None of us felt like cooking, and our plans were in flux most of the week, so we decided to grab dinner at one of the Rogers restaurants on Thanksgiving day. Our options included The Village, The Dixie, McDonald's, or Copelands. In hindsight, McDonald's would've been better than the gruel that Copeland's presented as their Thanksgiving meal. The "cajun fried turkey" was pathetic. All three of us literally banged the cold pieces of turkey against our plates - it more closely resembled turkey jerky than it did deep fried turkey. I had to ask for a steak knife to cut the pieces of turkey into "chewable" bites. I wish this was an exaggeration, but it's not. The stuffing was a soggy mess that had the texture and taste of salty paste. My friends didn't even realize it was stuffing... The green beans were straight from a can and were bathed in a super watery roux that had started to separate. The corn was also canned and was served swimming in a pool of some type of milky slop. The candied sweet potatoes were the highlight, but only because they tasted semi-normal. Nearly everything on our plates arrived cold, which leads me to believe they had their food sitting in chafing dishes that weren't being kept at the proper temperature. The presentation and quality, aside from being cold, was pathetic - definitely not something one would expect for $19 per plate. Adding insult to injury were the $2.75 sodas. Who the heck charges $2.75 for a soda? It's no wonder Copeland's are closing at such a rapid rate. The attention to detail, the quality, the entire experience were laughable. Our party of three paid nearly $80 for this experience, and it was literally awful. Finally, I'd like to address the environment - this place is getting quite run down. The bathrooms were not clean; the fixtures (sink, soap dispenser) are aged; the tiles and grout are scummy. Our chairs at the table were rickety and unstable, and the cheap plastic soda mugs leave much to be desired. Benton county, I feel bad for you. Copeland's, you should be ashamed of what you've become. Copeland's = FAIL Food = 0 stars Service = 3 stars (average) Value = 0 stars MISC = 1 star (the place is getting run down) 3 years ago, lunches and business dinners were tolerable. I'd be afraid to try them again.

Yes, I think we all know Copeland's is a chain, so what! Six of us had a great time last night and left full and happy. Appetizers were reasonable and good. What a deal those fried pickles are, we all liked them. Server, Jo, is wonderful. Great advice on food choices and on drinking and driving. Blackened chicken made spicy, just the way I like it. All entres tasted good. Lots of food for the price. Long way from MN, but we would go back if we visit. I hope Jo will still be there,

Pretty good food. Portions are generous. Service was very good. Had the standard margarita on the rocks and it was very refreshing. The deserts feature cheesecake, not my fav in the summer. Crab claw appetizer was not as good as Papadeaux's but the butter sauce was delicious. The ambiance was conducive to conversation , thank you very much. Overall the experience was pleasant and we plan to come back for the brunch

This place was so great. I wish they had something like this in Chicago. I had the crab cakes which were extremely tasty. I tried the catfish which was great too. I also recommend the Bloody Mary. All around fantastic!!

If you're looking for a taste of New Orleans (or maybe just home sick) this is the place for you! The ambiance and menu reflect very well of New Orleans, especially on the holidays and mardi gras. I always go for their calamari to start with and then go into the Veal Copeland. They are my favorite dishes on their entire menu, and always fresh when it arrived at the table. The staff is friendly which also adds to the great experiences I've had while dining here.

Okay we went last night, our waiter was wonderful, the food was awful, the only thing good about the food was the biscuits they are very good, the crabcakes did not taste like crap they put them on top of my pasta and smothered in the sauce which made them very very soggy, I haven't been there in a long time I forgot how bad the food was, will not be going back.

The decor and ambiance here is fantastic, I wish I could say the same for the food. The service was friendly although the kitchen was rather slow with the food. I started with fried pickles which were good, but a bit too greasy and came out in clumps which were doughy in the center. The dish I ordered did not come out at all as I expected. At best I could call it southern food with cayenne pepper added. A nice attempt at cajun/creole, but I would say Razzoos is better and that is not compliment to Razzoos.

For Northwest Arkansas this is a five star restaurant experience. Our new favorite place since we moved here from Dallas last year. Have now eaten here at Copelands three times and enjoyed it each time. My wife and I each get the Penthouse salad and split a rib eye steak. The steak is served hot. We also love the sweet potato fries, hush puppies, and the crab beignets. Service has also been excellent all three times!

Visited Copelands for the 3rd time the other night. Love the atmosphere, and the salad and salmon i have gotten before was good. In the restaurant the staff always seem pleasant. This time my friend and i met for drinks. We sat in the bar. The waiter we had was very knowledgeable of the menu and seemed ok at the beginning. After looking at the menu to split something we couldnt find a healthy option we could agree on so we ordered drinks and two appetizers. When the waiter came back we gave our order and he actually said, thats it? Service went down from there. Our first drinks were ok but we ended returning two drinks after that and got one last drink each that was so horrible we didnt bother to finish. It was very disapointing. I would do dinner or lunch, but definitely no drinks there, going forward.

Never received service. Sat at bar and it was filthy. Waited 15 minutes. Guy next to me was served cold food, that was enough for me.... So I left. This place used to be great.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, going all the way back to 2007, but the last couple of times we've been there, the food just hasn't been as good. They changed the recipe (they swear they didn't, but my taste buds know better) of the Crab Corn Bisque. It used to be a rich, creamy soup with bits of crab and corn. Now it's a full-on corn soup, with very little crab and it doesn't taste the same. Likewise with the steaks. I don't know how they are preparing them, but they come out sizzling in fat, like they were broiled, not grilled. I got a thirty dollar ribeye, that was not good at all. I ate a better steak from WalMart that I cooked on the grill at home, and it didn't cost thirty dollars! While the meat is swimming in sizzling fat, it has a dry texture to it, something like meat that has been frozen too long. My mother's sandwich was just fine, but that was all. They even changed the recipe of my favorite drink (the Chocolate French Kiss), and I don't like it at all. We're going to be looking for a new "go-to" place to eat...

Wow-very disappointed from what we had heard and read. Dinner reservations for a booth - didn't know that would be half booth next to the drink station a where everyone walks by. The place was half empty!! When we asked for a different booth we were treated badly from then on. Food was average . I loved my eggplant entree but my wife's crab cakes were below average. While we were trying to enjoy our crawfish bread appetizer a server through our entrees on the table without saying a word-so much for enjoying our appetizer. Our check ($70)was on the table before our dessert. The manager seemed more interested in visiting with young waitresses than running the place. My drink was great but would have needed several to enjoy our dinner. Sorry just the truth.

came here for a Sunday afternoon brunch, the atmosphere is nice with live band, the breakfast was the highlight... cheese grits were great, can make your own omelette which offers a variety of ingredients. However, the lunch side was very bland for authentic New Orleans food, this can not be what the late great Al Copeland visioned when it came to his fine food. another note mimosas was only $2 which is a plus and they were delicious. I would come back here for breakfast only..I believe the price point for $22 is a bit high for mediocre food. somewhere between $12-$15 would better suffice

Excellent! The side salad was a meal. Excellent food, good selection, and great atmosphere. Looks fancier than it is. Steaks a bit pricy but everything else was reasonable. Great New Orleans style drink menu and the bartender was awsome.

Delicious New Orleans style food for a great price. The ambiance puts it over the top with a lot of flare to put you in a fantastic mood while you are there. They even have a desert bar that is fabulous! I would recommend the Tuxedo Cake. Super yummy!

The sound of live music playing from the patio drew us in. After being seated we waited 10 minutes and were never greeted or acknowledged at all. We felt terrible for the musician playing as we slipped out the back due to being ignored. He probably thought it was due to him but rather it was due to no service. We were ready to hang out and relax but the service in our hotel room turned out to be much better as I poured our wine in a much quicker fashion! Hell, I even greeted myself better!

Just had dinner here and it was delicious! I was sad that they ran out of the claw crab appetizers but we ordered their jazzy wings instead. It was good but I would have preferred crab instead. However, my entree made up for my seafood crave! I ordered the catfish stuffed with crab and it was sooooo good! Perfectly seasoned and just deliciousness in my mouth! It tasted very fresh and not like frozen fish. My husband got the 12oz ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly as well. Best steak we've had in awhile and my husband is a picky steak eater. We will definitely be back for more.

I recently took a drive to AR for a funeral. It was a horrible drive but the whole way, crossing steak states like Texas and Oklahoma, I was craving a nice fat juicy steak. So when it came time to take some of the attendees to a dinner, steak was on the mind. Unfortunately must steak houses in that county are closed Sundays or simply, like everything else, close early. I was glad to hear the party finally suggest and agreed to Coleland's Famous New Orleans Restaurant. Famous I'd say not so much. Ok, service was excellent and an easy four stars. Most everyone enjoyed their pastas, fillet Mignon and burger. I am going to state that the gator strips where poorly prepared in a heavy and over bearing breading. I couldn't taste the gator at all. Too bad because that stuffs delicious. The salad was ok. Very good blue cheese dressing nicely on the side. Plenty of lettuce on the plate. Enough to make it it's own dish even. However the lettuce was cut into strips and falls off the folk constantly. Not a big deal breaker but frustrating none the less. Oh and a BIG disappointment in such a higher end restaurant is that I was not offered fresh cracked pepper. WHAT?! What's a salad without fresh cracked pepper? Final deal killer. My rib eye. No, no, no! 30 hours driving. Grey days of a funeral. 6 states. A major crave for steak. And I get the Denny's Monday breakfast special. TERRIBLE! Rib eye should have nice fat surrounding a thick cut on meat, slightly seared on the outside and juicy pink on the inside. But no, I get a 3/4 inch piece of meat my 6 year old could cook on a pan at home, tasting dull. It had tendon I had to pull off by hand because the knife couldn't even cut it. (Hello chef, you should have trimmed this meat). To ad salt to my wound the meat was not cooked even throughout. part was rare, some was well, all had to be flavored by me with table salt and pepper. Also, never ad gratuity to a check EVEN if we have a party of 6 or 100. When you do that your server may deserve less and I would never return to a place that makes me tip for poor or bad service. However, in this case your server was very good and deserved a better tip. He got gypped by you which angered me. TIP should ALWAYS be at the CUSTOMERS choice. Sorry folks. I just can't recommend for lack of ability to make a rib eye better the Denny's. PS. Teach your bar tender that if you don't have a certain brand to simply say your out. I don't want or need to know how you just ran out because it's rarely ordered so none in stock, blaa blaa blaa.

By far one of the best places I have ate at. I had stuffed crawfish on top of fettucini and it was amazing, the waitress was nice and they have a great happy hour 1\2drinks and some apps. Give it a try. Sundays in the bar would be the best day to go for happy hour.

Copelands-Rogers, AR I've been here several times for lunch & always attend the Sunday Brunch twice a month. I tried the jazzy wings & buffalo spring rolls which was "meh" and I disliked the Eggplant Pirogue (the shrimp tasted like chlorine, which I believe is an indicator that the seafood is bad). The manager was kind enough offer another entree selection. But since then I avoid the apps/ seafood & I usually order the Eggplant & Chicken Parm or the Chicken with Yams, which are both VERY delicious & of large portion. The Sunday brunch is yummy...Love the cheesy grits & biscuit!

GREAT MEAL!!! Five adults and five different meals they were all very good. The service was great too! Would highly recommend this restaurant!! Can't wait to come back to this restaurant. So many choices I would be able to continue to try other things. I can't wait to try more!!

Wow, surprisingly good--for Arkansas! One of my coworkers knew this place and we took a chance. I am glad that we did! The service was great and the beer (Shiner and Broadway on tap!, appetizers and main dishes were great. Try the fried gator bites--mmm, tasty! The redfish entree is also very good. I had mine with brocolli.

Many people forget about Copelands. So many choices. I recently had lunch with friends and the richocet catfish is really good but it is so much food. I prefer one of the "small plates" like the steak labouchere which is a perfect lunch portion especially when you have to save room for dessert. And you have to save room for dessert. The cheesecake is fabulous!

On a very "un-busy" evening, I was seated immediately, but then waited over 20 minutes for a menu, 10 more minutes to order and then another 20 for my meal. .. which was overcooked and tasteless. Fast food is a better option.

Not very good food. I would give the national chain a 4 star rating, even thought there is nothing New Orleans about the place other than the names of dishes. This location seems to be a little worse then the other Copland's I've eaten at before. One experience here I was in a party of 25 and we had one server waiting on the party... Needless to say, the service was sub par like the food on this occasion.

Copeland's is one of our favorite area restaurants. The service is always good and the food in exceptional. Try the eggplant pirogue. It is spectacular. Large slices of egplant breaded and crispy served over angel hair pasta with a creamy shimp and crab claw sauce. Great crab cakes and appetizers also.

Went here for a business dinner with colleagues. Service was great. Prompt seating, server John got us drinks and specials right away. Steaks ordered, classic filets and Rib Eye steaks were over cooked. Medium rares came more like medium well done, and medium as well-done. Steaks were okay nevertheless, and side dishes recommended were pretty tasty.

A pretty decent taste of Louisiana here in Arkansas... I can't comment on the less than great steak experiences, I stick to the seafood. Blackened or grilled fish is a great bet, as is the fried stuff if you're up for it. The Crab Claw appetizer is great; be sure no one at the table is offended by LOADS of garlic! The spinach salad with hot bacon dressing is a must-have as well, and gumbo and other featured soups are usually great as well. If you can save room for one of their signature cheesecake preparations, it is SO calorie-worthy!

This place is like a Cajun version of TGIFridays. Total weaksauce. Only someone who has never been to NOLA could be duped into thinking this is good Cajun/creole food. After grilling the waitress for a recommendation, I went with the "overstuffed" roast beef po-boy which was described as: "THE ULTIMATE ROAST BEEF PO-BOY- Garlic mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle on New Orleans own French bread" with a side of red beans and rice (instead of fries) I was grabbing this bad boy to-go to eat at my hotel which was about a block away. Got the food quickly, (almost too quickly) made a dash to the hotel and was ready to dig in. I opened the box and looked for the overstuffed part, you could barely see anything hanging out of the baguette. Took a bite and spit it out. The french bread tasted like it had been sitting out since the day before, the roast beef was like leathery gristle and the gravy was some sad concoction that probably comes in a packet. Trying to salvage something I opened the red beans and rice. I could not make out the shape of a single bean. This was basically like frito-lays bean dip on some Uncle Bens. It was nasty. I could get better than this stuff dumpster diving in any area of New Orleans.

I used to go to Copeland's in Atlanta, but there are no locations near where I live. After checking into my hotel I saw a Copeland's down the road and stopped for dinner. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and went with the spinach artichoke dip with fried bow tie pasta. I ordered the hot spinach salad and it was great - tomato, bacon and lots of spinach. For dinner I ordered from the small plate menu and went with the London broil. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had! It was small, so the waiter included a biscuit with the plate. I finished with the bananas fosters - excellent! I like the sauce, cream and banana - but I could have lived without the bread portion. It was a little dry. Speaking of the waiter - Michael was one of the most polite, friendly and efficient waiters I have never had at any restaurant. He kept the drinks filled and was very friendly. His service was an excellent topping to a great meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant and waiter any time you are in Rogers, AR.

Great food, if more expensive than the surrounding chain restaurants. We stopped in for dinner on a mid-week evening and the place was surprisingly busy with most of the booths and tables filled. Our waitress (Jessica) took our order and brought the drinks a few minutes later. The place is very comfortable, though I didn't quite "get" the New Orleans flavor. Sure, they hang a few beads around but the menu was mostly American-style food. My crab and corn bisque was excellent, though I felt that there wasn't nearly enough in there. It disappeared quickly. This was followed by the BBQ melt chicken sandwich, which was excellent and spicy and was covered in a big pile of onion strings that were delicious. My tablemate had the wood grilled chicken with yams and she said that it was very good. (I think mine was better!) We split a white chocolate bread pudding, which was a large portion and was covered in a white cream sauce and garnished with raspberry on the bowl. Absolutely excellent. Would I return? Yes. It's certainly a more unique option than its neighboring chain restaurants. (Also, they have a Sunday brunch menu.)

I have enjoyed their fish dishes and salads, especially the Fresh Fish Magnolia and the Chopped Salad. The biscuits are some of the best; very fluffy. The bread pudding is also good. I eat here about once every other week because it is close to where I stay in Rogers, and we all agree that the service and quality is very inconsistent. The expansive menu and proximity make it a decent fall-back dinner option.

It was quite nice! We decided on Cajun for my husband's dinner out so to Copeland's it was! We ordered the fried alligator for the appetizer and it was a bit over cooked, but juicy and tender. The appetizer was a bit over priced for the portion, but it was tasty. For our main dishes, my husband ordered the Shrimp Ducky which was nice but a bit too saucy. The flavor was heavy and reminded me of beef stew and mushrooms. My dish, however was the steak labouchere, seared ribeye steak, garlic butter, tossed angel hair pasta with Labouchere sauce....and it was DELICIOUS! The ribeye was perfectly seared medium with a slight crispy edge. The buttery angel hair pasta was a flavored just right and was the perfect compliment to the ribeye. I couldn't get enough of it.

I'd go 2.5 stars on this review if I could. I walked over from the hotel and debated between Copeland's and O'Charleys. I chose Copeland's since they aren't a chain and I was hoping they'd have at least one Abita draft. I settled for a Stella (other choices were the ubiquitous Sam Adams seasonal, Guinness, a Boulevard hefe (I like B'vard, but not hefe's) and the usual mega-brew or three). I wasn't all that hungry and asked the bartender what she thought between a few appetizer and salad choices. She recommended fried calamari and a small Caeser (I think I ended up with a large?). So I went with that, adding fried crawfish to the Caesar. The food came quickly enough. The calamari was average but did include an usually peppery sauce that I enjoyed. The Caesar was nothing special (in spite of "being known for a good Caesar", she said). I particularly dislike a salad where the greens have gotten warm from the heat lamp and/or warm toppings. I caught up on some internet stuff while I ate, but the free Wifi gave out before I finished. I would have had another Stella otherwise, but bailed to check out the beer selection at the O'Charley's I had skipped (not so much it turned out). There was a pair of acoustic guitarists starting up as I left that were probably enjoyable. The portions were huge BTW and I really had 2 to 3X as much food as I would have preferred. So, it's a Meh+.

I love a trip to Copeland's for brunch on Sunday. The bloody Mary is HUGE and super delicious. They have a great variety of eggs Benedicts to choose from. My favorite is the french toast. We occasionally head over in the evenings for celebratory dinners - Eggplant Pirogue every time.

My partner and I decided to have a "date night" for the first time in a few months. We were visiting Rogers for the weekend, and since I love Copeland's, we decided to eat there. Our server was pretty good. I can't remember her name but she was friendly and attentive. Our drinks and appetizers (Bayou Broccoli--my favorite!) came out in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken and eggplant parmesan. It was good, but I should have asked for more sauce. My partner ordered the crawfish fettuccine, and it had so much cayenne pepper that he couldn't even finish it. We're both from Louisiana and can handle food with lots of flavor, but this was extreme. He loves spicy food so it speaks volumes when he turns spicy food away. I asked our server to suggest a local dessert shop that we could visit after our dinner, but she insisted they had good desserts. I conceded and we ordered a bananas foster. I didn't like it because the ice cream was wrapped in some cake-like substance. I really don't know what it was, but it failed my expectations of what bananas foster should have been. Since we have no Copeland's locations near us (Houston, TX), we'll likely go back to this location on our next visit. We now know what to look out for next time.

So you find yourself in the middle of Wal-Mart mecca wondering where to go to eat... surrounded by all chain restaurants...Chili's, Famous Dave's BBQ, Johnny Carino's....muh...decided on Copeland's of New Orleans.. The first thing you notice is how dark it is... maybe for dinner it's not so shocking, but for lunch, you feel like you are in the middle of a mafia movie where the boss man is discussing his latest hit over a martini at that corner booth with the amber candle burning away... After our eyes adjusted, we chose a table in the bar next to a window. The food here was actually surprisingly good! One of my luchmates and myself both had the blackened catfish. It came with mashed red potatoes, and Corn Macque Choux. All very good! We did ask for the catfish to be extra blackened, and it definitely had some bite to it! Another person in our party had the gumbo and also said it was very tasty. Big Menu! Lot's to choose from. Reasonable prices. Nice diversion from typical chain restaurants.

Copeland's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants; it's the closest to authentic Cajun food that any chain restaurant can get. The service is good most of the time and the atmosphere is great for an intimate dinner or a get-together with friends. Their sweet tea is delicious - good enough to actually be considered "Southern" sweet tea. Shrimp and grits tastes like homemade and the blackened fish is perfect. The only thing I haven't liked there is the Po Boys - just not enough mayo! This place is in my top five in NWA.

The service was excellent. We started out with the fried alligator strips which were great. I had the shrimp new orleans, my wife had the zydeco chicken. Of all places, I'm in Arkansas this week. Smack dab in the middle of Wal-Mart headquarters. It's a business trip and I always like trying new restaurants, especially on an expense account! We came in here for dinner and with a big sign flashing the words "New Orleans," I expected some good cajun flavored food. Once I read through the giant sized menu, I was hard pressed to find anything cajun related. So I ordered the gumbo and it actually tasted pretty good. I've never been to New Orleans, so I couldn't compare to that. For the entree, I went for the garlic filet mignon. It was disappointing, to say the least. For $30, it was extremely small in size and overcooked to well done.. I wanted it medium, but I didn't feel like sending it back. The side of baked sweet potato was 2 times bigger than my steak! It was good, although too sweet to finish off. All in all, 3 stars.

Well worth eating here, assuming they cook your steak to order. Sometimes they have a bit of a problem with that. The cocktails can be a bit on the crappy side (depending on who's working the bar), but usually they're fine. It's not the best restaurant in Bentonville, but it's pretty good, albeit more expensive than most.

Service has also been excellent all three times!

came here for a Sunday afternoon brunch, the atmosphere is nice with live band, the breakfast was the highlight... cheese grits were great, can make your own omelette which offers a variety of ingredients.

Service has also been excellent all three times!

came here for a Sunday afternoon brunch, the atmosphere is nice with live band, the breakfast was the highlight... cheese grits were great, can make your own omelette which offers a variety of ingredients.

The food here is amazing! It's delicious! The best thing about this place is that they can and will customize anything you ask for. Drinks at the bar are fabulous!

Not good.

The restaurant has an upscale feel but without the prices. There are an assortment of appetizers including calamari. You can also try alligator! The chicken and yams was amazing. I can't wait to come back!

Not good.

Big beers, big portions, big menu. I ordered a smoky chicken sandwich and a side of fries with a bud light. Heard the crab chowder was tasty, but did not partake. Manager was very accommodating for my mom's birthday. Made her an extra-special gigantic fishbowl drink and let us bring in a cake and candles.

Brunch was great and the music was jazz. For a Sunday it was perfect. Our service was prompt, friendly, attentive, without being pushy. We did not fell rushed or made to feel like they wanted to torn over the table.
