Yum! My son chose this place for his bday dinner. None of us had been, he'd come with a friend before. He and my husband ordered the catfish meal plate or something. My girls got chicken tenders and i got shrimp. Everything tasted good. I'm not sure how or why but my baked potato was the BEST baked potato I've ever had! The green tomato relish is different and good! I don't like catfish, but I tried my husband's and it was good! The hush puppies were awesome too! Our service was great, a drink never went empty. It is a bit expensive for the casual place that it is, probably due to the single serve packaging for EVERYTHING. The mene does not have a ton of choices, and any healthy option is mainly not there... so go on a cheat day! That is the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Wow, delicious catfish. Got the family deal and polished it all off. If what you are looking for is fresh deep-fried delicious catfish, you've come to the right place.

Great catfish. Superbly dredged and fried, crispy and non-greasy. Service was pretty good. I was there for an early dinner so it could have been a bit more attentive. Hush puppies were wonderful. Baked potato option versus fries was welcome. Yummy creamy cole slaw. Ate TOO much and still had to get a box.

I love this place and recommend it to all the visitors to NWAR. Get the special w/ catfish and hush puppies and the pecan pie is worth getting by itself... Great service too. I am really surprised the ratings aren't higher. I brought a couple groups from out of town and they liked it a lot.

The fish is good and fresh, but if you're not a regular, don't expect any kind of service.

I won't be back anytime soon. For what you're getting, it's priced too high. Their "kids" meals are nearly 8 dollars. I was shocked that a place like this serves tartar sauce IN PREPACKAGED CONTAINERS. It's really crappy, cheap tartar sauce that you'd expect at a convenience store. The beans were plain, like they opened a can of red beans and just heated it up. No seasoning, no flavor, no BBQ, nothing. The breading was very, very dry and not very flavorful, which compounded the lack of good tartar sauce. Hush puppies were pretty good, fries were average, and the fish flesh itself was pretty decent. The old lady that runs the register is somewhat blunt and rude, probably the owner's wife from what I could tell, because it wouldn't be someone that you would normally put up front unless you were blinded to how bad she was at providing custoemr service. To top it off, they clearly wear their politics on their sleeve, but manage to screw it up badly. They have a quote concerning gun control by Adolph Hitler at the cash register......which is crass even if the quote were true, but a quick Google search tells you that it's completely fabricated, and just around to try and shamelessly exploit one of the greater tragedies in human history. I grew up around guns, I have hunted most of my life, but even I was a bit appalled that a place would have a Hitler quote at the cash register. It's expensive, offensive, but honestly, I would have went back still had the food been good...but it wasn't. Save your money and go to Long John Silvers, even it's far better and will leave your wallet a lot heavier.

I would not consider this a seafood establishment since catfish is more than likely farm raised nor does it grow in the sea. It is a simple southern no frills eatery. My girls and I enjoyed our catfish and hush puppies but my son got pretty sick from the hamburger. (no points off since you really shouldn't come here for a burger). Some items like the watered down repackaged ketchup and the tartar sauce packets did not impress me at all. I'm not sure if people eat the raw white onions with their catfish but it seemed kinda like an odd thing to include or pay extra for if you don't want to eat it. They do offer fried chicken tenders but we didn't care for it. Atmosphere is a little intimidating, you kind of expect the needle on the record player to be pulled off and everyone to turn to look at you when you enter the restaurant but everyone is cool. I thought the prices were a bit high and like flying fish much better.

This is by far the best catfish restaurant in the area! The catfish is perfect every time with great hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw. Large portions and low prices make the experience even better! Add in Some good ole southern hospitality and what you get is a locally owned restaurant with a well earned great reputation. I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for some great Southern comfort food. I have been eating here for years and have never been let down. The lunch prices are around what you would pay for a "value" meal at McDonald's but with much better quality food. They even have a drive thru.

So delicious, I wanted to keep eating even after I was full. This was the best fried catfish I have had (disclaimer: I have only had fried catfish one other time at Famous Dave's, it was over-fried and had too much breading) This was recommended to me by a local, so I was really excited to come here and get some true Southern food. The catfish platter is a great deal - for $8.25, you can 5 pieces of catfish, coleslaw, fries (or a baked potato), and 3 hushpuppies. The catfish pieces were large, light, flaky, and overall, just awesome. The coleslaw and fries were just okay (glad they weren't better because I would've eaten them all), and the hushpuppies were amazing - crispy on the outside and soft inside. I also got the corn nuggets, which was sweet corn (possibly a bit creamed), deep fried in batter. You got about 10 pieces for $2.95. I had never had them before, and I loved them. Great prices, large portions, and excellent food. I'll definitely be back here again on my next trip to Arkansas.

If you like Catfish this is the place to go in Rogers. It appears to be very clean and the people working are friendly and do a good job taking care of their customers. You order at the counter when you come in then they bring your food and drink to the table. The food is nothing to write home about but is good. Fish pieces are big and meaty and come out nice and hot but seem to be a bit bland. Fries are frozen not fresh cut but are still good. HushPuppies are just plain fried cornbread, they could use some onion in them before cooking. I'm not a big fan of slaw and still not :). With that said when I'm in Rogers and have a craving for catfish this is where I would come. Oh and the prices are very reasonable.

If you love Southern cooking - cornmeal-breaded catfish, pinto beans, hush puppies and cole slaw - this is the place. We were born and raised in Southeast Missouri on the Mississippi River, and we know good catfish when we taste it. Yum! The pickled green tomato relish was a treat. We heard the corn fritters are tasty and will try them next time.

I'm not usually a fish person but my family is. We saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try. It was really good. The fillets were light and crunchy and not too fishy. The servings are large. Next time I would buy the fish and get sides to share instead of a whole dinner for each person. We will be back.

Excellent catfish. We'll be back! Not everything was as good as the catfish, there are a couple of things that could be improved. First and most important...make your own tarter sauce!! It;s easy and makes a BIG difference. If you want unique, let me know I have a really special sauce. Prepackaged Kraft sauce is an insult to your wonderful fish! The beans and green tomato relish are wonderful, the slaw is just OK as are the hush puppies. Service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I will be back and will enjoy the fish and the shrimp!

Best catfish in Northwest Arkansas. It just melts in your mouth. Far superior to Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. Good prices. Good portions. Fries are only so-so. Tartar sauce is Kraft served in the package. Odd, but actually kinda tasty. The fried pies are little fattening piece of heaven. Try the pecan.

The thing I miss most about NW Arkansas is this place. They have amazing fish, fries, tea, and hushpuppies, and their coconut cream pie is the best I've ever had. The staff are all so nice, and they remember you well. If I could afford it, I may eat there every night of my life.

Not too many seafood places in NWA. This place has been in business ever since I have lived here (22yr) and before. They moved a few years back to a new building but it still has that old diner feel. The wait staff is friendly. Oh the food? It's good catfish. When you order at the counter, you can get sliced onions and green tomatoes with your meal (its simply a yes or no). Lunch has a special for like $5-6 which consists of 4 pieces of fried catfish, hushpuppies, fries and slaw. I always opt out of the slaw and substitute a bowl of brown beans. The fish is good and not too breaded nor greasy. Two thumbs up.

This catfish joint is a good bang for your buck. The catfish is fresh and not over cooked. My 2 yr old son eats a ton of catfish every time we go here....and he is ...well picky and 2. The sides you get are typical catfish country style fair. Fries, Coleslaw, Hush puppies, and option for tomato relish and onions. best of all ...eating here is supporting local biz.
