What a great little place in the middle of a good-food desert! After four visits we have experienced great service from smiling folks who put good food on the table at a reasonable price. Pre dinner bread is good and hot. Salad was passable but the calzone and lasagna didn't disappoint. Calzone was huge and full of stuffings. Lasagna was piping hot and delicious. Great sweet tea (I know, but it's the south and that's a big deal around here) to wash everything down with. Cream sauces are also good and have a homemade flavor. Excellent portion sizes at lunch or dinner. This is definitely worth a shot in the land of chain mediocrity that surrounds it. Keep up the good work guys!

I really like this restaurant. I've been here four or five times and always had very filling well made meals. There marinara sauce is not overly bitter well made. I really like the chicken Alfredo. There Alfredo sauce is very creamy and it doesn't get pasty as it cools. Unless you have a very large appetite or sharing with someone get the kids menu it's enough for one person. My only true complaint is the baked ziti has a bit too much for ricotta cheese. I would've liked a little more meat in the sauce. Dipping sauce for the bread is simply wonderful. I would like to have a little more crustier bread. The staff is great service wonderful. The prices are affordable.

Best Italian food in central Arkansas. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered. The Stromboli is my personal favorite. The rolls with garlic/olive oil dip is amazing and the rolls are free!!

Our first visit started out great with a great server. She was so friendly and helpful. We asked for recommendations and she was so knowledgable. She obviously loves this place and wants it to succeed. The bread was so delicious, that if the food had not been great, we'd still go back for the bread! However, our food was fabulous. It was piping hot and fresh. Large portions will allow for leftovers tomorrow. This is absolutely the best place to eat in Jacksonville and I'm sorry I hadn't tried it until today. Actually this little place could rival great restaurants in little rock. It was clean, and such a pleasant surprise. Now to those of us who live in Jacksonville, let's keep this place in business! It's too good to have to close because we don't support them. I can't wait to go back!! Great job, Roma!!!

What a perfect first visit! Very friendly server and the best Italian I've had in a long time. The quality is excellent, the portions are huge and the bread is a delicious meal all on its own. Love the alla panna sauce and baked pastas. We plan to have lunch here as often as possible!

Went there for the first time the other day. I ordered the lobster ravioli and had them add some scallops. It tasted pretty good but the sauce tasted kind of like it was out of a can or jar. Also pretty sure the ravioli came from a bag or something. My plate had about 4 large ravioli. The scallops were about $3 to add, which I thought was really cheap. Once the food came I discovered why. They were all about the size of pearl onions at best and tasted "seafoody" rather than of scallops. Usually that happens if scallops have been frozen or they are old. Not that I'd know if they were frozen or old. All in all for the ravioli, scallops and a drink, my order was about $22. As for service, our waitresses was apparently new since she told us she was new. She was very friendly and attentive. The portion sizes are also very decent. You will easily get enough for the price depending what you order. Wasn't a bad experience and I'd probably go back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
