This place sounds promising due to its reviews, but it's just ok. It's been a long four years here in Arkansas in search of something as good as a slice from the East Coast. The pizza tastes fresh but felt like I could make something better from home. The z's breadsticks are edible, but not worth the purchase. Tasted and looked like a lump of dough with too much cheese on top. I will not be returning and the search continues...

5 stars! If you blink you might miss this hole-in-the-wall pizza restaurant. Looks like a little bar turned restaurant on the side of college avenue. But they've got amazing food! My fiancé and I both had a small salad--the garbage salad with house dressing was fab. We shared a z-bread that was doughy and cheesy perfection. It was served with the homemade marinara sauce which had a unique flavor but we both fell in love with it instantly. And finally the supreme pizza baked evenly with fresh veggies, just the right amount of cheese and marinara. Delicious! The only complaint I have is the lack of waitstaff. There were 2 waiters managing 8+ tables. Took a while to place our order. The food arrived in a normal amount of time, but took a while for our check and drink refills as well. Atmosphere was pretty basic, nothing glamorous. Unfinished brick wall, black and white checkered tablecloths, not much wall decor. Great food!

I wouldn't have even known it was here had it not been for Yelp. I love the atmosphere. The pizza was great and service was quick. They have an excellent menu (more than just pizza). Z's is another example of why I love the variety of restaurants in Fayetteville. We will definitely be back.

So far the best margarita pizZa I had in NWA good cheese to crust ratio. Loved the chewy crust. I guess the wood fired oven brings out the best flavor in the dough. Skip the bruschetta. Too sweet for a bruschetta. Will be back to try other pizzas.

They specialize in wood fired pizza and do a good job too! We have ordered takeout several times and ate in once. The interior is cute. We have found that the Zupreme (is that what it is?) is the best. It's their version of a supreme pizza and it's full of toppings- veggie and meats. We tried a pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage once and it was subpar, so we will continue to get the supreme. It's some of the best pizza in town! The crust is thin with enough crunch, but not too crunchy or hard. The salads are good as well.

Being from the East Coast, I've been extremely disappointed by the pizza selection in NWA in the 3+ years I've called this place my home. By and large, the pizza is just bad. I've been to the ones people always recommend, like the "Darn good" one, the "Chicago-style" one...blech. I have never been to the same place twice, because I've never been to one worth revisiting (save the "Mellow" one, but that was strictly a desperation move - and we have two kids, so who cares what their pizza tastes like). Until now. We go at least once every two Weeks. I might even be the Duke here, I'm not sure. This is legit, take it from me. The cheese and toppings are all high quality, and the brick oven crust is the best you'll find around here (with good cheese/sauce/crust ratio). It's worth a few extra bucks, compared to the alternatives. The staff is very friendly, the game is always on and the local beers on tap round it out very nicely. Don't forget to follow on Twitter and FB because they let you know all the specials (1/2 price pizzas on Wed., $2 pints other days, etc.).

Amazing pizza, great salad, and local beer....what else could you want. The service was great and the place is very cute. Good place for a casual date night or dinner with the girls.

Have not been able to find what I consider *good* pizza in Arkansas since moving there from Massachusetts 9 years ago, but this place comes close. I mark down because the pizza is a bit on the expensive side, and because it still doesn't match my "Gold Standard" for pizza (back in MA) but it's the best I've had in Arkansas.

This was my first visit and, I have to say, exceedingly impressed. The Z bread was delicious and the pizza was one of the best I've had in a while (we had the margherita and the fresh basil is out of sight). Pretty dead when we went in on a Sunday night... likely missing the church crowd. Overall, I'll definitely be back.

Best pizza in Fayetteville hands down! -pizza is authentic and delicious -atmosphere is clean, and inviting -service is prompt and friendly -prices are very reasonable The only thing that isn't awesome about this place is the location, which is on busy north College and kind of ugly from the outside. Eat here!

Pretty delicious. The salads and the pizza are real good. Nothing too unique about the flavor or products, just solid NWA pizza. The toppings are sliced fairly thin, which I prefer, and there is enough sauce to cover the pizza. I think a lot of our local pizza places use too little sauce most of the time. We will be back.

Excellent place that is very small and unassuming. If I hadn't read Yelp reviews there is no way we would have stopped here but I'm so glad we did. The inside is really quaint, a few tables and booths as well as a small, limited bar with a few beers on tap. The service was excellent, very prompt but not too clingy. We had a pizza as well as the caprese salad and meatball appetizers. Everything was fresh and obviously homemade. The marinara sauce is chunky and sweet. I went at an odd time and would guess that this place gets full and busy fairly quickly during key nights. For a homemade meal and good service this is a great place to try.

Simply. I am a huge pizza lover. I would even say, pizza snob. LoL So when I talk of Z's Brick Oven Pizza. It is with the biggest regards. I keep wanting to try other stuff on the menu, but it is always the pizza that I end up choosing. Their crust, is one of my all time favorite crusts. Perfectly balanced, not too thin, and perfectly chewy. Ingredients are all fresh. Good selection of meats, cheeses, veggies. The location is on one of the busiest streets in Fayetteville, College St., but Z's seems almost hidden. But when you find it, devine pizza awaits. The Staff. The customer service is top notch. Do not be surprised if the owners wait on you. They are there working everyday that I know of. The rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a young business, but be excited, over time they will get better and better.

Overpriced and not as good as we had hoped.

Best pizza in NWA. Perfect chewy crust and fresh ingredients. Prompt and at tentative staff, clean establishment, and good beer selection.

We stopped into Z's while on a trip through Arkansas. It was after dinnertime on a Friday and was pretty quiet inside. We got a nice booth and ordered an appetizer of Z-bread and the "37" pizza (basically the meat lovers). They also had two offerings from the local Saddlebock Brewery, so I felt compelled to try them both. Positives: -Nice local spot that's away from the busy part of town by the college. -Decent amount of menu options. -Local Saddlebock brews on tap. Negatives: -Prices are a little high, but not terrible. Z's was a decent stop for some much needed pizza. It is by far not the best pizza I've ever had, but by no means the worst - just kind of middle of the road. Workers were friendly, and the local tap selections were nice.

I went to Z's this past weekend since the photos of their pizzas gave me hope that I might find what I've been looking for in pizza during my stint here in NWA. I ordered a large sausage, but I placed it while waiting for my table because they seem to have no problem with getting business and were packed out. The dough was overcooked just slightly due to my early order but it wasn't dry or hard. One of the best crusts I've had here actually. The sauce was light and had a slight sweetness to it unlike most lazy locales who just use spaghetti sauce. I can't comment on the cheese because the entire top of the pie was freckled so densely by ball sausage to the point that it looked cratered. I don't mind heavy toppings, but this was a little overdone. I do wish the sausage was sliced instead of ball though as it produces more distinct flavor. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it's easily the best in NWA. My girlfriend ordered a small Hawaiian and she said it was terrific. Her crust was cooked perfectly. I'm reducing one star because the price is about 25% more than I would expect to have paid. On the other hand, they have no competition in Fayetteville that comes even close.

I just called to order some pizzas and salads for our office - although Z's doesn't usually deliver, Jerry offered to bring us our order, which I think speaks for amazing customer service. Our pizzas arrived less than 30 minutes later, hot and fresh out of the oven! We had the Hog, the Supreme and Zeggie pizza and all of them are fabulously delicious, great crust, fresh ingredients, just yummy!!! The Caprese Salad is fantastic too. We will surely order from them again! Good job, guys! Excellent service!

This place is literally the only brick oven pizza in NWA. If you're super into brick oven style pizza, you'll love this place for sure.

Z's is a cozy little secret. The pizzas all use the freshest ingredients and look as good as they taste. The crust is crunchy at first but has an awesome chewiness to it.

Awesome brick oven pizza! Caprese salad was fresh, and delicious! Two local Saddlebock beers on tap, along with the normal line up.

By far the best pizza in town. True Italian style dough and great specials. The hangover pizza with eggs and bacon is amazing! Service is always good and the atmosphere is comfortable and cool. I won't go anywhere in this town for pizza again.

Had the veggie and meat lover's pizzas. Both were delicious, amazingly fresh ingredients and great quality cheese. Crust was not thick and it was crispy not soggy. 5 different beers on tap including Shock top and 2 locally brewed options. Best pizza I've had in Fayetteville and I've tried them all!!
