So far, so good! I've enjoyed every visit to this business. Great atmosphere, excellent service and good diner food. The coffee is on point, they keep it topped off and it's always fresh. The menu has a great selection of traditional diner food. The location is excellent and it is fairly accessible. The service has always been very friendly and consistent in quality. It is always very clean! They have an Atari arcade box that includes Galaga, PacMan, etc. but it's $1 a pop. Talk about not making rent... Everything you expect out of a "modern diner" but they need a jukebox of some kind! They also have an excellent soda float selection (great for dates). Cheers!

Well, I had eaten at the Diner in Rogers and it was really great. And I came in hungry looking forward to some good ole southern cooking. Well, there were 5 other tables that were filled and it was very quiet except for the waitresses, which was actually not a problem. But, my waitress, the younger of the two, pretty much did not greet me and really made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by being there. Then I decided to keep it safe and order the lunch special, roast beef, mac&cheese, collard greens, and mashed potatoes and gravy. Sounds pretty safe huh? Well, she delivered my plate within maybe 4 minutes, which you would expect under the circumstances. As soon as she slide the plate to me, she was pretty much already turned her back and was gone. Food looked good..... Mac&cheese: about 2 hours over cooked... Which really defeats the whole cause.... Either I was late for lunch, or I was late for lunch. Turnip greens: zero flavor...... Was as though they opened a can and heated in the microwave and served to me. At that point it was a total lost cause... Mashed Potatoes: seemed to be made there and were good. Roast beef and gravy: it was good.... Roll: very fresh, soft, and the best part of the meal. So, I agree with the other Yelpers.... If things don't change in the kitchen, this place is a sinking ship. The older Waitress (didn't know her name, or my waitress name) was very nice and was covering the rest of the diner.... She is customer oriented and wants to provide good service. And, it is weird when management comes out and does interviews in the open diner.... Anyway, good luck here..... The additional star goes to the one waitress for at least acting like she cared.

Been here since 8:40pm and people that walked in 20 mins AFTER us and after our order was already in got their food before us. The service is TERRIBLE! Tables were not cleaned, coffee was awful. They just had TWO different set of couples walk out because they have been sitting here waiting to be waited on. They haven't even gotten their drinks! The servers and cooks are walking around talking on their cell phones! I had better service at McDonalds! NEVER COMING BACK!!

I came here with co-workers on a lunch break during a recent one day seminar. We were seating right away, and the servers were very friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant was COLD! It was freezing inside, to the point that our group considered getting our food to go so we could eat in the van. I had the meatloaf and sides of greens and black eyed peas. It was good, but after tacking on my nearly three dollar tea, lunch came to over 12 bucks. Not a great bargain for freezing your tail off in a 50's retro diner. Probably won't go back.

Good home cooking, with friendly atmosphere. James is the best server we've ever had. Very attentive!

Good place to eat! Very clean and lots of seating and parking. The menu options are good and very similar to a Dennys food chain. The staff was very nice and attentive.

I don't often stray from my mom's breakfast recipes for waffles and bacon and I think I might just stick to them. What I liked about Lucy's: 1. The atmosphere, it was very quiet and 60s-esque with their choices of music and decor. It was pleasant. 2. The bacon was DELICIOUS and my parents really liked the hashbrowns and eggs. 3. Portions were big without being overwhelming. What I did not like: 1. The water tasted dirty and unfiltered, even with multiple lemons trying to mask that taste. 2. I had the Belgium waffle which was good but I tried both the regular syrup (Smucker's brand) and the sugar free version. Both were disappointing and tasteless. Try Aunt Jemima next time Lucy's.

I had the catfish dinner and my wife had the hamburger steak. Both dishes were very good and well prepared. The beans are full of flavor and the green tomato relish was some of the best I have had. Hush puppies were golden brown but moist inside and the home cut french fries might be a little greasy but they remind me of my mom's home made fries. The coconut pie was great and the staff was super attentive and did a great job. We were so glad we tried Lucy's Diner when passing through tonight.

When it comes to breakfast food, we are always trying to find a better inexpensive alternative compared to IHOP/Waffle House. We decided to try out this new place. I ordered eggs, a pancake stack, and hashbrowns with onions in it. From what we can tell, they actually used real (small) eggs, and onions in the hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were really greasy, reminded me of Rick's Skillet. However, the most disappointing were the pancakes. My fiancee and I were trying to figure which of the two possibilities led to the pancakes being really dense (not very fluffy): 1) The mix to water/milk ratio was way off, or 2) they over-stirred the batter Way, way too much, or 3) both. Whatever the case was, it was bad and I couldn't get through half of it. The waitress was really scattered brained, and we felt rushed as customers. When delivering our drinks in the tray they use, something obviously spilled in the tray as she just plopped down our drinks on the table and there was a huge puddle of juice/water. Didn't bother to clean it as well. Some of the other waitresses seem to be fine and on top of things, but the food wasn't great. Regardless, I won't be going back there anymore just because of the food.
