I came to Jason's Deli today for lunch. This was my first time at this location, but I have been to other locations in other states. WAIT/PARKING: It is located in a pretty busy shopping plaza. At least it was busy during the time I was there. I do not frequent that area much, so not familiar with other times. However, I was able to find a parking spot pretty quick, call it luck - someone was just backing up. I came today during lunch hour (12:30pm), so it was busy. The line moved pretty quick, so I was able to order soon after I got there. The seating area is large with plenty of tables. Even though it was very crowded, there were a handful of tables and/or booths available. The wait for my food wasn't too long either. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Friendly cashier at the front. The guy who brought out my food to my table was very friendly and helpful. He asked if I need anything else and I needed some napkins and a water and he was quick to offer to go get it and was very friendly. Another man stopped by while I was eating to check and see if I was doing ok, I'm assuming he was the manager. Very friendly overall! FOOD: This time I ordered the caprese panini. Very yummy and great vegetarian option. It is also great that some of the ingredients are organic. Their selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. is large. I've had other items on the menu and they have all been good. Seems like their ingredients are fresh also. BONUS: Free frozen yogurt. Well, free for customers, but I'm sure there are some people who have just come in and got some haha. They offer chocolate, vanilla and swirl, in either a cone or cup. AND you can refill it. Yummy. Overall, I would come again! Great lunch place.

Love this place!! Just wish it was closer so I could eat here more often. There's something for everyone. Kid sandwiches, pasta or soup! Mom can indulge with a pot pie or Asiago pasta or save room for the FREE ice cream by diving into the ample salad bar. Lots of good stuff to be had here. Pasta salad, fruits and veggies, nuts and even chocolate mousse on the salad bar. Heavy roast beef sandwiches or muffulettas for the hearty eater! And there are the most delicious gingerbread muffins (and corn muffins) for people to munch while they wait for their food. Which isn't long because they usually get the food to my table before we get our drinks. And did I mention the FREE ice cream after lunch?

First time eating at the one in Fayetteville. Grew up on Jasons Deli in Tulsa. Always a winner with their Tomato Basil soup and unlimited salad bar.

LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Food and service is always great! I recommend the food bar if you are in a hurry but if you have time to sit and enjoy, then get the roast beef with horseradish and a soup or salad. Yum!

The food is always delicious and presented beautifully. However we rsrelt come here because when we say, "no cheese" we mean it... dairy allergies. Not once have they gotten this right. Thus three stars instead of five.

Pretty disappointing food. The service is fine, but the food is mediocre to bad. Had a sandwich a few months back and it wasn't memorable. Went with some friends today and decided to get a salmon salad. The salad was poorly designed (it was like someone asked a 5 year old to come up with what should be in a salad). But the most disappointing part was the salmon. It was the reason I got the salad, and it was overcooked and dry. It was absolutely disgusting. I would avoid spending money at this place.

We ate here for a late lunch, around 2ish, and ordered soups, sandwiches, and cheesecakes. We just returned from our Holiday visit back to NYC and still had Katz's Deli fresh in our minds and taste buds. I'm an egg salad gal and hubby is a meat eater, so he got the New York Yankee which is a corned beef and pastrami w/Swiss on rye. He said it was pretty tasty, not sliced thick like Katz's, but still tasty. His favorite is still Franklin's BBQ in Austin, TX, but of course, this is closer, less of a wait time, and still very good. Egg salad was fine for me, but my daughter didn't like the dill taste in it. The Spinach Veggie wrap was fine too, and had a schmear of avocado, to go with the Asiago, spinach, mushrooms and salsa, but might be a little light for folks who want to feel full right away, instead of waiting 20 minutes to have the effect. The soups! I was finally able to enjoy a a French onion soup since it was soy-based, and very tasty! Gumbo soup was a bit spicy for hubby, but not for my daughter, was a little light on the seafood, but still tasty. Kids had the grilled cheese and plain Jane baked potato - cleaned their plates. Cheesecake was great too, even though Junior's plain is my all-time favorite. Jason's version was topped with a cream cheese frosting, which is a unique twist on the traditional toppings, and very good. For the 5 of us, including 5 drinks, the lunch came to about $75. So if you're planning on a soup to nuts, it'll cost more than a regular deli, but worth it. There are 2 entrances, one marked "Main" and the other "Orders to Go", even has 2 parkings spaces just for orders to go, but there's only 1 order counter, so grab a table, then walk up to the counter and place your order. They actually write up the order on a tab and price it, then you hand the slip to the cashier who manually rings it up. Thought that was a nice throwback touch, not to have a register that automatically codes the price. They give you a table number card, and you put it in the table marker stand, and wait for the servers to bring the goods. A very nice and "hits the spot" eatery.

Jason's Deli has the freshest salad bar in Fayetteville. It gets very crowded and loud during the lunch hour, but he food stays consistently fresh and well prepared. They have good sandwiches, a few pasta choices, baked potatoes, and what my wife declares the best tomato soup around. If you are in a hurry and want a salad for lunch skip the line and go to the express salad line.

Fair warning: This is an out-of-towner review. Grain(s) of salt needed. Jason's Deli, which I later found out was a chain, is not a 'deli' in the sense that this New Yorker is used to... It's more like a salad-bar-ry, sandwichy place that also has pasta, muffalettas, po'boys, loaded potatoes, and other things I've never seen at a deli. (Didn't mean that to sound too snarky.) I had a 'pecos' sandwich and it wasn't bad, while my friend chose from the salad bar. My sandwich had turkey, avocado, bacon which was there but which I couldn't taste, and it was on multigrain bread and came with blue tortilla chips. Can't go wrong with tortilla chips - the bluer, the merrier. Pickle spear included, thank you very much. There were lots and lots of (empty) seats when we arrived, and it was a little awkward... we were a little unsure whether to sit down, pay, self-serve, or if there was table service. We ended up paying here for one thing, there for another, and breathed small sighs of relief. The food was fine, there's lots to choose from, and you could at least put together a good salad if you wanted to (the bar had the baby corn, cottage cheese, and croutons you might expect). The menu highlights vegetarian options, and there's a gluten-free menu too. In the end, it's one of the few places in this part of Fayetteville that we could reach on foot from our nearby hotel.

Freshest salad bar in town with an amazing selection of toppings. We eat lunch here every time we visit our daughter at UA. When it's 100 degrees outside, nothing is better than the crisp, super fresh salad bar featuring all the regular toppings, but also artichokes, bell peppers, sala

Top notch customer service. Had a problem with my sandwich and they grabbed me before I made it to the counter. Fixed it by replacing it in less than 1 minute. Fresh food, good teas.

As chain delis go, this is a great one. This location is on par with the ones I have visited in Florida - large, clean dining area, friendly staff, good food. To dine in, you place an order at the counter and they give you your drink cup and a number for your order. You stick the number on the stand at your table and someone will bring your food to you. If you are doing the salad bar, go ahead and put your number at the table so the rest of your food will show up. If you don't, you may still be browsing the salad bar while the server is walking around the dining area with your soup trying to find you. I've been to this location twice. Both times were enjoyable. The Alfredo pasta was generously portioned and excellent; the gumbo was perfect both times, and the sandwiches were enjoyed by all party members. Hints: 1) the 1/2 sandwich and salad bar combo is only 50 cents more than the salad by itself . The plate is smaller with the combo, but it is all you can eat so who cares how big the plate is. If you want to be really cheap, just fill up on salad and muffins than take the sandwich home! 2) when my wife ordered a bowl of gumbo and the salad bar, the kind cashier advised us to in the future order the salad first and add on the soup as a combo. This saved us $3 vs. paying the a la carte price for the soup. The salad bar was fresh and had lots of variety. The pumpkin muffins were, as usual, outstanding and addictive. Honestly, I always try to get part of my order to go just so I can grab a few more bite-sized muffins to throw in the bag for later. To top it off, all dine in orders include trips to the soft serve ice cream machine. They have cones and cups; I usually get the chocolate vanilla swirl topped with chocolate syrup and crushed nuts. All in all, I like this deli chain MUCH MORE than crispers, panera, or the low budget subway. This location is a good representative for this chain, and is great for a semi-quick filling meal at the mall.
