Healthy Meal suggestions for Logan?s Roadhouse

You expect a quality steak from a steak house and that's what you will get. Choose carefully because there are several awesome entree options at Logan's but of course the king of the crop is the steak. You get what you pay for but every one I've had is spot-on medium rare (what I asked for) perfect sear and chew. The only complaint is I want more steak for my dollar. Not that Logan's is way out of a normal price range but it is not a value I'd go to every day. Not to end on the lightest note but the service (and the new plaid shirts) are a welcome change. Always extremely pilot and deserving of a good tip. ;-) I've had the nachos, the fried cheese burger, the garlic aeole steak (limited time) the chicken sandwich and the house sirloin. I've never been disappointed. The drink selection has always been a winner with complex beers, drinkable beers and moonshine cocktails (not too expensive either) Tip: if you can order the Nutter Butter mini bucket, as a child of the 90's it will take you back to the best place in your childhood. It. Is. Phenomenal.

Three of us sat at a bar table at 1pm Sunday. Service was good. The kitchen was slow. We did not order appetizers or dessert. My wife's steak was appropriately medium and tasted good. I ordered pork chops which were overcooked dry and basically inedible. Our dinners were preceded by two caesar salads that were absent of caesar dressing. Literally romaine, parmesan shavings and croutons. Great rolls. Cool atmosphere. We walked out of the restaurant at 2pm. I would not recommend.

I've been here a few times and never had a bad experience. It is a chain restaurant, but still has decent food. I really like their burgers, and their flavored iced teas are excellent.

Reviews on this place are accurate. Went to dinner tonight with a group of friends. Ordered the Logan's Special Sirloin or whatever it's called. Ordered it medium rare and it came out rare. Informed the waitress it was very rare. She said "well, that's how OUR medium rare steaks are cooked. How would YOU like it cooked?!" i said "medium rare, like most places do it?" the steak ended up having to be cooked 3 separate times. The second time the steak came out beyond well done and looked like a hamburger patty (see picture) At one point she literally told one of the people in our group "oh I'm surprised if YOU have any friends". Another person in our group had chicken tenders that were very hard and dry. The waitress then said she was leaving and another waitress would be taking over our table. When we were ready for our checks, the new waitress said the previous waitress did not bother to tell her who had ordered what so all 8 of us had to explain what we ordered, from beers, to sodas, to apps, and entrees. When we received our checks, the new waitress had added items from ine persons check onto other checks. While leaving, we saw our 1st waitress still in the restaurant helping other tables. Worst service any of us have ever experienced in a restaurant.

Logan's just blew it big time and lost loyal customers. My wife and I used to eat at Logan's quite frequently and the food was always awesome. After not going for about 6 months, we ate there last weekend and it was as good as ever. We just went there again today and it was absolutely terrible. The first thing we noticed was the menu changed between last weekend and today. A lot of the seafood combos Shannon normally orders were no longer on the menu and the ones which remained had gone up close to 50% in price from last week. We started with the nachos appetizer. Gross! It was nothing like it used to be. The nachos used to have melted cheese on them. Today it was a little shredded cheese and about a half a jar of nasty grocery store queso which made the nachos taste like vomit. We didn't eat more than a few bites because it was so putrid. Afterwards our Caesar salads came out... without croutons and very little dressing. Basically a bowl of lettuce. We had to ask the waitress for croutons and she acted surprised that we would want croutons on our salads. Then the main course arrived. I ordered a "Logan" 11 oz steak and baked potato and Shannon ordered a 6 oz steak with shrimp. We both ordered our steaks medium well. Mine came out medium we'll but Shannon's arrived just this side of rare. It wasn't even pink on the inside, it was still red and bleeding. She sent it back and they brought it back out in less than 5 minutes and it wasn't much improved. Still bloody but pink now instead of red. Since I was already full after only half my steak, I gave Shannon the rest of mine. When the waitress finally brought the check, it was just a receipt. No black book with the receipt and a credit/debit card holder, just a receipt. I gave her my card and she brought back just the card and receipt, still no book. We paid $70 for our lunch and it was absolute crap. Awful food combined with higher prices and bad service makes us less inclined to go back and eat there again. Actually, it's a safe bet we will not be back anytime in the immediate future.

I've only been once with my parents. Haven't gone back because they're too pricey for not a great meal. Not enough food for what we paid. Plus half our dishes were cold when they were brought out. I didn't like the taste of the shrimp. Shame since it always smells good when driving by!

Food was horrible and 4 of 5 of us got sick within 2 hours of eating at this place. It was so bad that we filed a complaint with the health dept. I had to send plates back because they were dirty, order was wrong and server was terrible. By far one of the worst places I have ever been to and I have been at several Logans around the country. I will never step foot in this one again. I also noticed that they have little to no customers. I think it's just a matter of time before they go out of business which serves them right for providing terrible food and horrible service.

Surprised by all the one star reviews. First time visitor today at lunch. I was immediately seated and server appeared farily promptly with rolls and to take drink order. Server was efficient enough, I guess, but not personable at all. He just sort of grunted his words with a blank expression on his face. Anyway, wanted to try a couple of things since I had never been here before. Got the nachos appetizer $7.99. It was a large portion, basic nachos supreme you can get anywhere......pretty good but not spectacular. Also got the baby back rib basket for $8.99. It only came with three (3) ribs and a small hand full of fries. I loved the ribs though. Very meaty, just falling of the bone but not over-cooked, great flavor. Although I've had better meals before, I wouldn't hesitate to return and try some more items, particularly one of their steaks. I left satisfied.

THE WORST SERVICE!!!!! I had a large party granted, but it took us an hour to get even seated, and then after that it took them 23 minutes on the dot to even take our drink order!!!! Will never eat here again!!!! I have ate at one in little rock, hot springs, and Kansas City, and they were great, but the management and lack of care has made this establishment into a hellish restaurant that is completely awful with customer care!!!

I decided earlier in the week to take my lovely lady on a date. Up the street from my lair was this quaint little steak house. As we walked in I felt as if I was walking into a wannabe Lone star. We were quickly seated and a very friendly waitress served us. But as most people know a wait staff patron who doesn't"t write your order down is either really good at their job or attempting to impress you for a better tip. To start off we ordered the potato skins which I heard were very tasty, and I was feeling the need to satisfy my protein crave with a steak. I ordered their porterhouse and my lovely lady sitting across from me ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs. We were served our salads and the skins were no where to be found. The en tree's came and the steak was bland!?! This being a steakhouse you couldn't possibly fathom a steak being bland. In attempt to salvage an already bad impression I tried my Love's ribs. My heart sunk as my attempt of salvage was shot down without remorse. As our dining experience came to an end our waitress brings us a basket of rolls. Out of curiosity I ask what they were for since neither one of us ordered it, and the waitress says, "oh, these were supposed to come with your drinks, but I had forgotten to bring them." My appetite was gone and neither one of us wanted to-go boxes. I paid my meal and walked to my car with my heart sunk. My protein craving pitifully filled and the potato skins forever missing from my deserving taste buds. I don't think I'll be visiting Logan's for quite some time but when I do I hope I will be able to update my review with better thoughts and rating. A attempt at a romantic night was lost to a terrible dinner. My dear Logan's I wish you adieu....

My significant other and I decided to try out this establishment approximately 2 weeks ago since it is relatively new to the Conway area. Upon entering it appeared to be reminiscent of other western peanut-shell-on-the-floor chains (i.e. Texas Roadhouse, Colton's, Lonestar, etc.). The atmosphere was nice and lively, and it seemed like a steady Sunday afternoon, but definitely not a busy one. We were seated promptly, but that's where the good experience ends, sadly. We waited approximately 5 minutes for our server to come by and take our drink order. He seemed very flustered and, even though it did not appear his section was full, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. He took the drink order, but reappeared 3 minutes later to re-confirm it. During this time our rolls/butter appeared. He resurfaced again 5 minutes later with our incorrect drink order, but we decided to suffice and not wait another 10 minutes for correct drinks. We were ready to order, but our server mumbled something incoherently about being sorry and said he would be back soon. About 7 minutes later he reappeared to take our order, and continued to mumble as he talked with us. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. During our wait, the manager could be easily heard yelling at the waitstaff from the kitchen, causing talk among other patrons. Approximately 50 minutes later, after everyone around us already had their appetizers and were finishing their entrees, our appetizers finally arrived. He brought salads by and asked us who had which one, and we told him we did not order salads, he apologized for the lengthy appetizer wait and the mix-up. Moments after our appetizer was brought out, another server asked if it was alright to bring out our entrees since they were already ready as well. We agreed, and at the next available moment we flagged down our server and asked for 3 to-go boxes and the check--we had lost our appetites. Our server brought us said items, and also brought us an extra order of wings for our inconvenience, although no other food items were comped from our bill. The food we did sample while there was very good. We do not blame the server for this whole experience, but yet wonder how this trip could have gone so horribly awry. Hopefully it was a one-time error, but we will be very hesitant to return again.

It's good food but this time I felt like I got food poisoning from them. All the times before this time I never had food poisoning from them. I hate they have the peanuts on the table and it seem like they never chance them out for fresh ones.

Will never go back. Seated promptly, then everything went south. Our orders were mixed up. We asked repeatedly about our food, starting at one hour from time of ordering. At an hour and a half, in a not even half full restaurant, we finally got our cold food. Really? Why didn't they just bring it when it was hot? Manager didn't seem too concerned. At this rate, she won't have to be concerned with her job much longer. I don't see them getting any repeat business. They sure won't get mine.
