Ta Molly's is a budget Mexican food restaurant. That said, I generally love these types of places. If the salsa is good and the food is tasty and hot, then I'm all set. On this visit, the retried beans had seasoning issues due to problems with a new cook. Service was great and the salsa was tasty. I'd definitely come back and give it another try.

Fast friendly service got our food fast and hot portions on the chimichanga are bit small. Enchiladas where good

I really enjoy this restaurant. The salsa is in my top 3 favorite and the chips are my favorite out if any Mexican restaurant I've eaten at. The food is average. Price is a little more than what it should be on some items, but environment is nice and the staff is usually very friendly and prompt.

One of few choices near our hotel, this restaurant offers bland Mexican food in a tired environment. Staff were very nice & proactive. Prices were reasonable. The issue is the food - fast food Mexican has more taste.

The service was friendly and the decorations were lovely. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was the worst Mexican food that I have ever had. The meat was too dry and spicy to eat, the taco shells were stale and most of the food stayed on our plates. I really didn't think you foul up Mexican food, but they managed to. Sorry.

Well, my husband was craving enchiladas and this place popped up. We'd never heard of it but it was late and we had been on the road for 3 hours. So, we stopped here. Both of us ordered the enchilada plate and I was surprised at how chewy my enchilada tortillas were. Beans were good rice was ok. But, the star of the meal was not good. Prior to us being seated, a couple of ladies walked out and told us the heat wasn't working and it was too cold to stay; outside it was about 35 degrees. It was chilly inside but we were already bundled up nice and warm due to the weather so we were able to handle it. Service was ok. Nothing special. The really surprising thing about this place is that there is a gluten-free menu, but you have to ask for it. Would I stop here again? Only if there was no other place to go.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
