This place is great. Fast service, and the food tastes like grandmas cookin'. Make sure you make it on a Wednesday night, it is breakfast night with some good ole chocolate gravy 'n biscuits!

Definitely a great place to go if you want good Southern down home cooking. I had the boneless fried chicken breast with green beans, okra, and banana pudding. The chicken was tender and juicy. The green beans were cooked and seasoned well, none of that "bite left" nonsense. The okra not too greasy. The banana pudding was my only 'eh' moment simply because I like cold pudding and their's was served warm. It was sweet, had a meringue on top, didn't taste bad but I grew up with it cold and with whipped cream on top. Had I gotten the meat and 4 I probably could have had enough for an entire other meal. It was a lot of food for not a lot of money.

I make it a point every time I travel through this town to stop here for dinner. Today, I got a vegetable plate and over whelmed by the fast friendly service and not to mention the delicious food. I simply will not for get the fried okra that I had here as it was the best. The other vegetables were good too. It located right off the highway but can be missed if you are not paying attention. The Yelp GPS took me way out in the country to a house for my first visit. Today I turned in an adjustment. Now, expect more reviews from this great "Cracker Barrel" type restaurant.

I have eaten here on several occasions and really love home cooked food but I think they just open a can and heat it up! I think my husband an I got food poisoning from the chicken an dressing on our last visit..... Needless to say we haven't returned.

We love this place. The price is great and the food is surprisingly good! A few of our favorites are: chicken salad, country Fried steak, fried squash, fried okra Mexican cornbread and sweet potato casserole. Yum. Super quick service, too!!!

We stopped for dinner and certainly glad we did. If we are ever through this area again it will be a definite stop! The food was good and cheap! Usually small town people are extremely friendly but don't expect that here... Don't let that keep you from stopping though!

We visited here while in the area on the recommendation of our host and we were not disappointed. It is southern cooking, with great friendly service. I had the fried catfish, fried okra, hush puppies and slaw, everything was fresh and hot. Some of the best catfish I have ever had, moist and tender. My husband had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and gravy, slaw, tater tots and Texas toast. Again everything was served hot and was very tasty. This is not gourmet, it is what it is. But it is done right and we enjoyed every bite.

ONE OF THE BEST Meat & Veggies Diners I have eaten at. I live in Huntsville, AL and will drive all the way to Tuscumbia to eat at Momma Jeans. Thursday night is my favorite because it is Chicken & Dressing night. I hear Chicken & Dumplins night is their 2nd busiest night, but we have never made over to try it. There veggie selections are incredible. One of my favorites is the Fried Okra, tastes just like my Grandma's who if alive today would be 100. I have tried most of the veggies, Pinto Beans, Lima Beans, Green Beans, Mashed Taters, you name it they are all good. Desserts here are very good, if they have not sold out by the time you arrive. Very homey atmosphere and quick seating. Nice for a small family gathering of 20 or less. They have opened a 2nd location on Hwy 72 near Elgin, but we have not tried it yet. If you are in the area or passing thru this is a great place to grab a bite to eat.
