Best New York style pizza in Troy. The herb crust is amazing And the way they advertise is with a guy In a pizza suit playing a sing like a guitar and he is rocking out on the corner.

Seriously the best pizza I've had since visiting NYC. Their chicken Parmesan is pretty good too. And Jose and his staff are top notch.

The best authentic New York Style pizza you can get in the south. Also, the only place in Troy that delivers bacon chesseburger!!!!!

Not a bad place for pizza, if you like "New York style" pizza -- this is important, as this style of pizza is a bit "softer" and "floppier" than other pizzas that you might be used to in other parts of the country. But it tastes great! And I have to say it's seriously cool to have a "local" pizza place in town that's not part of a national chain! And for that, I'll keep buying pizzas from them.

In response to my previous review, the owner Jose contacted me through Yelp and graciously offered to make me another pizza on the house to earn my support. I appreciated the gesture and took him up on the offer today. This time, the veggies were decently fresh and the pizza was assembled with care, so my experience was a step up from the last, for sure. The seasoning on the herb crust was nice, but I still wasn't blown away by the quality of the cheese or dough. Jose obviously takes great care in the product he makes, but I stand by my original assessment that the website's claim of "high quality fresh ingredients at a value you can't compare" is inaccurate. The bottom line is that with gourmet pizza prices I expect a gourmet pizza, but that isn't what My Mama's Pizza Plus has to offer. Still, I'm really impressed at Jose's confidence in his product and his willingness to make a bad situation better. For me, professionalism like this goes a long way. Props!
