Stopped here for a late lunch after geocaching down Hwy 43 *(note...there is nothing north of here on 43). Pros: Good shrimp bisque, mufaletta was great, and lasagna good. Servers friendly if a bit lost. Cons: Appetizer came out after we'd finished our meal, crayfish dip and eggplant chips were horrid (though to give them credit they did remove from our bill since we took one bite and sent it back), the pizza was so greasy a 12 year old boy wouldn't eat it, and service a bit slow even though they weren't busy. Not bad....but probably won't go back.

Great food I seem to always get the same thing spaghetti and meat balls I'm a simple kind of guy lol large portions huge meat balls with there sauce is really good as well. They start you out with warm bread sticks and bring your food out pretty quick well worth stopping in.if your feeling spicy ask for one of the rooms in the back lol

This was my wife and I first visit and from the start we received great, prompt, friendly service (Laura was our waitress). The food we ordered tasted great - crawfish pasta, grit sticks - the best! Great little place, quite and just right for a Saturday lunch with your lady! If we lived nearby we would be regulars at this place :(

This is where the locals (church crowds and college students) all the way from Mobile, Bay Minette, and Satsuma eat. Pintoli's is a great mix of Italian, Cajun, and Creole cuisine. (Crawfish pasta and muffulettas) It has a cramped dining space, upbeat music, and very busy after the Sunday crowd. The four star rating is based on a comparison to other local offerings. You won't find better in the area, and toasted muffulettas like this are hard to find anywhere. The bread sticks that accompany the meal are buttery and have a much better flavor than, say, Olive Garden (the flavors of OG's breadsticks are salt, garlic salt, and salty liquid butter). Pizza is king here, but I loved my lasagna. It was hearty and filling.

Quaint and relaxing after a very long drive. We loved the food and our waitress Kristin was full of charm! She was so attentive to all we asked for. Great service, breadsticks, marinara, crawfish pasta and lasagna. It was only 5 miles from our hotel and turned out to be a moderately priced romantic evening in sweet home Alabama. We enjoyed leftovers too. Portion size is great. Best dinner experience of our 7 day road trip.

I like to be fair in my reviews. I judge a place based on the location it's at. If I'm in a small town or on a road trip I rate with an amount of leniency. If I'm in a city with a restaurant cornucopia they get a slightly tougher critic. This place based on a road trip review is a five star. While the servers seemed a bit frazzled from I can only guess the after church crowd that filled the place they were still pleasant and quick. The food was a nice surprise for a random road trip stop, bonus that it came out very quick. I ordered the muffaletta which came out hot and pressed like a panini. Yum, I've not had a toasted muffaletta before but I really liked it. I wish the olives were more mixed olive tapenade instead of just green olives but it was still very enjoyable. The shrimp bisque was the richest soup I have ever tasted and I could not finish it, even though it was delicious I just wasn't ready for that much dairy. All in all I liked it, I would eat there again if I lived there and if I'm driving by again I would stop for lunches or dinner. Good, solid, road trip/small town food. Only wish they had more vegetable offerings but I know veggies get expensive for restaurants.

Well worth the 10 mins it tacked onto our drive when passing through north Mobile heading south to the beach. I love finding great local places, and avoiding the other beach tourist crowds was a big bonus!! The plain exterior doesn't begin to do service to the charming Italian interior, but that is usually how the best things in life are presented. The amazing sautéd garlic & marinara aromas that hit you the moment you walk in the door act as promises of the good things to come. The staff was super friendly and really attentive. The menu was full of Italian classics with a little southern creole flair. The appetizer menu reads like a smorgasbord of top bar craving faves, which lead to a difficult choice for me. As I'm frequently a grazer that just orders a couple apps instead of an entree, this was as close to stress as I'll allow on the weekend. Doing their part to make sure no stress entered my sacred weekend, the wonderful waitress provided some really tasty garlic bread and marinara as a house treat. After reflection, I feel like we made the right choice though bc the fried grit sticks with garlic aioli dipping sauce was yummy. Yes, I said grit sticks...who knew?? Perfect southern comfort food mix of crunchy, creamy and definitely flavorful. After that appetizer, for the main course I was in the mood for seafood pasta with some kind of crunchy twist. They had a crawfish Alfredo fettuccine that caught my eye. Looking through the appetizers I had noted that my closest runner up -- the one that had caused all the indecision in the first place--was fried eggplant with crawfish Alfredo dipping sauce...so I asked if they minded a special order to add fried eggplant to their crawfish pasta. It was perfect. I'll definitely be adding Pintoli's to my beach road trips in the future.

Very nicely done. Crawfish pasta plated beautifully and tasted even better. The wife said the pizza slice was excellent, thin and crispy. Stopped on a whim but we we're not disappointed.

Food and service was great. We had chicken parmigiana, meat lasagna and spinach lasagna. Portions were large and fresh. Garlic bread was hot out of the oven. Our waitress was very attentive.

After getting posted to Mobile, AL, I was told by the coworkers that this was the place to eat nearby. They were right. This place is good. Almost as good as Little Italy back home. Cozy place, great service

Homemade bread sticks and tomato sauce sweeten our trips here. The pastas and soups are delicious. The salads, sandwiches and pizza are good as well. The menu does not usually change, so I would wish for a bit more variety. There is a couple's room for romantic dinners, a family room for parties, and the Sunday brunch is always packed. They have a nice outdoor seating area for pretty days.

The food was really good, got the muffaletta (it would be amazing if the bread were toasted) but it was really good and gone so fast. Lol My only complaint was that we had to ask for everything from menus to silverware, napkins, to go boxes and the check. He was very nice and they were a little busy, but that was kind of annoying.

In the midst of another epic road trip, the clerk at our hotel recommended this place. Given that they deliver, my husband and I quickly decided to give it a shot. I am glad we did! The food was great (my 2 year old snagged my chicken marsala - who knew?!?), it came quickly, and they were generous with the bread sticks. If you're in the area for the night, grab your dinner here!

Preface: I'm Italian and cook Italian food quite often. I'm not too generous with Italian restaurant ratings. We Americans definitely ruined this style of food (save pizza), just like we did with Chinese food. This place is simply OK. I go here now and again for lunch, but I'm usually never too happy with it. First of all, it's your basic American style Italian food, so don't go expecting anything authentic, nor even any attempt at authentic. I mean, they serve things like jalapeno poppers, mozz sticks and other bar style foods (Bleh!). So their fryer is in full service...Now that's American. They serve nice greasy breadsticks with marinara for every meal. They have their place and can be quite good when you're in the mood, but if you're susceptible to heartburn beware. Their salads are serviceable enough but you're paying a premium for them. I haven't had a chance to eat their pizzas yet, but I'll probably update my review to add that information at a later date. It's everything you would expect in a generic Italian place, pasta dishes with spicy marinara drowned in plenty of salty cheese. It's all good if that's what you're into - everything a growing boy needs (growing sideways). I'm giving it three stars (instead of 2) because I know they're catering to their clientele with this one, just know what you're getting into. It's fine if you're in the mood for it.

If you are looking for a Sunday champagne jazz brunch, this is not your place. No champagne until 12, so be aware. Also they consider a guy with a guitar jazz...seems more like blues to me! A bit of false advertising! They also have a lighting issues, more like a strobe light than an intimate lighting. Basically, this place is nothing special in the way of breakfast.
