Recently visited 03/07/2012 Instant mashed potatos, canned gravy...cold mac/cheese...canned veggies...one of the worst quality lunch buffets that I have ever experienced. Fried chicken was OK, no seasoning. Tasteless butter substitute used as condiment. Peach cobbler used canned peaches vs frozen with gobs of flour filling....bad....Why would they advertise Southern Soul Food Home Cooking? Would not return. Bobby

Best fried chicken I've had in a long time!!! People come for miles around. It's a little hole in the wall, (house converted into a restaurant) but the rocking chairs on the front porch are awesome. $11.00 all you can eat buffet and down home southern favorites cooked to perfection!

Well, it was quick and hot. Unfortunately the vegetables were bland and much like school cafeteria food. I'm a vegetarian so I was disappointed. No need for 2nds which is a good thing for my figure. The only things that were good was the fried chicken, roast beef and rolls per my companions. Staff was friendly, environment seemed clean. I'll try another place next time I'm in the area.

I ate lunch here on a Friday with some friends that are locals. It's a Southern style cooking buffet for $10. They had items such as: cole slaw, potato salad, gumbo, fried chicken, fried fish, peach cobbler, and nanner pudding etc...... This is truly a place I can get my "fat boy" on. All in all a good place in the middle of Robertsdale, AL.

Saw the sign that said award winning country cooking. ALMOST mediocre at best. Award winning out of the can, maybe. Huge disappointment and a total waste of time and money.

Went for breakfast and although it says here that it isn't open till 11:00AM today it was open at 9:00 AM when we went there. This place could really improve if they just cleaned the windows. The eggs, bacon and hash browns were good and the price was really good. They had to redo my wife's eggs not done enough but fixed it no hassles. We are planning on going back to try the Fried Chicken everyone talks about. Friendly staff.
