This small restaurant in Robertsdale is sure to please anyone who enjoys a small atmosphere and amazing food. This gem is located just off the busy Hwy. 59 but you would't know. Small and tight quarters add to the fantastic atmosphere. Wait staff along with the hostess were all phenomenal. As far as the food goes, well, it was just flat out wonderful. I enjoyed a Filet oscar style which turned out to be one of the best cooked pieces of meat I have ever enjoyed. The wine list, although limited, is very diverse and well rounded with quality choices. The only downside is due to the small atmosphere is the amount of noise that can accumulate due to al larger party. Overall, great place to eat and we will definitely be joining again. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great meal and a romantic/quant atmosphere.

Very pleasent! I love the "up scale decor" with the non upscale prices. Everything is home made food wise. I had the Whiskey Steak, it was AMAZING. I found not a single issue here. Its the local areas best kept secret. Charming. Welcoming. Fantastic.

This is one of my favorite places. I have ordered shrimp and grits at many places. This is leaps and bounds over any and all that I have ever eaten. The whiskey ribeye is delightful. The service is as good as it gets most nights, not always, but most nights. I highly recommend this place to eat. I have never had a bad meal here.

We were looking forward to dining at Ivey's based upon all the positive reviews so we headed there for lunch. The restaurant was not very crowded but took us at least 10 minutes to be greeted and seated. Once seated it took 15 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. When she finally came we ordered our drinks and food for a fear that it would take another 15 minutes for her to return for our food order. I ordered the rib eye steak and my wife ordered the pecan chicken. Once we ordered, the waitress brought what looked like Melba toast that was broken into very little pieces. The presentation looked horrible with some of the pieces tasting ok but a far majority of them were burnt or over seasoned My steaks was properly cooked medium rare but was soooooo salty and full of gristle that the steak was ruined. My baked potato was so cold the butter did not melt. My wife's pecan chicken was improperly prepared and had to be sent back. When it finally arrived the pecan flavor was fine however the restaurant used some sort of sickening sweet syrupy glaze that almost made it inedible. The food was way below average when you think of fine dining and the service was horrible. We will not be returning.

This is a sleeper folks! Awesome food! The bourbon Ribeye steak was so delish! My friend got the orange glazed Salmon and she said it was wonderful! I will definitely visit here again! It's in a quaint little town tucked away so don't let this one pass you by! The steak was awesome

Quaint atmosphere and amazing food. A treasure in Robertsdale! I have had steak dishes, chicken Marsala, and fried oysters and grits. The best food available in this little town, hands down.

This is always a lovely place to dine, if a bit out of the way. Typically I will order whatever is the special, or what the chef recommends, We recently had a redfish that was out of this world; however, I do find the sauces heavy. My dinner companion is always pleased because they carry some sort of unusual vodka that he enjoys. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, which is my favorite environment for a delightful meal out.

We were in Robertsdale last week and stopped in at Ivey's for a late lunch. It was great! I had the Pan Seared Salmon which was a nicely seared piece of Salmon served over a bed of Julianne zuchini and carrots in a butter/cream sauce. My wife had the special, Pecan Crusted Chicken served with a large serving of sauteed green beans. A salad and a side of rice came with both dishes. We ordered Bread Pudding to go for later and it was very good. The total even with tax and tip was just $30. There was only one other party there when we were there, but it was really late for lunch--after 3 PM. This place could make it in New Orleans. Their menu is a lot like what you would find in a New Orleans Restaurant.

Excellent lunch, I had a cheese/crab crusted catfish filet with rice pilaf. Good tea, nice ambiance, great service, amazingly low price for the quality of food. I highly recommend.

Delicious seafood crepes. Similar to an étouffée sauce featuring shrimp, crawfish and crab tucked inside two delicate crepes. The portion size was so generous I took half home. The service was good and it had a nice atmosphere including linen table cloths. Only downside was the side dish of white rice which was a little unimaginative but a actually complimented the rich main dish with its plainness. Could have been improved by green onions or sesame seeds. Price was very surprising at just $18 including salad. I'll be looking for an excuse to return.
