Okay, so maybe I'm a little impulsive giving a common chain restaurant 5 stars. But I will say that each and every time we've visited, we have had outstanding customer service by all employees (drive thru and inside) and an accurate and fresh order. We visit about once a month, so it's good to see consistency. On top of that, we have been here at various times of the day - morning, afternoon, and late evening - without any disruption of service. No grumpy employees who are mad people are coming in at 8pm for a donut fix. Happy, happy, happy.

Our first visit to this DD. From reading previous reviews, I expected to find the place run by grumpy idiots who would get our order wrong and slowly serve us distasteful food. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a friendly and efficient crew, who promptly served up our tasty order. Admittedly, we came at 7 pm on a Sunday, when there were few other customers. I got a Blueberry Muffin, and the wife got a creme-filled Donut. She got a small Hot Chocolate, and I got a Cool Vanilla Bean frappacino that they were promoting. My muffin and drink were very good. They were a little on the sugary side for me, so next time I'd try something different. We sat at a table outside, and enjoyed a sunset with our food. Our total bill was $7.58. I could likely have gotten an AARP / senior discount, if I had remembered to ask for it. ;-)

TWICE, yes TWICE......I have been to Dunkin' Donuts in Madison and TWICE they told me that there computers were down and they could accept my Gift Card or my Credit Card. They could only accept cash. Both times were on Wednesday evening around 8 pm or so and BOTH times they said that they were doing their weekly maintenance to their computer. SO, either someone is really dumb for doing ANY maintenance during store hours (they don't close until 10 pm) were you can not accept credit/gift cards. Or something is fishy at that store and someone likes cash. If it was really the computers.....the RIGHT thing to do was to give me my 2 donuts and milk free and apologize for the inconvenience. Instead I had to dig around in my purse for cash ( I never pay cash for anything). Plus I didn''t get my DD points either. I did give them a 3 b/c they are tasty donuts.....but service deserves a ZERO.

Horrible service. This was the second Sunday in a row that service was terrible. My family and I went in their today (8/30/15) around 3:45 P.M. There was one person in front of us. Both employees (teenagers) appeared to be working the drive through only. We waited there for 15 minutes. By that time there were about ten people in line. I never have been to a coffee and donut place that ignored a whole group of people waiting in line. There was no, "hey I will be right with you". Did not see a manager on the premises. After 15 minutes of waiting and no acknowledgement that someone would be with us soon. We walked out the door and drove two minutes down the road to Panera Bread where we were promptly served. Two young employees working by themselves and unsupervised on a busy Sunday afternoon is a recipe for disaster. The manager of this place needs to be fired.

Strike 1. No spicy smoked sausage. Strike 2. No English muffin Strike 3. Order wrong. Home run. Corrected order at their expense.

I love this place. I have never had a bad experience and I drop by at least 3 times a month. Yes, sometimes they are out of chicken salad, but as delicious as it is...I can imagine it's a popular item. Super friendly and adorable staff. I love love love this place. I wish they were closer to my house, but they are well worth the drive. Best coffee, best donuts, and best sandwiches!

Better doughnuts than Krispy Kreme and better coffee than Starbucks, I was overjoyed when a new DD opened less than five minutes from my home! I've probably been here a dozen times already since they opened and always gotten good, quick service and of course excellent food!

Very nice and friendly staff. Amazing donuts! But their glazed ones are not as good as krispy kreme. The store is alway clean and has a very nice atmosphere. They have free wifi.

I've really tried to like this place. I've been there several times since they're just around the corner. Each time I think something along the lines of "maybe it's because they're still learning." Well, I've given up on that theory. Their coffee is fine. Their donuts are pretty good although a little on the dry side in my opinion. I'm wonderful if they don't make them on site. Here's a quick recap of my last few experiences: We ordered two large coffees and 2 egg and cheese biscuits. The girl made two small coffees by accident. When we finally realized the coffees up there were ours, my husband asked and said they were wrong. The girl behind the counter said, "well just take those instead." We just took them since it wasn't worth our energy, but we did pay for large coffees. If it were the other way around, then the girl would have done the right thing by letting us take a size larger than we ordered. This wasn't the case. Then we get home to realize they put frickin' sausage on our biscuits. We don't eat that stuff. At the very least, we've been through the drive through 4 times asking for egg and cheese biscuits, specified "no meat" and still received one with cheese glued to a piece of meat. It's bothersome since I usually feel that it's not worth complaining or arguing over $3 nor driving back to the place, but this happens entirely too often. I understand mistakes, but this poor service is more of a habit I think. Last Friday was the last straw. I ordered a dozen donuts through the drive though on my way to work. The total was maybe $11. I handed the girl a 10 and a 5 dollar bill. She stared at me, the said, "OH! do you want change? You look like you want change." I looked at her confused since this was a first for me and said nothing. She just said, "Nevermind, just forget it." Seriously? I wasn't having anything made and am happy to tip when it's earned or deserved (when I order something complicated.) But I got a dozen donuts through a drive through window. Not only that, but I still wouldn't tip 40% if I felt the donut order was a little complicated. The girl acted like my want of change was absurd. Please chime in if you agree, because I may have missed the memo on tipping when grabbing fast food. Once again, I didn't feel like telling a manager or anything. I just wanted my change and to get out of that place. For the record, when I described the gal who did this to my husband he said, "yea she's the same one who's been rude to me several times." I understand bad days at work, but it takes some talent to be rude when your interactions with people are so brief. And like I said, this wasn't one bad experience (or even all of them.) Maybe it's just me and that I should learn my lesson not to succumb to the convenience of the place.

I do not understand why people are so excited about Dunkin Donuts. I have been here twice and will not step foot in here again. First of all, the donuts all taste dry and both of my visits have been during prime morning hours. There are much better LOCAL options just down the road from this location. Also, their prices are ridiculous and they always make a big issue about taking coupons that they supposedly issued in local mailings. As I said, we will not be back as they are overpriced, have poor service and have a mediocre product. Take your money elsewhere and stop getting ripped off here!
