You know those Monday nights when you're like, "dinner? screw it - let's order something..."? Well I had one of those this week, and the winner of the who-will-accommodate-my-too-lazy-to-cookitude was Hungry Howie's in Helena. The place just opened recently in our location, and more importantly delivers as well, so we decided to give 'em a shot; and I'm glad we did. Howie's is slightly different than most pizza places (at least as far as pizza goes) because it offers flavored crusts, which might sound a bit overkill when reading about it but trust me, it's spot on. The available flavors are Sesame, Butter Cheese, Butter, Ranch, Cajun, Garlic Herb, Onion, and Original, all offered in the prize of the pie - no extra costs included. I was (like a typical guy) ready to order 8 pizzas at once in order to try 'em all, but the wife (of course) vetoed that decision, and we went with a couple of pies instead - one with Butter and the other Garlic Herb - and an order of "Howie Bread" (which tasted like it was made from a Butter crust). The pizzas were both great, although I think we leaned towards enjoying the Butter crust out of the two the most - the Garlic Herb crust is good, but is very true to its name; if you like Garlic (and a substantial amount of it), you'll be in crust heaven if you go that route. Despite our preferential lean though, everything was 100% "nom" and we won't hesitate to order from HH again soon... I mean real soon... like after this review is done... or maybe even before. After all, we've got 6 other crusts to try, and I ain't gettin' any younger... :)

This is really good pizza at a cheap price. They have fresh crust and offer it in several flavors. And, the cinnamon dessert is great! HH is our family's favorite!

This is great pizza for the price. Consistent quality, clean store, courteous staff. We eat Hungry Howie's regularly and love it. Family tradition - pizza & Star Trek.

The crust we ordered--butter with garlic herb was disgusting!!! There were clumps--big clumps of garlic on the crust and even onto the pizza. Have ordered this crust at other locations and it was fine. Will never use this location ever again!!

Some colleagues and I ordered food from Hungry Howie's on two seperate occasions as it's close to our office, and both times my food was not made to my order. If you're going to order from here, I suggest you check your food BEFORE you leave. Also, their buffalo wings are not actually wings. Rather, they are more like chicken nuggets and you have to ask for buffalo sauce as an extra. I don't think they charged us for it though. All in all, I gave it two chances and both times were terrible. Never again.
