Decided to give it a try since I had a certificate from Restaurant.com . Asked if it was any good and was told that they no longer accepted them. OK, decided to stay and eat anyway. Note on menu said that they charged $2 extra if paid by credit card. Just happened to have enough cash so stayed to eat. After we had driven 24 miles to get here seemed like the thing to do. We both had the fried shrimp which were actually pretty good. Also had coleslaw and fried okra. Coleslaw just so so but I am sure the okra was fresh instead of that frozen stuff brought in a large reefer truck. Liked that but I am an okra lover. Yeah, I know! Wife had sweet potato fries and onion rings. Onion rings fresh made and good. She liked the sweet potatoes also. Was told by a merchant in town that the steaks are very good. Owner did give us 10% off bill because of the certificate.
