I was in on Saturday September 12th and I will never be back. I got up and walked out shortly after being seated. The kitchen staff was walking out into the front house acting intimidating and like thugs it made us very uncomfortable. I can't say anything about the food but the staff was horrible.

Ate there 3/19/15. Pizza was awful. The mushrooms and green peppers were placed on top of the pizza after it came out of the oven. The mushrooms and green peppers were cold. I will not eat there again. The first time was good. The next three times were awful. Only reason I stopped by, it's a half a mile from my house. It's amazing they're still in business. At least the kids have a play room and games.

Finally found some great pizza! The gelato was delicious as well. I especially like the crust here. It's a bit different than any I've tried before.

Went there for lunch to meet some friends and family; the location was perfect and that was why we chose this restaurant. We thought it would be something like Mellow Mushroom, but it turned out to be more of a cheap pizza joint (Cici's pizza and such). We were seated promptly and the staff were kind and welcoming. No complaints there. Drinks were filled promptly and our waitress took good care of us. It got bad when food started coming out. The Greek salad was very very basic (Romaine, some chopped olives, red onions and feta); served with House Balsamic Dressing (not bad but what happened to Greek dressing that is normally served with a Greek salad everywhere else?) No crackers or bread on the table. Pizza, ordered by the slice was greasy beyond belief; I do not know how many napkins it would take to dry it out. The crust was below average and the toppings were meh (commercial grade pepperoni and cheese). I would give this place a 1 but the service was decent and caring. This restaurant is definitely on my don't care to ever go back list.

Placed order for chicken wings to go. Got them back to my hotel and discovered they were raw inside. Called to complain but could not get a manager to the phone. Discovered the root of the issue. Shame, love other locations of this place.

The waitresses are very kind and helpful! The pizza was a disappointment. It was very greasy, undercooked and not worth $18. I guess it could have been worse, but I've had frozen pizzas that were much better. I will try them again because of the staff! Perhaps the calzone is better?

We really love going to this place! The pizza has a soft and delicious crust and their sauce is pretty good. Toppings are fresh and good quality. Sweep the floor is our favorite thus far...they also serve it as an appetizer. We've also tried their wings..they're baked and super yummy as well...we tried the sweet heat and I thought they were amazing! The hubby says the draft is good and we enjoy playing the buzztime trivia while waiting for our food. The servers are also friendly and remember you even after a first visit. Kudos for them...we like that! We have already made a habit of going often...Ive seen many of the same people going over and over. They also have an arcade in the back room that Ive heard is pretty nice..great place for kiddos! They also have daily specials. I'm a regular!

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but is worth going inside. The interior is very nice and clean. The wait staff were prompt and food has always been good. Even tried the gelato, not anything special, but the pizza is what I go back for time and time again!

Been here multiple times! Nice interior at this location, staff was nice, food was delicious, pizza and salad as well as the sandwiches are very delicious. Prices aren't too bad and they have a full bar and lots of different beer on tap!

We weren't familiar with Rotolo's (a chain with 20+ locations in LA, FL and AL) which recently opened in the Eastern Shore Shopping Center in Fairhope. We were pleased to find a large, casual, nicely appointed family restaurant with an extensive menu. We ordered a large (14") Deluxe Combination pizza (pepperoni, Italian suasage, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. We ordered beer (Abita) and wine (Castle Rock pinot noir) and waited for our pizza. We did encounter a bit of a snafu -- our first pizza wasn't baked correctly and the second pizza was mistakenly sent to a party that hadn't been waiting as long as we had. So, we ended up waiting a good 45 minutes or more for our pizza. However, our server and someone from management did explain what had happened each time, apologized profusely and did comp our pizza which, I must say, was delicious and worth waiting for. We knew the restaurant had only been open a few weeks and figured they might still be working out a few kinks, and we appreciated that they do care about customer service. Rotolo's menu includes starters, soups, pizzas, calzones, pasta, sandwiches and wraps, wings, salads and desserts, including a nice selection of gelatos. We think Rotolo's is a great addition to the Fairhope restaurant scene and are looking forward to going there again this week.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
