A friend brought my husband and I a few cupcakes (key lime, red velvet, and Oreo) from Cupcakes Y'all a few weeks ago. They were beautiful! The key lime and red velvet didn't really do much for me (they were a little dry), but the Oreo was delicious. I was a little hesitant to go actually check out the store after reading some of the less than stellar/descriptive reviews, but I was dying for some coffee yesterday, so we decided to stop by on our way home from Publix. There was a birthday party going on with some very small children, so it was a bit chaotic and as a result, a bit overwhelming while we were in there. We took a little bit of time trying to figure out what we wanted and were never made to feel like we needed to hurry up and order. We asked a few questions, and they were all answered quickly and pleasantly. We ended up taking a red velvet brownie, a Maddy bar, and an oatmeal cream pie cupcake to go, along with a latte. I found the red velvet brownie on the dry side and sort of uninteresting but my husband loved it. The oatmeal cream pie was yummy, perfectly moist and not too sweet. The Maddy bar, which I believe is some sort of apple cinnamon concoction, was somehow chewy, crumbly, and crispy all at the same time, and it was my favorite of the three. I'll have to disagree with the reviewer who called this place very spendy for nothing exciting cupcakes. I believe the prices here were: $1.75 for a regular cupcake, $2.75 for a jumbo (which is quite large), and around $3 (the specific price escapes my memory at the moment) for the specialty cupcakes. I am by no means a baked goods connoisseur, but I've had some pretty equivalent cupcakes in different places around the world that were probably twice the cost of these. I found the prices fairly agreeable for the size and quality. I didn't remember to ask where they get their beans from, but the latte was also one of the better lattes that I've had since living in the Fort Rucker area. I have been on the hunt for a good local place to get coffee, and Boldly Going has sort of been missing the mark as far as drink quality and customer service, so Cupcakes Y'all will definitely be my new go-to for coffee and sweets. Thumbs down for no decaf though.

I live in Las Vegas and ordered a cake for my best friend's birthday who lives in Alabama. From start to finish the staff was wonderful and completely fulfilled my order and expectations. My daughter actually had her birthday party here today. There were 10 kids in all. They had a blast decorating their own cupcakes and having some to take home. We opted for just the cupcakes party and brought snacks for the kids. I do wish I had brought drinks. They were provided but they aren't there right away - and kids are impatient! I would recommend bringing some juice or soda and some plastic cups if you have a party here. Otherwise, the kids stayed busy and entertained the whole time. The party area is a good space and there was even a fun game of musical chairs after all the decorating was done. We had an expected late guest and the owner was very accommodating - making sure she didn't miss out on any of the decorating fun even though the other kids had finished up. A+ There is a nice area with plush couches for adults. It gave parents who stuck around for the party a comfortable spot to watch while enjoying coffees. I have also had cupcakes from here before today and I think the price is fair and that they are very well done. We have tried mocha, death by chocolate, key lime, strawberry, and red velvet. All were very good. The coffees are also good and were priced at what I would have expected. I will definitely be back to try some of the lunch options.

This unassuming bakery front houses quite possibly one of the best sweet tooth finds I've had since Pavel's back in Monterey. Cupcakes come in regular ($1.75) and jumbo ($2.25) sizes. There is a cupcake of the day and those normally run about $2.75 and are only made in jumbo sizes. Normal flavors include red velvet, pound cake, peanut butter and strawberry. SOOOOO YUMMY. Any time I come down to visit my family we must, MUST go to this place!

Sorry to be a downer, but this place is just okay. Honestly, if the people running it would be FRIENDLY, it would be a super fun place to frequent. No one ever says hello, they hardly even acknowledge you when you walk in the door, or help you decide what to get for that matter. They are not helpful at all. The cupcakes aren't the greatest and are very expensive. The only one we really like is the chocolate. Customer service is everything, and for being a small business, I think they need to reconsider their attitudes towards their paying customers.

This place is OK. I did not feel a warm welcome when I walked in. Nobody said Hi, nobody was helpful, and nobody seemed to care for my business. Their cupcakes were not extremely good and not too bad either. The key lime didn't taste good and the strawberry was okay. I've been to the cupcake joint in Georgetown (DC area) and their prices weren't as high as these ones and they decorated their cupcakes very well. Their prices are expensive.

Love Cupcakes Y'All! All the cupcakes are amazing, my fav is the mocha. They also serve lunch at very reasonable prices - the chicken salad and soups are great!
