We went for lunch and two of us got the steak lunch special. They were good, nothing spectacular. One guest in our party asked for her catfish to be blackened, which they had done for her numerous times before. This time for some reason, they said they couldn't do it. ?????? While they have a salad bar, it's pretty basic and doesn't really draw you in to purchase it for the extra cost. Our server was nice.

Service was great. Steak was ok, but loaded with fat. Other sides were frozen and heated. Added cheese and bacon bits to fries and paid extra for it. The cheese was a slice of process melted on it and the bacon bits were imitation. Likely will pass on this one next time. Better choices in Cullman

They're food is good but not great. Weren't impressed with their fried pickles but I've got my favorite pegged elsewhere. I just prefer the little extra drive to the Brandin Iron in West Point.

This steakhouse has been in business for several years now, and is by far the best steakhouse in Cullman. The restaurant is a casual dress place with attentive staff, and good prices. Their steaks are handcut daily, and very reasonably sized. Be aware that the menu only shows one size with respect to price. You can get larger cuts for just a few more dollars. Unlike an Outback or other chain steakhouse, these steaks taste like they came off your backyard grill. The meat isn't over spiced or drowned in a sauce. The meat is butchered well and cooked to order. I can't comment on any other dished because as much as I eat there I can't help myself by always getting their steaks. About the only knock I have is the salad bar. It's strictly that, just salad, but then again you don't go to a steakhouse for salad.

They serve primarily steak. Good food at very low prices.
