Very bad service. I had asked for no cheese on my salad and she put it on the salad anyway. When i asked fire a new salad the server gave me attitude about it and she didn't come back with it until half way through the meal and it, again, had cheese all over it. The kitchen messed up my husbands order. We never got a refill on our breadsticks even after asking. The waitress flirted with my husband, little did she know that it was my turn to pay the check. Horrible experience!

Great service! Food was great too. This location is very consistent, and I've been pleased everytime I've visited. There's usually a wait, but that is expected.

Probably the best experience I've had at an Olive Garden yet. I've been to several different locations around the state and I keep returning to this one when I have a chance (and a little extra cash). The staff is great! So friendly and helpful and that is a huge plus in my book. The food is also above par every time I go (and the bread sticks are to die for). Personally, I would recommend the Soup, Salad, and Bread Sticks deal for lunch. I love the Chicken Gnocchi Soup. I think I will be going back there as often as possible.

My sister and I tried the citrus glazed chicken and vegetables and we were very disappointed. It was pretty bland and didn't have the lemon flavor we were expecting. The salad and breadsticks were our saving grace. We left feeling unsatisfied. We decided you should not try to eat healthy at an italian restaurant. Stick with the classics and just eat half of it and take the rest home for later.

Pros: Very lovely atmosphere and food was a large step above other OG's that we have visited in the past. Our waiter might have been the most comfortable and effective waiter we have ever had at any restaurant. I am a diabetic so my wife and I usually order one meal and share. When we told our waiter this he brought everything cut in half and on separate plates. That was above and beyond what we could have expected. Cons: None

This is a fairly new location so it still gets pretty crowded from the Trussville hustle and bustle crowd. I'm not a big fan of Olive Garden just because it's not something I crave, but I enjoy going there with friends and family. So probably, if I were just basing this on preference of a place I would choose to eat then there would only be two stars, but since there wasn't anything wrong with the food at this location then it gets 3. There isn't an entree that I am in love with but I have made a meal from the sampler appetizer with fried calamari, toasted ravioli, and chicken fingers. I enjoy the bread sticks and salad as well. I love the toasted ravioli simply because I haven't found this anywhere else. I don't have anything else to compare it to so if anyone has any suggestions of some better then please let me know. The reason it's on my Top 100 Dishes to Try list: Toasted Ravioli The reason it's on my Little Things list: Fried Calamari Toasted Ravioli Salad and Bread sticks

Our food was okay at this location. Not bad, but not stellar. Took us a little while to get our food this time. Bread sticks weren't as good this time we went. Hopefully we will have a little better experience next time

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
