Welcome to Moe's indeed. This was the first place I can recall that started the walk up and create your own burrito and by now they know what they are doing. The menu is fun with the different pop culture names for everything and they will get you in and out quickly for lunch. My personal favorites are the Joey Bag of Donuts and Homewrecker.

The alternative to chipotle. That sums up my review if you want to stop reading. Best day of the week to go is Monday because of the "Moes Monday." (Which is any burrito for $5.75) I got their regular option burrito, Johnny donuts or something close to that. It was good. Chicken was semi dry but overall tasty. The "hot" salsa is tucked away in the back. It's damn hot. Overall- good spot for quick lunch. But nothing compares to chipotle. Would I go back? Yes. If it was next to chipotle and I had to choose between the two... I would pick chipotle 100/100 times.

"Welcome To Moes!!!" I always thought that was a little creepy. Turns out, not hearing it is even creepier. I almost left because I thought maybe they weren't employees and actually robbers instead. Anyways... unfriendly, unprofessional staff. Overcooked bland chicken. Just a bad burrito...maybe I should have chosen better fillings...or maybe their fillings shouldn't suck. :(

Uh, it really takes a lot for me to give out just one star, but this place really took the cake in terms of dissatisfaction. When we walked in the employee didnt even greet us, she just kept talking to her friend for a bit and pretended not to see us. From there I knew this experience was really gonna blow. Anyway I ordered a regular burrito on wheat, black beans, chicken, cheese, onions, tomato, cilantro, black olives... you know the standard for me. Well once she got all the ingredients, she proceeded to MIX the contents of the burrito making it it look like this brown bean stuff and rolled it. My husband and I looked at each other and thought it to be odd, but whatever. When we tried it, all the flavors were just diminished and just ended up tasting of bean goo. Once those toppings were mixed it killed the soul of that burrito. I'm sorry, that was one of the worst Moe's burritos I have ever had and one of the worst customer service experiences. I am not coming back here, you are better off going to the one near UAB, they can serve a real burrito.

Moes is great. One of the few places like this that will give you free chips and salsa. I like the Homewrecker. Ingredients generally fresh though the pico is sometimes questionable. This is not the best Moes location but is alright

The queso dip was super yummy. I liked the salsa bar with all the options. But the burritos were just....ok. They were big, but bigger is not always better. I think the fillings lacked quality. But my opinion maybe biased...I am just spoiled on Chipotle. I haven't found anywhere else that serves burritos as delicious as Chipolte. However, I would definitely go back to try the nachos since the queso was good. I'll pass on the burritos though.

Moe's did not make it in the actual Southwest, but there are several in Birmingham. I don't understand why anyone would ever eat here when there's a Chipotle in town. The food here is not very good, and some locations are dirty. The beans and meat taste yucky, and the tortillas and sauces taste weird.

I really like Moes. The homewrecker is a lot of food and they give discounts for Samford students. I think this is one of the healthiest fast food options around, depending on what you get.
