Not everybody gets the beauty of Milo's, and that's okay, but I love it as most Birmingham natives do. Simple menu with its own unique, saucy, old-fashioned burger stand-style burgers, seasoned crinkle fries, milo's sauce and awesome sweet tea. I have to go every time I an in the Magic City and so should YOU!!

The burger was bad - def nothing special as some seem to think Overcooked, burnt bun, sauce wasn't that good - sorts like a sweet a-1 Maybe this place is just nostalgic for people in the area I will say this - the fried apple pie was good - like the ones from mcdonalds years ago.

2 out of 3 in our party were pretty displeased. Dad: this is the worst burger I've ever eaten. Sister: it sucks. Mom: I liked it. (I myself ate chick-fil-a.)

After reading all these rave reviews by fellow Yelpers, I HAD to see if the Iced Tea at Milo's was as divine as everyone was claiming it was. Well I have to concur- its heavenly. I'm not sure what makes it so good, but if I were Milo, I would act like Coca-Cola does towards its own recipe. And the hamburgers? They're unique. I'm not sure if the sauce on them is supposed to be BBQ, but whatever it is, it works well with the meat and onions. It is the perfect companion food to the aforementioned tea. The chicken tenders are done well too. Very tender on the inside and crisp on the outside. The fries? Well the bright orange coating they have is a bit scary at first, but not enough to prevent one from enjoying them.

I can appreciate and even recommend you try the unique approach to the standard fast food burger they serve up with a sauce somewhere between aus jus and a1, good crinkle cut fries worth checking out but it you're expecting a five star experience you may walk away disappointed. What it lacks in quality it makes up for in uniqueness, try it to say you have, then go back to the Big Mac.

These Hamburgers were quite good and the milos sauce is what makes them. Its tough to explain what exactly this mixture is but it seems like a very smokey sweet BBQ sauce. Their sweet tea was also quite good here so if you go make sure you get a combo meal with a double milo hamburger if you have the room for it. A unique burger for sure and a must try if you are in the area.

Very friendly staff and clean experience. The food just isn't great for me. I like the unique take with the gravy/sauce on the burger, but it feels like too much sauce. This is better than McDonalds but not as good as Wendy's. The peach pie and tea are delicious, no doubt about that. If you must eat a fast food burger and Wendy's isn't available, give it a try. Some people love it.

My Alabama native pal told me to go here and I feel badly that I don't love it as he does. It's just a fast food burger and crinkly cut fries. The much-celebrated bbq sauce is bland and un-exciting. The much-celebrated mystery red-spice dusted upon the crinkle-cuts, is flavorless. When fast food is highly touted, I expect In 'n' Out impressiveness. It was an enjoyable cultural experience, but the food is nothing special. Although, I did enjoy the grilled bun.

The place is unique. Founded in Birmingham, it features a burger, that yes has a small extra piece of meat in the middle. It's not BBQ sauce but I can't really say what it is. I can say it's great to dip your fries in. If you're not from around here, then give it a try.

We went to visit friends in Pinson. They love food as much as we do! So we were SO EXCITED to see the various restaurants they call their favorite. I love burgers. I guess you could say I'm a burger junkie! I was promised a delicious burger with "sauce" and sweet tea- and that's just what I got! We can't wait to come back! I wanted to smuggle gallons and gallons of the tea back to Indiana!!!

We were visiting family, had just got into town and were looking for something quick yet good. We checked out the reviews and Milo's seemed to be the place. The burgers were not what we were expected at all. Maybe they would have been better if they were fresh. As far as cheese on the fries we never saw any but at least they were hot. The tea was ok but definately not "spectacular" or "heavenly". Also there was a very peculiar extra little square of meat on each burger. Is this some sort of signature idea? In short we will not seek out another Milo's, stick with Mickey D's.

Not sure what all the hubbub was about. I thought the fries were decent but putting BBQish sauce on a hamburger was less appealing than it sounds. I'm not a big fan of sweet tea so maybe I missed the bus on this one...unsweetened was alright though. I think it's great that Milo's has a local history and I prefer to support local businesses, I just wish it had a more appetizing burger.
