Service was slow and they lacked a little in the care department. The kids are but I decided to wait till we left and I will pick up something I like for later. It took a long time to get one margarita. It did not taste very good, it was the prickly pear margarita. Too sweet! We will not be returning here. They took several it's off the menu that they are known for and their prices are too high for what they are serving. Leaving and then stoping by rock n roll sushi! Yum!

I recommend if your looking for an inexpensive dinnner. A friend and I had the 2 for 14.99. Small portions but was good. Great happy hour specials on appetizers and drinks.

Not sure why there's so much whining about this Logan's, so I'm reviewing to balance things out. I've come here for years, and I've always been surprised at how much food you get for the money. So, it's a good value. A manager regularly walks by each table and checks with guests about their meals. They are VERY busy at peak lunch and dinner times, so best visit before or after those times. There must be a reason why it's usually so busy -- it's GOOD! Overall, I've never had a bad meal here, nor bad service. Get over it, whiners!

I'm not loving this location. Recently a coworker and I visited for lunch. We had a BOGO coupon. She got a fried cheese burger and I got what I usually get, the meatloaf. It took FOREVER to get the food. I think in part because the waitress was too busy talking with her coworkers to go back and check for our food. The food itself was not very good. The first batch of rolls that we got were tough and cold. The meatloaf, which I usually love, had nearly raw onions on it and was kinda watery and almost tasteless. I asked that they put no cucumbers on my salad but they did. My coworker's burger had bacon on it that barely looked cooked. The coupon was a good deal, but I probably wouldn't go back if I had to pay full price. I usually love Logan's meatloaf and rolls, but this location left a bad taste in my mouth.

When I travel to Birmingham for work this is one of my regular dinner stops. The atmosphere is awesome! All you can eat peanuts and toss the shells ( Don't get to do that up north! ). Food is great for the price, service is always good and just a fun place to hang out with friends and clients.

Whatever you do, don't sit in the bar area. I suppose I should put that in the tip section, but it serves as the basis for my review. I usually go to Logan's a little bit after lunch so it's never really crowded or busy. I normally sit in the bar area because I like checking out the news or sports channels while eating. Well, on THREE separate occasions I've had to wait more than five minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I'm even there. Not even a "be right with you ma'am". Five minutes may not seem like a long time but when you're one of only 2-3 occupied tables and and it's a small area and more than one server passes by your table without even saying hello, it's like an eternity. Every single time I've been there the same bartender is working. This is the same guy who told one server that he didn't have time to wait on my table. She was working two tables on the other side and had to come wait on me after I asked the manager who was assigned to my area. That's another thing, if you have to ask the manager who has your table (every time you're there) there's a real issue. Having to wait more than five minutes one time for a server happens to all of us on occasion. Twice? Ok coincidence. THREE TIMES?! Houston we have a problem. ESPECIALLY when it's the SAME bartender who normally only has MAYBE two customers at the bar. He only came to my table one time in all the times I've been there. Two of those times I ended up with a nice young man as my server, but it was forever before I even knew who was working my area. Once he began waiting on me he was nice enough. I think he, like the previous server, thought maybe the bartender had my table. After the third time, I thought it was me. So my boyfriend and I went on a random Tuesday night around 8 pm. Our server obviously didn't want to be there. Didn't crack a smile, looked all around while we placed our order and wasn't very attentive. She acted like she couldn't wait for us to leave. We got a smile at the end, translation: GLAD YOU'RE LEAVING! GOOD NIGHT! Ok so the food. Yea. Well, it's your basic neighborhood bar & grill. Their wings (.50 during happy hour specials) are pretty good. Lots of flavor options and you can mix and match flavors. Their grilled chicken with peppercorn butter sauce is actually pretty good. The rice pilaf that comes with it is quite flavorful. There's nothing "bad" about the food overall and if the service was better I would go to Logan's just because the prices are good for a decent meal. HOWEVER, there's nothing THAT special there that would make me put up with bad service. I can get those same dishes just about anywhere.

Absolute worst ever. 20-30 min wait (with 2 young kids) not that bad for dinner @ 6 pm on day after Christmas, but down hill from there. Dirty table, bad attitude from hostess, manager was more interested in flirting with the hostesses than doing his job, SLOW waiter not to mention that he didn't know how to speak above a whisper, slow on every aspect of service (drinks, salad, bread) waiter from adjacent section had to bring us silverware & to top it off the kitchen doesn't know how to cook a steak properly. Sad coming from a STEAK RESTAURANT. The waiter had maybe 2 additional tables, maybe. Total time at table - 45-50 min. total food eaten - salad. Pretty bad when my 4 year old says, "Daddy let's go get Mexican, they know how to do their job". WOW

Good place, easy to get too. Food is good and the prices are what would be expected at a chain steak place. Free peanuts and you can throw the shells on the floor, (boy, has that been overdone.) Service is generally good. Really, a can't miss place.

Brought family for my kids birthday gathering. Needs more options for larger groups (11) as we were seated at a booth with a table added to try and accommodate the size of the party. Not really comfortable like the large round tables. Since we had to wait an extended time to be seated would have preferred better option. It would have been ok if given the option to be seated faster at this table vs the larger table. Orders were taken promptly and arrived in reasonable amount of time. Orders were accurate. Quantity and taste as expected.

My wife and I had dinner here on Sunday 5/17 and I tell you this place is a poor excuse for a steak house. I ordered the prime rib and I had to send it back twice because they couldn't cook it they way that I ordered it. When they delivered the third prime rib, it was so tough it resembled and tasted like leather. Fortunately each time they brought the prime rib, they also delivered a new order of the my side which were the grilled vegetables and they were great. The vegetables got the star, and my pet dog got the prime rib..

Visited this Logan's during my recent business trip. I don't get to the restaurant until late. The waitress was slow when first arriving the table but was good after that. The food is just ok. I have had better steaks and better sides. As others have said it was just overcooked. Don't think this will be on the go to place next time I'm in town.

Just like all Logan's that I have ever been to, this Logan's holds true to the company's cooking style.. Overcook Everything.. I honestly don't know how a chain of restaurants always seems to overcook food. You would think that one would vary from the other, but not in my experience with this chain. Our fries and the shrimp (from this Logan's), the salmon I ordered from a different Logan's last week, my girlfriend's Santé Fe tilapia (which was burnt black on the bottom) and other times and food types. As for the waitress she was decent when she was around, she forgot part of the order and had to come back, but no worries nothing against her, people forget things. As for my two sides, I only received one.. Which again If I wanted it that bad, I would have asked/reminded her to bring me my other side. The meal was overcooked as I stated before, the shrimp were almost cooked dry and the fries were as close to burnt as you could get. In general I have almost given up on this restaurant chain completely and most likely won't be back for some time if ever. I have posted a picture of my overcooked fries from tonight. (This review was from a visit in February 2013, it was saved as in progress.)
