Every other Wednesday we get donuts for our employees. The past 3 times we've gotten donuts (more than a dozen each time) there is hardly any cream in the cream filled donuts. It's less and less each time. This time there was only about a dime to nickel sized amount. There was a hole that I could clearly see into the donut and no filling until I got to the other side. Also the cream is kinda runny and not fluffy like it used to be. Feeling disappointed.

If you have never been to or tasted a Krispy Kreme, you have missed it! We introduced our daughter to them this trip! She is hooked. It is the vanilla in the frosting!! Wow! It melts in your mouth goodness! My wife likes the cream filled, chocolate dipped donuts. I'm more partial to just plain glazed. Daughter is partial to a glazed, and a a chocolate dipped donuts. Cleanliness is 5/5, service is 5/5. Wish they were in Abilene. Until then, Krispy Kreme is a stop sign in my family.

Nothing compares to the HOT NOW sign being on.......you know you're about to get an amazingly great original glazed doughnut! Every now and then I crave this sweet treat. I know its going to be great, it's a classic, and its always under $1 happy melt in your mouth goodness

Very good! We like this location with seating and more variety. The brownie batter doughnut was wonderful. The glazed version melts in your mouth when hot. The powdered sugar with chocolate creme filled is very good. Everything is always good!

Saturday about 4pm I pulled into the drive thru for 3 dozen glazed...and was told they were out of doughnuts...I asked how long before they have some ready and was told after 8pm.... no other explanation was offered... this place is sinking.... I didnt know what to say after all this is a doughnut shop???

Oh dear goodness, please come here! You can get fresh ooey gooey doughnuts that literally melt in your mouth. My mouth is watering right now. It's in a great location with tons of stuff around to do. A couple of my favorites include the $1.50 Carmike Cinema over on Lorna and The Galleria Mall. I love consuming these calories. It's one of those big branches, too, where you can stand and watch the employees and huge machines craft up these delights. It's hard to pass this place up when the "HOT" sign is on!

I love Krispy Kreme, have for years but today's visit had to be the worst ever. Krispy Kreme #279 Hoover. Hubby went there this morning took forever. I asked him when he got home. Why it took so long, this is what he told me: he stated the girl running cash register was complaining more about the store then ringing people up. She stated she had no help, manager did not know anything about what he was doing, very disorganized, she was going to have to work an extra shift cause they can't keep any help, manager was so disorganized he didnt even know how to make doughnuts and she said this to EVERY person that went to the cash register. He said there was only one girl boxing up the doughnuts and she was so busy she handed the boxes to the customers to take to cash register, usually person who boxes up takes them to state to cash register person what was in the boxes. The doughnuts he brought home where the worst I have EVER gotten from Krispy Kreme: the glazed something was off - glaze was gritty; chocolate covered kreme filled - only had a tiny little bit of cream and bottom of doughnut was plain & dry. This story never has the new doughnuts (carrot cake & banana) This is worst experience we have ever had with Krispy Kreme.

I've decided that Krispy Kreme is where sugar is born. These doughnuts are insanely tasty, and probably the worst thing for a person on the entire planet - that's with eating pure sticks of butter and bobbing for country fried steak in gravy on the same list. But it stands to reason that the worst thing for your body would be addictively delicious. So for those of you lucky enough to have a KK in your vicinity, or even a reasonable distance away (my friends and I would make trips to Montgomery 45 mins away JUST to get KKs), ya gotta drop in on 'em - ESPECIALLY when that "Hot Doughnuts Now" light is a-blinkin'. And this particular location seems to have that light on more than any other KK. I'm sure that's totally inaccurate, but the eyes see what they want to see...lol. I will say, though, that this one's pretty clean, is open 24/7 (ROK ON), and has a creepy-in-the-wee-hours factor of "0" ("1" being, well, the Roebuck location - a little sketched-out...). And you can watch the doughnuts being made as you eat 1 or 12. Entertainment and blood-glucose troubles, all in the same outing - Huzzah! So yeah, keep an eye on that "HDN" light - and then descend upon them. Excellence...

Excellent Doughnut shop. They have the huge doughnut machine working 24/7, which allows you to get the glazed doughnuts, hot and fresh. They have 2 drive-thrus, so you don't have to get out of your car in the morning.
