I love Jimmy Johns. I don't know what I would do without them. The service is always crazy fast. Tables are clean around lunch. Love the variety. I also really enjoy that there are different sized subs from slims to giant sandwiches. For the most part, a majority of the add ons are free too. As a vegetarian, the #13 is fan freaking tastic. It is actually filling unlike the hollow subs at Subway. The smoked provolone itself already makes an amazing sandwich but in combination with the avocado speed it becomes this heavenly creation. I'm not a fan of big chunks of bread so I like it here because they hollow out the bread. It reminds me of a Banh mi. The hours of this Jimmy Johns are amazing too! I love going and getting a late night sub to go. I've had a large order Jimmy Johns delivered to campus for an event a few times and they are always on time and only one out of 20 times did they make a mistake on a sub. Order online the night ahead if you can. It saves a lot of time.

Don't know if their hours have changed but they had the door locked at 11:30. Super bummed I couldn't get a sandwich when I got off work. ;(

Excuse me if I don't get it, but I just don't get it. A cold sub. For how much? Really? But it's cold. There's bread, meat and cheese. All cold. Remind me what part of this I couldn't do myself at home for a fraction of the price. Yea it's fast, cause it literally only takes 10 seconds to shove cold cheese and ham into a sub. It's fast because they're not cooking anything, they're merely assembling it. I hear the cookies are good, but there's Insomnia right next door for that. If you want a real sub, with real meat and flavor, just cross the street and get something, anything, at Firehouse. You'll thank me later.

Sandwiches were made good but you could tell the workers didn't want to be there and they showed it. But the most important part is the sandwiches tasted good!

Just ate lunch here with my family. Food was great but gentleman making the sandwiches acted like he didn't like his job. He was very impatient and was rude.

I love the speedy service that Jimmy John's provides at all of its locations! I ordered on New Year's Eve night while 5 Points South was packed. I placed my order online from a few buildings over. In no time, I had a delicious veggie sub that was made exactly how I specified. The order was ready in less than 10 minutes from the moment I placed it and picked it up! I fell in love with Jimmy John's while working at UGA in Athens, Ga and I'm still in love with this eatery because of its nationwide consistency in taste, customer service, and late night availability!

I'm staying at the Hotel Highlands for a couple of nights, and decided to order a sandwich for delivery since there was a big storm out. Apparently this Jimmy John's is only a block and a half away. I place my order at 5:00pm. At 5:07pm, the delivery man was already knocking on my hotel room door. WOW I WAS IMPRESSED. It really is like their commercial! lol I scarfed down my sandwich and immediately wished I gave more tip. Especially since the delivery guy looked pretty drenched from the storm. Maybe I shall order another sandwich tomorrow and give the tip that is due. Way to go Jimmy John's. Fastest delivery ever. Also the sandwich was delicious.

Usually come here weekly. However, I just ordered a bunch of sandwiches and they all have bitter/spoiled lettuce! Disappointed by their obvious lack of fresh ingredients.

I was so excited when they finally opened locations in AL. Great french bread, fast service, fresh ingredients and testy sandwiches. Finally another option besides the usual Subway on every corner.

I really like Jimmy Johns, but my latest experience was not that great. My friend called in and the man who answered the phone was very rude so I called back and ordered our sandwiches. They guy answered by saying jimmy johns hold, I was on hold for quite some time so hung up and called back and was on hold for a long time again. The person who took my order was extremely rushed which is most likely why our delivery had only one sandwich. The person who delivered told me to call back so I re ordered and after a total of 45 mins we had both sandwiches. There was never a sorry or anything from any of the employees. Not impressed with the service at all, the sandwiches were good as usual.

I have been in love with Jimmy John's since I was a freshman in college. I was thrilled when the franchise came to Birmingham. I could probably eat the Turkey Tom every day of my life. I only wish they would expand their delivery zone.

Absolutely love the sandwiches... had never had them before this location opened. It's great that they deliver to my workplace especially on rainy days (otherwise I could walk). However, when I went to a friend's house only 2 more blocks up the street, I suddenly became out of delivery range... not so great.

A decent sandwich, but there's not anything remarkable that distinguishes them from Subway, Firehouse, Quiznos etc. All cold sandwiches (I believe), and they do deliver ---but if you live within walking distance, then you're almost out of their micro sized delivery area! This chain needs to step up their game if they want to survive in their parking deprived location. Oh yes, I'd most definitely choose them over Subway, but only if the choice were limited to those two.

The Birmingham Southside area is usually a place I frequent pretty often, but I can't say I have ever noticed this restaurant. I just happened to be in the car looking for something different to change up a pretty boring lunch routine. The first thing that I would like to say if fast doesn't begin to explain how this establishment operates. Having only an hour for lunch, sometimes find myself in a crunch to get to the location order and actually have time to eat with some civility. After driving around for about 20 mins trying to decide on a place, then taking another 3 to decide what I wanted, before I finished filling my cup with some descent sweet tea my order was being called. Shut up! I still had 30 mins to get back to work. Now the food was great, lettuce was crisp, tomatos, simply scrumptious and the roast beef could have basically melted in my mouth if I may be cliche. I didn't stay to eat so I can't say much about the envirmoment, it was well laid out and seemed to allow comfortable seating for all dine in guest. The associate were very nice and willing to offer suggestion of their favorite dish. I had an overall great experience and would surely recommend to my closest of friends.
