This place was what I've come to expect as Chinese food in areas that don't specialize in it. It wasn't anything special, it was expensive though. Then again everything here is. I had tofu and vegetables and a wonton soup. I wish the tofu wasn't fried but there were a lot of veggies and they were crisp. I was told the sushi is good, maybe I'll try that next time.

The worst service ever. No one here and they still take forever to take your order and they're rude

On a rainy Wednesday night, I decided to try out Fu Kung based on a coworker's recommendation so I put on my rain gear and walked there. There was one person ahead of me waiting for a table which was weird since the entire middle section was vacant and the right side had 3 tables open (the left side was full). The person in front of me left and I decided to wait quietly on the bench. Several times the older male or female staff would walked by and say, "I'm sorry" and others they would avoid eye contact by looking at the floor as they walked by. After 15 minutes, I politely asked the male if I could be seated and pointed to several open tables, and all I got back was "I'm sorry." Well, they certainly have sorry communication skills and even sorrier customer service. Pretty poor business practice to have wealthy oil & gas customers walk away unhappy, and I intend to spread the word.

This was one of 3 restaurants I could find that were open in late October. Not great, but certainly not the worst American style chinese/japanese/thai food I've ever had. Like just about everywhere else in this town the portions are enormous.

Idk why I came to eat except for the fact I wanted some "asian" food.. big mistake. I've eaten here twice before and left w that "omfg, don't do that again" but food choices are very limited in valdez. The good.. I was sat by a pleasant hostess and got my hot n sour soup very quickly. Probably the best thing I ate. The bad.. spring rolls. Wdf. Seriously, wdf. Took 20 minutes bc the 'sushi chef' was nowhere to be found. No shrimp on it when I got it.. and the noodles were beyond stale. I barely ate one.. it was that disgusting. Kung pao chicken.. idk what they served me but it sure as hell wasn't kung pao chicken. Sauce was bland and had no heat.. someone from the staff yelled some gibberish while serving something.. being Asian myself, acting stupid for no reason just makes us all look bad. All in all, if u don't have to eat here, DON'T. Ur not missing anything u can't get at ur local mall food court.

This is hands down the best Asian restaurant in Valdez. Ok, it's the only Asian restaurant in Valdez. The food lacked flavor but it wasn't bad. Understandable since Valdez Alaska is one of the most remote places in America. It's a cute restaurant, the staff was very nice and they have a good menu to choose from. The beer selection was also good.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
