This place is really good! I love their salads and the food is really good :) I believe the owner was serving my friend and i and she was the most kindest and sweetest lady. I must say that the portions got me really full. I got the beef teriyaki box? & i also got some roll but I forgot the name.. it had the word California and tempura in it. Really good service and great food! 5 stars! :) Go check it out~

Not a lot of options but what they do have is great. Fish is always fresh. The service is always very fast and very friendly. Definitely the best in Fairbanks.

A little intimidating the first time, but once in there, it's fine. The staff are friendly. All the dishes we had were fresh tasting and tasty. Quick service too. Not the cheapest place, but not really out of line for what you get. Recommend, I will be going again.

Mmm... yummy, yum. Tokyo Express is one of our favorite restaurants. We are immediately greeted from the moment we walk in the door. It is a small space but the owners have made good use of it so that I never feel claustrophobic. The service is always friendly. Water is self-serve. The food is very good, especially for Fairbanks, AK, which isn't exactly known to be close to the ocean. Regardless of what you order, there is complimentary miso soup with micro-blocks of tofu. We usually order the spicy bowl, dragon roll, and bento boxes. The bento box is huge-- it comes with several kinds of sushi, tempura, teriyaki chicken, and salad, and arrives in a really cute Japanese style bento box, complete with different compartments. The spicy bowl has rice and all different kinds of fish ... really delicious. The service is really phenomenal. The sushi chef is genuinely friendly and funny and double (triple!) checks to make sure that you truly had a good experience, while the server is really nice but never annoying. =)

Fantastic place. Real pearl. From the outside, it looks bad but inside, the restaurant has a beautiful design. The food is reasonably priced and is very tasty. We even got complementary miso soups. I'll go back there again!

This place really is great and has a big sushi selection. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The fish tasted great and fresh. I will definitely go back. It's true that it looks rough on the outside but is very clean and pleasant on the inside

Amazing sushi and the owners are great. I had a big bull and loved the fresh fish and veggies. The hot sauce hit the spot. Will be going back for lunch again.
