My review is for the Cinnabon's located inside of Schlotzsky's Dimond Store, OMFG!!!! You can place an order ahead of time for special events or catered events, buy a single cinnamon roll, or a box of them, with the awesome cream cheese frosting....butter...caramel...pecans or almonds, you can even order extra toppings. Some times there are the day old rolls that are half-priced that are still amazing and excellent shape as the same day rolls. They come in boxes of either LARGE Rolls of 6 or box of small rolls of 15, same sized box. You will smell 'heaven' the moment that you enter the front door.....it'll never leave your sense of smell memory.

The new system they tried to implement here absolutely fails. The people who run the cash registers take a very long time to input your order, and it takes a very long time to get your food. They try to bring it out to you, but they're really bad about that. They really need to go back to calling numbers to get your food. It just took them about 30 minutes to fulfill my dad's order which was a basic turkey sandwich... that's just terrible. At least they offered him compensation for the wait I'll give them that. Schlotzsky's just really needs to get it together because the food is pretty great.

This is conveniently located so I gave it a try and was very impressed. The cost is under $15 for a meal. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. I normally order a small as I ordered a medium and could only eat half. In summary, speedy service, great food and reasonably affordable makes this a great lunch break.

We came here bc we were in the area, pretty hungry, and had a coupon from the northern lights book. I would not come back! I got some turkey Italian on ciabatta. The flavor was generally good, but I really didn't like the quality or texture of the turkey. It was the texture of canned chicken. They were not a fresh deli at all! They are the lowered end of the fast food spectrum. It was my first time and expected a bit too much I guess :/ we won't be back, even if we do have a coupon.

New ownership ... Thought I'd give them a try since I lived on Schlotzkys growing up in Texas. Don't waste your time. Stood in line for 15 minutes while girl fumbled with cash register. It's 3:10pm (not the lunch rush). Like I say, until they hire some people to run the place, it's the same ol same ol absentee owner. No change at all.

I love (most) Schlotzskys... But this has to be the worst franchise location in their system! Rude employees, and idiotic hours of operation. What restraunt closes at 6:30pm? To make matters worse they leave their lights and open sign on long after they close! Avoid this place at all costs!

Went to Schlotskys for the first time, they have cinnabon... They serve them cold & hard. The sandwich was ok. In the drive through, the menu has no details whatsoever. NONE. So I ordered a ham sandwich and it had lots of mustard. I would have asked for no mustard but it didn't occur to me that there would be mustard.. It was inedible. The sandwich may have been good to someone else. The three stars is for the cinnabon issue (I would have given it two stars but my husband thought his sandwich was good so I might be being really picky about the sandwich). Who serves cinnabon like that??

Ordered a sandwich in the drive through and pulled forward to be handed my drink (flat) and chips (stale). Was listening to the radio and noticed a lot of time had gone by - got the guy's attention and was told that the oven had turned off and they had to reset it, so my sandwich would be "a few more minutes." 10 more minutes passed; cars now stacked up behind me. Guy comes to window and asks me to pull aside as my sandwich is still not done. I asked for my money back. He closed the window and left to speak to someone. More time passed - I got mad and left. In exchange for my $10, I got flat soda and stale chips. NEVER EVER EAT HERE. It is dirty and has terrible service.

I came in to the Anchorage location on Dimond Blvd. on Friday 8/30/13 at 12pm. We had called in an order for pick up and the order was wrong when I paid and I asked the employee to correct the sandwich and she informed me that if wanted the other sandwich I would have to pay for a new one as this was not the sandwich that was ordered. I explained to the cashier what the order was and she continued to argue with me over the order. She continued to tell me the only way to fix the sandwich was to pay for a new one. I then asked for the manager and she left the counter and was gone for a few minuets and when she came back she rudely told me I would have to wait a few minutes. So I stood at her register waiting and she snapped at me to move so she could help another customer. I moved to the pick up counter and waited another 8 minutes and the manager did not come. I asked the woman if it would be much longer and she said very rudely that they were busy so I would just have to wait. I then told the woman that I was on my lunch break and at this point I will not have time to eat and that I would like to see her manager now. When she got her manager the manager asked me what the issue was with the food, I explained that the order was wrong and that I wanted the other sandwich. When the employee again snapped that we ordered the other one. The manager asked what the correct sandwich was and she corrected the sandwich and the employee then took my bag that had two sandwiches in it and threw it in the trash. When I asked her why she just threw the other sandwich away she said I should have taken it out, she then tried to make me take a sandwich back that she was now pulling out of the trash! I told her I would not be taking that and requested that they make that sandwich again. when it was done the employee threw the bag with the second sandwich in it at me and walked off. I can not believe that this type of customer service is ok in your restaurant! I will NEVER be ordering from your restaurant again. If I was the manager of that location I would work on your employee's customer service skills and tell them to never ever offer someone food they just pulled out of the trash! That is so disgusting! Also there were flies all over the lobby...

Good if you like the mechanical and plastic tastes, as well as throwing your money away! Another gross, corporate chain that thinks handfuls of shaved iceberg lettuce smashed between a dry, stale bun constitutes the value of an $8 sandwich. Absolutely disgusting and unsatisfying.

This is the worst deli in anchorage! Assembly line sandwich with no flavor and flies? Where the hell do you get flies in anchorage in the winter? So many flies in the dinning area I was thinking.... How many in the food prep area? Ok now I'm not hungry at all. I haven't seen a fly since the snow started. Is Schlotzsky's harvesting them? How dirty can this place be? ok I'm done but that is the last time I will step foot in that vile place.

This is a corporate machine in the Deli Business and I am not impressed. You can ask for certain items on your sandwiches, but regardless, it all comes out tasting the same. At least in my book it does. At "Other" Big Business Sandwich shops, you can walk along as they make your sandwich, when I looked at the ones from Schlot's, it really appeared to be a uniformed, 3 day type training sandwich school result. Just not my cup of Ham if you will...
