Outdoor parking area was clean. No litter or cigarette butts. Entry area was welcoming and I was acknowledged and seated quickly. The restaurant was at around 40% capacity during the lunch hour. Deconte was my server. He was on his game. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. He was able to answer questions regarding the menu with ease. I ordered breakfast and it was delicious. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in for a bite.

Gotta update!! We recently visited this location again with family in town. It was great. Food was excellent. For Denny's anyway. Our server was very prompt and professional. Great experience. Dennys can be hit or miss experience but this was a home run.

Dear Yelp- it's times like this I would like to give a business ZERO stars. I had dinner at Denny's with my mother, it's one of her "favorites" so instead of sushi we went to Denny's. My initial thought was- awesome, it will be a blast from the past! All of my hangover mornings, drunken nights spent eating grand slams were from what I could remember- THE BEST! Oh, how wrong I was. So ridiculously wrong.... The eggs were raw, the manager was rude, the waitress was tired and the cook was stressed out. All of that equals out to a 25.00 bill. What did we order? We ordered some hyped up new breakfast from the fantastic four menu- the invisible woman slam. I thought that meant the breakfast was healthy or something and would help me in my attempt to become invisible or something. The cook was very loud and voiced that he was stressed out to his manager, the manager would yell at him "you're almost done! Don't let stress under cook the food" and he would alternate with that statement to "there YOU go, that's what I am talking about!" I will never ever return here unless someone tells me- (most likely my mother) that they don't want to eat dinner with me unless it's breakfast. Aside from the raw eggs, the oily greasy hash browns and the semi cooked bacon; the pancakes were decent. Maybe the cook at night is a vampire and doesn't quite know how to cook food, that would make sense as to why there are good reviews about daytime service. The good cook, a vampire hunter works in the day... If only the two cooks could meet.

Seated quickly - as soon as we walked in it was a warm greeting and seating for the four of us. Cliff the sever was awesome - he was quick and polite, drinks right away and kept the coffee full. He was engaging to the two little guys with us, and helped them feel more comfortable. The food - we got everything we ordered, and quickly. The Mac & Cheese came out cold, according to my son, but he was comfortable enough to tell Cliff and it was replaced immediately! Kudos for a quick replacement and not arguing. Everything was great, and on a Sunday the four of us were in & out in record time.

We eat at Denny's quite often in our travels. You usually know what to expect. The food was OK but we generally pay with our American express. We use it at every Denny's in the country. This restaurant does not take American Express,

Lousy Customer Service. Had to meet with a business partner at Denny's yesterday (7/2/14) afternoon. We noticed it was a bit loud, so we asked if we could sit in the section to the right of the casher. We were told no, and given a table in a corner in the back. Later on the same hostess sat a mother with two small and LOUD kids in the booth next to us. There was still plenty of areas they could have sat beside next to us. Frustrated we both only order pie and left. We agree never to go there again since it's as loud as Costco but terrible customer service. They couldn't go out of the way for two business professionals to have a quiet area to talk business. Two thumbs down, plenty of places for me to take my business.

I had breakfast; my order was chicken fried steak and eggs. The meat was old and had a real "off" taste. I know it wasn't me as the person I was dining with had the same thing. Also there was so little gravy used that it was ridiculous. The server was nice but the food took forever to come. I don't consider that the fault of the server though. I would hesitate to go back as you can find better restaurants to have a more taster meal in Anchorage.

I have been in Alaska all my life (20 yrs lol) and I have never ate here until now. I've always heard that the food was bad but omg was they wrong. I love the burgers here and the union rings are to die for. I've really been missing out. And the staff and service was too notch. They even sat us away from the crowd cause they saw that we had a little on board. Love em!!!

I came for a family style breakfast with my two sons and my fiancé. Friday morning great friendly staff. If one got busy others were there to help. I ate some awesome French toast that I built myself, my kids got to build they're own slams and my fiancé had a juicy ribeye steak cooked perfectly. The eggs were exactly how we ordered. Quick service in and out in 25 mins. Will for sure go here again.

I am not going to go on and on about Denny's up here in Alaska. I will tell you why I like them even though there are some who despise the place. It is open 24/7 up here and face it, it is a Denny's. Some days you hit the mark and don't have a bad experience and some days...but for the offerings of a hot meal at all times of the day and night, and the fact it will cost you within the range of moat fast food places today, I can honestly say it doesn't suck. I bought their discount card for twenty bucks and can pick up 2 dinners when jenn and I are rushed and go home for under 23.00. Carls Jr, burger king and Arby's all run us about 22.00 per shot.,, I will take my chances with Denny's.
