Sadly, this might be the cleanest bar in Weirton. The bar staff are friendly, the beer specials are great during games ($1 domestic drafts) and the food is good. They give you large portions. But really, its just poorly managed. There is stuff all over the walls, frankly its distracting. The bartenders keep their personal belongings in plain sight. I mean they cell phones, eye drops, Tylenol, gum... Come on. Put it away. And the manager is incredibly high energy, always willing to jump in, but often talking to his staff about things that are going wrong, in front of the customers.

Nothing fancy, but you get large quantities of food for the money. At dinnertime, the cheesebread appears be unlimited and the chicken basket special that's available on Tuesdays is an entire half a rotisserie chicken plus a side and salad. With all that cheesebread, it's not exactly healthy, but you won't leave hungry and the food quality is very solid. Definitely a good value, especially for a hotel restaurant and bar.

Same hotel again, but the service was much better. The food is still mediocre, but it's 11 outside so I appreciate the warmth.

Terrible Italian food. I've had meals in the restaurant and also catered at meetings in the hotel, and I won't willingly eat here again. They put pepperoni in everything (why in a garden salad??). Their lasagna meat had a strange taste and I had to peel off the noodles to eat by themselves. Not impressed, even by Holiday Inn standards.

Loved the Holiday Inn express attached to this restaurant. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. But I'm here to talk about Undo's so let's get down to what I did and didn't like about this Italian restaurant. Pros: drinks were cheap and in good size glasses at the bar. Fun filled place at night with many tables and karaoke. Cheesy bread is very tasty. Crunchy crust and cheesy doughy inside. Highly recommend ordering it if it does not already come with your meal. Cannoli, next time I will come here just for that. Drizzled in chocolate, cannoli cream mixed with chocolate chips and a topping of Whipped cream. Yum! Cons: unfortunately for dinner we were seated at a table that wasn't cleaned from the people before us. Had to ask for napkins and utensils already after our food came out. Some of the wine glasses had smudges and lipstick marks as if they weren't washed. Our ravioli appetizer was over cooked, could barely cut with a knife. My moms taste of Italy meal was over cooked and dry. I ordered the Tuscany chicken, which was tasty, but I had to say I was disappointed in the small size of chicken under all that cheese. It was supposed to include artichoke hearts but I felt that they were the main dish and it was served with a side of chicken instead. I guess it's okay for a sports bar. I'll only be back if I ever stay at this hotel again and I will just go straight to the bar for drinks or just ask for some cheesy bread and a cannoli.

Disappointing. Average at best. I've eaten at this Undo's for years. Was at their initial Weirton location (Pennsylvania Avenue), as well as Undo's West in St. Clairsville and Elm Grove, The food has gone from very good to mediocre in a short span of time. Smaller portions (and higher prices) also part of the 'new and improved' motif. Even the renowned 'cheesy bread' was tough and chewy. Bummer. Service has never been an issue for me. Always prompt. Hopefully someone in management steps up and improves the quality of the dining experience at this establishment.

The atmosphere is distracting, but it is a sports bar so I'll let it go. Thought I should point it out in case that matters to anyone. However, the food is a bust. What Italian place over cooks it's pasta? The answer is Undos. My penne was actually rigatoni and was so soft I couldn't finish it. I've been here twice for travel, both times were bad so a third trip is not in my future.

Waited for 10 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant, completely out of 1/2 of the sodas (dr pepper, root beer etc) so started off rough. No caesar salad available on the menu... WHAT Italian restaurant doesn't have Caesar salad?? Food came out luke warm and was bland. Cheese bread was good, but wanted more than bread! The chicken on my order was in small cubes with a hint of freezer burn thrown in for flavor. Do yourself a favor!! STOP, DROP, and roll over to the BBQ place next door.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. It's still pretty great but the quality of the food has slipped somewhat over the years. The sauce isn't quite as flavorful and the portions are noticeably smaller. Their cheesy bread used to be amazing but the last few times we've visited, it has either been soggy or burnt. I really hope they can work things out and get back to the level they were once at, because goddamn that cheesy bread was good.

Fantastic food wonderful service. You get great salad and to die for cheese bread with every meal. The food is oh so good. Friendly servers just a really nice place.

Decent food, expensive, decent sized portions, not bad for a hotel restaurant.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
