Had the grilled chicken and it was very good. Fries were standard, but good. Very pleased with the service and the atmosphere.

This is a really nice, family owned, restaurant. No cheaper than a chain, but much better. 10 bucks for a spectacular bacon, turkey and cheese flatbread sandwich, onion rings, and a drink. Why would anyone go to a chain instead? Important side note... they take AmEx.

Good service, but the hamburger and the fries tasted like warmed up in a microwave. Based on prior comments, I was expecting more of this restaurant.

This is the first time I have visited West Virginia. I love this little restaurant. I was very impressed with the service. Our server, Beth was very friendly and knew how to present the menu, all of her recommendations were spot on. I left her a 100% tip. Thanks Beth H. PS I loved the apple dumplings..

BEST place to eat around Moorefield Petersburg area! The atmosphere is great having indoor and outdoor seating! The food is Delicious!!! Wednesdays is half off Burgers and their burgers are awesome!!!! Also their desserts are ALL homemade and I haven't tried one I didn't like! Pumpkin cheesecake being my favorite followed by the Coconut creme pie!

Having visited Moorefield for work, and not knowing much about the area, I'm figuring this is one of the few places to eat. It's very homey and welcoming, and was packed at lunch time on a Thursday. Service was great. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and fries, and it was quite good. I've nothing to complain about. The wraps with sweet potato fries looked even better, so I think I ordered wrong! Wish I'd had some pie - they have a huge list. As an aside, there's cell service in Moorefield, which is good, because there isn't much of it in the surrounding area. Anyway, if in the town, O'Neills is not a bad stop to make. Not bad at all.

Great little place! We were passing thru and needed a place to eat. Stopped in and enjoyed a warm and filling meal on a cold evening. Nice specials!

Had lunch at O'Neills yesterday based on comments from Yelp members. My wife and I had sandwiches, mine was the turkey, bacon and cheese on a grilled flatbread. Excellent. My wife had the fisher which was vey good but basic. Order the slaw.

I truly love this place. I highly recommend the tex-mex burger and the chips. All of the desserts are delicious. However the White chocolate coconut cake was the BEST.

It's been a few years since I've been to O'Neills, but I still remember the abundant selection of pies to choose from. I don't recall much about the main course, but the pie was EXCELLENT!!!!

I love this place!! I always pass by when driving to my parents and today we decided to have lunch here after reading other yelp posts and what a fantastic little diner. I had the BLT with the T being a fried green tomato (yum). I'm not a pita bread person but was otherwise a good sandwich. Potato soup was great and the creme brûlée was the best I've ever had. They have a big list of pies, the service is quick and friendly, and the food was just right! I vow to stop here from now on when passing thru.

O'Neills has the best mashed potatoes in all of West Virginia! At least...between the three places I tried in the area. :) I really liked the atmosphere, and had it been cooler, it would have been great to dine outdoors. The desserts were huge and there were a lot of them. Cute place, glad to have eaten here.

Agree with the person that first reviewed this place. Service was quick, and food was fine for an area like this. We had pasta, swordfish, and steak and we all thought our meals were fine. They have really good desserts, like the blueberry pie that I had. For this type of place, it was expensive..with tip the bill was over $80..no liquor or appetizers. Two annoying things: the music was on too loud and wehad a couple of house flies joining us for dinner.

Between Petersburg and moorefield, this is the best place to eat around. Charming outdoor patio during the warmer months. Food is generally pretty good, although some of the dishes are a little uncreative, for example, the burger. Steaks and seafood are good though. If you're going to spend your money in moorefield or Petersburg, go here. No fountain soda machine...womp womp. I'll take a water over the can, thanks.

Ok, so it wouldn't get 4 stars in a major metropolitan area, but for Moorefield, WV it's as gourmet as it gets. Fresh salads, homemade soups and sandwiches, and a big selection of excellent pies. I'd eat here anyways, but when the competition is almost all fast food, dining here is a No Brainer. While they do catering, their Main Street restaurant is cute, quaint, and reliably good.

there is fine dining in wv. but this is not the place. better than most places in the area but still lacking. still to much stuff in the freezer. could not get a burger cooked medium rare because it was still slightly frozen. salmon is "fresh" frozen. this is not some greasy diner in the middle of nowhere so no reason to have frozen entree's. prime rib was good for the price. they need to learn to space the time between salads and entree's. would like to finish one before the other arrives. have been eating there since 2008 and feel that the quality control is starting to slip. still better than driving to cumberland or winchester.

If you get cell coverage (very tough in this area), and are moderately hungry - this is the spot. Nice menu, solid cooking, great pie and wonderful small town staff.
