What? There are no reviews for Lisa's Sweet Shoppe and Bakery? Then I will gladly be the first. This charming little shop delivers some mighty big bakery and delicious breakfasts. (There is lunch too, but we didn't have time to try it). To round our week of hiking on the Ice Age Trails in this beautiful area of Wisconsin, we decided to try Lisa's. I ordered a normal breakfast of eggs over easy and bacon...Nueske's for sure, I opted to replace my healthy toast for a maple bacon fritter. Oh my....yum, I figured I could walk it off later. We also bought a loaf of the bakery's wonderful-looking fresh bread. There were many choice of breads and rolls. This isn't a big place, and that's fine. There is one long table and a round one in the corner, and that's a good way to meet new people. This place is a treasure in a neat town where almost every building has an artist-painted mural on it. Worth a stop all the way around.
