My friend is the fair bar maiden at the tiki bar on Thursday nights. I have to note that was my one reason for commuting to Muskego. I would not have otherwise happened upon this converted house. I did not visit the bar indoors, but there may be a future visit, at least during volleyball season. I was not sure what the quality of food would be at this "dive bar," but I was happily surprised. We ordered a large sausage and jalapeno pizza. On Thursday nights, the special is $4 off a large pizza. All told, our pizza came to $18. So, it was a little pricey for a two-topping pizza, but it was well worth it. The crust was paper thin, which I enjoy. I do not like to get full on an overabundance of dough. The cheese was the perfect ratio to crust and sauce. The sauce had a slight sweetness, and countered the kick from the jalapeno slices. The sausages appeared handmade and were generously dispersed on the pie. They were meaty and had a touch of spice. All of the ingredients made for a good pizza, and it was baked to well done without being burned. Kudos for conquering the thin crust. If we return for a Thursday volleyball night, we will check out the indoors. I should also venture to other items on the menu, but I feel the pizza may be their star.

Maybe I shouldn't be so generous with the 5 star rating, but it was just a burger. Very tasty and juicy, good fries, as well. Fish and potato pancakes were reported to be very good, excellent service, and that great fried food smell lets you know you're in a Wisconsin bar / restaurant.

It isn't too often that you go to a place and feel like it's just the right fit, but that's what Marx is for me. It's good old fashioned comfort food done right, big portions, and reasonable prices. I have had about half of the stuff on the menu from the burgers to the pizza, and have never been disappointed. All of this from a guy who has been in the bar/restaurant business since he was a kid. I think that this place is ready to be the next big thing, stop in and become a regular now before it's too late!

Best cheese curds in Muskego! Great thin crust pizza (bbq chicken is a personal favorite). The owner is usually there and makes you feel right at home. They have outdoor seating and live music too.
