My boyfriend and I are always looking around the local area for great sushi places and I stumbled upon Tsun's Sushi and thought we better check it out. To say the least we were very pleased with our experience! The interior was very tidy and the service was quick. Also, the owner showed a genuine interest in our well being and satisfaction. The sushi was very neat and fresh. We have only tried a few different rolls including the rainbow roll, pacific roll, and a couple others. All were delicious! Probably the best sushi I have tried in the Tacoma/University Place area yet!

The food here was delicious. My favorite was the Sunshine roll. The seaweed salad and teriyaki salmon had really good flavor too. I find it interesting that there are Seahawks pictures on the walls and the sports channel on. If I ever pass by Tacoma again, then I'll bring my brother here since he loves sushi and football. It was a nice experience.

GREAT SUSHI. This should be Tacoma's new hidden gem. You've seen owner Chef Wesley Tsun on the big screen at Seahawk's stadium as the stadium sushi chef and at Kindai at Snoqualmie Casino!!! He's now opened his own pad over in Tacoma!!!! I had his Red Bull roll tonight and as he says, it's an energy roll!!! Full of wasabi/jalapeno goodness served with excellent raw tuna on top. I also had his crispy sweet fried chicken and smoked eel spider roll!!! All goodness! The fried chicken should be a new hit for Tacoma!! Lots of parking. This place is also a 12th man stop! Chef Wesley wants you to have sushi and sports mixed together!!! Good prices from cheap to moderate.
