Ok place. Margaritas are nothing special. Food was alright still nothing impressive. I have had much better. Lots of seating.

Disclaimer: I have never eaten here. On the basis of good form and fair play, I never will because as I went to pick up my order from Thai Spice a man came rushing out of this establishment and exclaimed that there food was better-that he had a menu-that we should eat at his place. Way to try to give your neighbor a sucker punch. Didn't work for me and I hope that cuss doesn't work for you either.

This was my second time eating here. The first was the day we moved to Murfreesboro and wanted to feed our friends who helped us move. We ordered food to go. I ordered the #7 (enchilada, chili relleno, rice & beans) and really liked it. This was back in December. There wasn't anything wrong with our food and nachos is actually the closest Mexican restaurant to our house. We just wanted to try other places since we had just moved into town and we don't go out to eat super often. Fast forward back to present day. We had a bad experience with another Mexican place so we decided to order food from nachos again. This time I ordered the shrimp chimichanga and thought it was good. Not the best I've had but not the worst. The guacamole that came with my meal was more brown than green and tasted old so I scooped it off and threw it out. Bummer. The salsa was good though. When I go back, I'll probably order something different or the #7 again.

I love Mexican food, but Nacho's employees take it a step further. Their manager is amazing and he will make sure that you are taken care of even if there are small problems (i.e. need more to drink, spill on table, etc). ALSO, they have Brain Blast Trivia with Kris on Tuesday and Jennifer on Saturday nights. They're both awesome hosts and it's always a good time! The $1 tacos on Tuesday are amazing. The chicken tacos are the best in town!

We were seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter was obviously trying to do 10 things at one time because the whole time we were giving him our drink orders he was looking around the restaurant and acting as if he was impatient. Typically, in my experiences at Mexican Restaurants they are super fast, in and out in not time. Not this night! We sat down at 7:48pm food was brought to the table at 8:30pm which only one of four dishes were correct. 8:45 two of the three dishes came. My food finally came when my fiance and kids were done eating. I ordered the enchiladas, and YUCK! The enchilada sauce they use is thick like tomatoe past3 and does not taste like any enchilada sauce I have ever tasted. I took 2 bites and didnt eat any more, waste of 9 bucks if you ask me. Finally after getting our check the waiter appologized for being short and pretty much for the crappy service as he went in to the reason he acted the way he did. Brightside, the kids taco salads were good and there salsa is good too, but I have had better. Dont believe the hype on this place like we did. I will never go back to this place.

Nacho's, Nacho's, Nacho's ... Where should I start? First and foremost, I love a good patio!! They have $5 pitchers, live music on Thursday nights and the best manager in town! He truly can turn any experience right around. We hadn't been in for a few months and he recognized us off the bat. Asked how we'd been and why we hadn't been in to in such a while. Their chips and salsa are standard, their servers are timely and helpful. Not once have we had a bad experience or server! I love the veggie fajitas but we mostly like to grab a few drinks and sometimes take food to go...We are drinkers, not foodies :)) Go to Nacho's you wont be disappointed!!

If I want regular Americanized Mexican food this is my go to. But there really is no other competition here in Murfreesboro.

Ok so this is my first time here and I gotta say ... Not bad at all . I came in on a Saturday for lunch. The staff was great had a nice lunch menu. I had the pollo bandito and wow it was good . Pulled chicken in a cheese sauce with beans and rice and hot flour tortillas. Loved it. I do recommend this place and it looks like it would be a fun place for a date night

Tuesday & Saturday night at 7pm is Trivia Night...lots of fun, even with kids! My favorite is their Skinny Margarita...all the flavor of a regular margarita without all the sweetness! Also, get the table side guacamole....you will not be disappointed!

Hands down best Mexican Food in Murfreesboro, have a Comino less than a mile away but is worth the drive accross town, prices are more resonable and the Table side guacamole is a must. See you soon!

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It's nice to eat at a Mexican restaurant that actually grills their chicken. The queso mushroom dip is a must-try!

Ok, I'm giving this place 5 stars solely based on service. The manager is super nice and is eager to correct any problems with your order. We go here for trivia every Tuesday night and always have a great time.

This is a cozy little oasis in the middle of a highway wasteland. The food is delicious and authentic, the prices are very reasonable, and our server was helpful, polite, and friendly! What else do you want?

Love this place :) The inside is very nice; real-material decor, as in, real wood, custom chairs, real rock, etc. Not the cheap decor you see in most Mexican restaurants. The food, not only is it great, but the portions are huge! My boyfriend (who is twice my size) and I both share a plate and barley finish it. The margaritas - strong and awesome!

I decided to update my previous review and add one more star. I decided to give this place another try for Taco Tuesday. I gotta say - the chicken tacos were amazing. I wasn't a fan of the shells but the chicken itself was a huge step up from what I experienced last time. For $1, you can enjoy beef or chicken tacos and also partake in trivia! It was lots of fun and I will definitely be coming here for Taco Tuesday more often.

For years we have been loyal Camino Real patrons. So much so, that we had "our regular waitress". Yeah we LOVE Mexican food that much, but hey, my husband is a Texan, so it is to be expected! On a whim one day after church, we were feeling a bit adventurous and decided to venture into the realm of the unknown. So we stumbled across Nacho's. At first glance it didn't appear to be any different than your average Middle Tennessee Mexican restaurant but once the chips and salsa were on the table I knew we had found somewhere new! The salsa has a fiery sweetness that is tamed by the flavor of fresh cilantro. Now, as a recovering cilantro addict I could tell my days of recovery were over...I was hooked! The menu also delivered more of an authentic Mexican flavor, as well as some dishes I had never even heard of before. Their chicken is a perfect blend of smokiness and savory from being grilled over a flame instead of your typical flat cooktop/stove area. Sometimes the service can be a bit slower, but I actually enjoy having a conversation with my family and friends that I came to eat with instead of always having to converse with the waiter/waitress who is always checking in to see how we are doing. If I feel like I need something I'm big enough just to ask for it! The only thing I wish was different was the kids meals do not include a drink, but we just prep our kids beforehand and they know it is a water night! But regardless, we will return and savor the company and the bold flavors of our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

The restaurant has atmosphere in spades. It has all the makings of a great eatery - all they need is a chef. The food is very bland and not in anyway noteworthy. They get points for trying hard - but still they miss. Water cups should be full without me asking as should the salsa bowls. ( add a smidge of salt to the chips for heavens sake ) its not really a place I would go to twice.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Nacho's. The atmosphere was great - the restaurant was tastefully decorated with authentic Mexican decor. Suri provided excellent service and spent time to make sure we understood the menu. Our drinks and food were delicious, and we look forward to our next vist, even though we do not live very close. The manager, Chava, gave us personalized attention as well. We cannot say enough good things about our experience at Nacho's!

Nachos is near our house & we LOVE Mexican food, so we decided to try it out one evening. The salsa was good and spicy, but the cheese dip was thick - almost chunky - and the portion was small. The margaritas were a big disappointment; all sweet & sour and tequila. Spicy food + horrible margaritas = heartburn for 3 days. They need new recipe since margaritas are such a staple at Mexican spots. Especially if you are next to a college campus and about a zillion apartments full of college students. The food was okay, but we were in pain for 2 days after our experience there. I won't be back.

Today was our first visit to Nachos. First impression walking through the door was it was a cute place with fresh decor. Seats were comfy. The heavy smell of Comet gave the impression it was clean but was a little overpowering for a place where food aromas should prevail. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and appreciated as customers. When we sat down and were handed dirty menus, and the drink folder on the table was also dirty, I was a little put off since the place is so new. This was even odder since I watched an employee carefully wipe and inspect each piece of silverware before folding it into a paper napkin for setting the table (YAY for them!). My advice to them would be to add daily cleaning of the menus to the list of backup work. We first ordered the homemade guacamole. It was very good and the lady who prepared it for us at our table was delightful. Also outstanding was the spicier salsa we were served when we asked for something with a little more kick than their standard salsa (which was plain but enjoyable). When the food was served (and the timing of the meal was PERFECT so as to allow us to enjoy our guac before the meal was ready), the plate for my combo dinner was hot, but the food on it was cold. After informing our server, she left then came back to say they checked things out in the kitchen and gave me the impression there was nothing done in the kitchen to have caused it. Hmmm. A few minutes later, a man who appeared to be a manager stopped by at our table to get details and seemed appreciative of our input. He seemed to understand that the reason we brought it up was so that they can continue to work the kinks out of a new restaurant that we hope to see succeed in Murfreesboro. In summary, I haven't yet tasted their enchilada or beans, because since they were cold, I put them into a take-out container and won't know about them til supper tonight. The tamale and taco were good, but not superior to others I've had in the 'Boro. Their enchilada sauce tastes a little more like a tomato sauce and a little less like a chile sauce than I care for, but it was good and flavorful and I think it will suit the taste of many consumers. Though it is in a location convenient to us, Nacho's didn't outshine our two more favorite Mexican restaurants in town but I think they have a lot going for them and you should give them a try.

Good atmosphere with average Mexican-American food. They have trivia all throughout the week. The owners are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and treat you like family.

I had what has to be the absolute worst service I've had in my life. First, The server took 10 minutes to bring me my water and menu. The menu is kind of short sighted in the way of explaining drinks, and the server was NO help. "What flavor margaritas do you have?" Him: house and top shelf. "what is the name of the top shelf tequila?" Him: I think it's "top shelf" . Then I ordered tacos w/ a side of sour cream and Mexican rice. My order came without any sour cream, no big deal. But My neighbors order came w/ something she didn't order. Her sons chicken nuggets came in the form of a cheeseburger. It took me another 15 minutes to get my sour cream. By then, my tacos were cold so I sent them back. They came with no lettuce. I sent them back again. We won trivia, so we got a coupon for our next visit. Yeah, that's not happening.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
