There were 7 of us in our party. Since we arrived early, we sat at the bar. The bar tender was great. Personable and funny. The food was ample, as described in other reviews. I ordered the grilled grouper with a citrus beurre blanc sauce. It was lacking any sauce, only a little butter (1/4 teaspoon). The grouper was cooked perfectly. It wasnt over done, which is common. The seasoning was strong, which I liked, but my wife thought it was too much. My wife order Mediterranean chicken. It was good, but the olives and tomatoes were raw and not cooked at all. They give you a lot of red sauce with the pasta; if you dont like a lot tell your server. The server we had gave us a hard time about getting another side of pasta with just a little sauce. The side went from 2 cups of sauce to 2 tablespoons. The clam chowder was brothy and strong with bacon. I liked it, but not like what you get in new england, but it is the south. The server we was awful. Do not get Kelly. Ask for another server. She cost the restaurant 1 star in this review. Took forever to get drinks, 1 small loaf of bread for 7 people (seemed put out when we asked for more), forgot part of our order, had to ask several times to fill our drinks, and much more. If you get her, get another server or leave. We asked her questions about the menu... Her answer was I don't know.

First off - amazing prices for the quality. Restaurant was pretty full at lunch. Was able to sit at table in the bar area and plug into the wall to work. Menu has sandwiches, salads, steak and chicken and fish dishes. I had the Cajun chicken with their confusion sauce. Coworker had the steak salad, said the meat was really good. I loved the chicken. They even have a full bar!

We had shrimp and crab bisque that was very good. My wife had the filet mignon and she was very pleased with her steak. I had the Ode to Philly Steak which is a ribeye with onions peppers and mushrooms. It was also very good. We topped it off with a red velvet cake which was also very good. Okay why the 3 star rating? We arrived on Valentine's right after they opened. We did not have a reservation. The manager stated that they had one table but that we had to be finished by 5:30 because of the next reservation. I get that too but it was how she said it. I would have been happier if she had said sorry we cannot accommodate you

While in town for business, I ate here for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the food was and at a great price. I would have eaten here again the same day. Its unfortunately they only open for dinner on the weekend.

Gem of a restaurant. Food is uniquely prepared and tasty. Prices are reasonable. I was on vacation. This restaurant (within walking distance of the library) was a fabulous find. Friendly waiters, excellent food, great service. What more could you ask??!!

Our group ate there this past Saturday night and had a great time. All of the staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent all around, nice big serving sizes and no complaints at all on taste. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend this place.

Service with a smile! Kelly was our server. We got mussels and boy were they worth it! The wine and beer menu was a bit limited, but it did the job. My wife got steak Ilaliano, ( al forno ) which was excellent. in keeping with our great appetiser, I got the seafood pasta plate... Yum! Soon when we move to Crossville to retire for good, this place, and Kelly will be frequented by us on a regular basis. Great job tonight, Kelly!

Decent meal, friendly staff. I wanted to enjoy it more...I love Italian! Unfortunately, it's more Jersey Italian...frozen Jersey Italian, ugh. I guess with enough cheese anything can be kinda good. Now with all this being said, I have forgotten to mention I'm in Crossville, TN. Where is this you ask? Somewhere you stop on a long road trip to anywhere else. Given the location, maybe it deserves 3 stars, but think I'll just keep it at 2.

Was on a golf trip with some friends and stopped by after a round of golf. Had about a 20 minute wait at 7:00pm. The server was new but did a good job tending to us although it was really busy. The food was great. I had spaghetti with meatballs and it was really good. A couple friends had the Alfredo shrimp pasta and loved it. Will definitely go here again when back in town. I also recommend the double chocolate cake for dessert.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
