Gross. Idk how people think this is good?!? The marinara sauce is the worst I've ever had! Taste like the kind you could get in the frozen food section of a boxed food. Actually it might be worse. Also, the Italian salad dressing tastes like water. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I will say..... the people are nice. And that is the ONLY reason I give this place 2 stars.

I recently started working nearby to Tony's, so I've stopped in a few times for pizza at lunchtime and also ordered carry-out once in the evening. I really like the pizza here for its great flavor and crispy (but not overcooked) crust. It's one of the greasier pizzas I've had, but admittedly, I was raised on delicious greasy pizza, and if I wanted something healthy, I'd order something besides pizza in the first place! The restaurant is very clean and well-kept inside and the prices are reasonable for a local business. I appreciate the great employee discount for working at one of the nearby companies. Thanks to the management at Tony's for this perk! I would go out of my way to order Tony's instead of one of the big chains' pizzas. I haven't had one of their mega 28" pizzas yet, but it looks like quite the gastronomic marvel! I would recommend Tony's if you're looking for a good, fresh-made, classic pizza in Greenville.

All around terrible pizza. I don't know how anyone thinks this pizza is good. Worse than papa johns or dominos. This is like pizza you would get from chuckie cheese. I feel bad for people who think this is good, I guess you've never had real pizza from NY/NJ. Go down the road to sciortinos.

This place sucks. Just ordered from there tonight. I'm not a picky eater at all and this is the worst stromboli I've ever had! I feel bad giving them a horrible review because it looks like a small business. I should've known from not seeing anybody in there whenever I drove by, or the customer who walked in wanting a refund because she found a hair in her food when I was waiting for mine. (True story) Did I mention that the cashier got my order wrong? The toppings on the supreme stromboli included pepperoni, beef, sausage, black olives, onions. I kindly asked to hold the beef. That doesn't mean hold the beef and pepperoni both! Also, any pizza place that uses canned mushrooms should get shut down immediately. The sausage tasted like a different kind of sausage that did not belong on a stromboli or pizza. Disgusting. With plenty of other great options around the area, it would not be a wise move to choose this place! Surprised it hasn't gone out of business.

Got a veggie sub from here. It was a ton load of food, and the guy was real friendly. Taste was pretty decent.

I had a Greek Pizza. It was about as Greek as I am. (I'm not Greek.) It was tasty, but I couldn't taste the feta, it needed black olives, and it needed some meat, like gyro meat. I ordered sausage for it, and that sufficed. The crust is soft and kind of sweet tasting. Additionally, it was REALLY oily. You'll see the oil pool on the bottom of the box. That'll slide on through ol' Mr. Descending Colon tomorrow for sure. Like a greased log. The staff was helpful and friendly, the place looked clean, and the families in there with their kids looked like they were enjoying themselves, so it seems like an overall nice place to go eat. They just don't serve the best quality pizza around.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
